Wilfred looks at Venture, and soberly says: “Thanks wordsmith. I guess I shouldn’t have underestimated you. You probably saved my life there...” Turning to Kalahari, Wilfred puts his hand on her shoulder, and adds: “Your first brush with death is a terrifying and terrific thing. Over time, you get used to it, like a Lone Traveller, following you on your path.”
Wilfred gritts his teeth at a sudden rush of pain through his shredded forearm, and gets to bandaging his arm, after applying a salve of honey and ash, to keep the wound clean. After a few moments, he looks up at the soldier who joined them, and grunts: “ Who sent’cha here?”

"Ah, i'm Quavari. The captain sent me to check up on you guys, sorry I got here a little late." The warforged says as I go over to shake the new groups hands
Ganathor looks around the camp, trying to get a good estimate of the number of soldiers (or at the very least the number of fires). He leans over to Guthric and whispers, "We shouldn't push our luck too far. I don't know about you but going into that tent looks like a risky proposal at best"
Wraith whispers back, "I do not plan to enter via the front entrance; but I do want to get a look inside. That is probably the best source of information here in the camp. Perhaps one of you could cause a distraction, while the other keeps a look out. I can sneak in for a look admidst the confusion."
"I believe a distraction ends with some of us dead and the others captured. Even if we cause a commotion, there's no guarantee that this person will be the one to respond to an alarm"
Wilfred takes the iron prank offered by the warforged. “Well met, Mountain of Steel. Glad to have one of you around, one less person to worry about and one more person to guard my back. Worked with one of yous down South, though she was built for medical service...” At that, Wilfred is scanning over the warforged frame, trying to determine the chances of this still being a scouting mission by the frame of the warforged before him. He then adds: “Qavari, wasn’t that the name of the battalion commander of the Lancers at Rivendale? Might be mistaken, but how’d you come by your name?”
(I don’t know what to roll to glean insights into our mission by looking at the warforged, but Wilfred has a military background and presumably knows enough to get an idea)

Quoren finds no such orbs on the wolves. It simply appears that they were animals who were starving, judging by their leanness.
Scouting Party
The guards outside the yurt-tent are unnaturally still. For a moment, you aren't sure if they're even alive. A brief flare of light from one of the bonfires illuminates them for a moment, and you can see that the two guards appear to be humans with pale blue skin. Each is dressed in light armor, with a halberd in one hand and a buckler strapped to the opposite arm. Their helmets are the most noticeable piece of their outfit. While a standard design, rather than having a gap to see, the armor over their eyes is thick and without an opening. The bonfire resumes its usual shape, and you can only see their shadowy outlines again.
(Was everyone together inside? I had wanted to take an e exterior scouting position, but it seems like we're all together still. I'm totally fine with it either way, but I just wanted to be sure before reacting.)

Finishing his notes, Venture will get up from his mat and join Kalahari on the second watch. As Wilfred heads to rest, Venture says, “You are very welcome, medicine man. Your bravery was evident, thank you for your quick work.”
To Quavari, “Hello, warforged soul. I am Venture, teller of tales and keeper of the stories of war. Glad to have you join us here in the wilderness. Let’s hope our scouts make it back soon so we can decide next steps.”
He will settle down next to Kalahari and stare out into the darkness. “I hope you are ok. The wolves were quite frightening, but you handled yourself well. Let us see what we can see, yes?” He alternates between watching and writing with a peculiar black quill that turned red at the tip.
Wraith turns to his two companions. "I suggest we gather the others & rejoin the rest of the scouting party. We've found the camp & can report the non-orc guards. We can now lead the Captain here in force. What say you two?"
