Rather than taking her standard place at the front of the line, Gabriel moves behind Ceasar and Krag, keeping an eye on the back. "Keep going, I'll shout out instructions as we continue along."
Marching Order: (Front to Back): Bavarax Cyllyn, Nuur, Herman, Ceasar/Krag, Gabriel
[I need a Wisdom (Survival) check from Bavarax, with advantage, as Gabriel is directing you.]
Bavarax was impressed to see Gabriel didn't seem to tire no matter how long they had to continue pressing forward. He keeps an eye out for any traps or additional jackals that might be in the area. He keeps an ear out for any particular instructions he would need to act on quickly as well.
An hour or two later, Gabriel calls for a stop as you come upon a deep gorge in the earth. Looking at the area around the party, she frowns. "One moment. Keep an eye out for threats." With your backs to the gorge, Gabriel takes off into the sky, flying up higher than she had before.
[Anyone who wants to actively look for threats may make a Wisdom (Perception) check.]
Bavarax also keeps an eye out while holding his weapon. He was hoping he might be able to lend a better hand then he had when leading the party forward.
With keen awareness, you all ensure that nothing escapes your notice. Nuur notices how deep the gorge is- deep enough that he can't see the bottom. A flicker of movement in the shadows of a rock a few hundred feet off catches Ceasar's attention, just before Gabriel returns from up above. "We're too far south. We can follow this gorge for a few miles before it tapers off and cross it there. I'll take the lead this time." With that, she begins to head northward along the gorge.
[Anyone may make Wisdom (Perception checks as you progress northward.]
Ooc: @ everyone: if you agree, for next times , I would let all of us roll perception or other passive rolls to the dm, what can we add? In this way we don’t loose a lot of time
Sorry dndpro100, I don’t quite understand what you mean. Are you saying that we would private message the DM with skill rolls of a specific type or something else?
(I´m also not sure but I think he means that our DM should just do our passive rolls if he needs them, so we are not waiting for everyone to individually roll)
Ooc: i think that defeats some of the point of play by post where you can add narrative flare to your rolls, and puts even more work on the DM so no, I dont want to do that. Also the thread is going to be ending rather soon so Im not too worried about people taking too long to respond.
