At Mulligan's words, Droop gulps audibly. "Wizard is leader. He that way," Droop says as he points to the northern end of the hallway. "But he bad. Bad man. You save, yes? Slaves that way," he says, pointing back towards the cavern and north. "Droop help - show traps. Droop good?" he asks.
"Well, this has been enlightening. I'll go check ahead with this Droop fellow, make sure the coast is clear. Wouldn't want my bodyguards to get caught up in some fire blast trap. Like the time I was in Dunkargen prison...a guest, of course. Poor lizardman never saw it coming. One second he was walking away a free reptile, and the next, we smelled barbeque. After you, Droop."
He motions for Droop to lead the way.

Delg hauls the goblin to his feet, but keeps a firm hold on the rope still tied around him. "What can we expect down that hsllway?" He stands behind Droop after slinging his shield over his shoulder.
Bear form Raya is torn between going to the south or north door in the hallway. She thinks there's redbrandsbehibd that door and is eager for action. She'll head to the North door and look back at the group. She'll do her best to snarl/grunt and swing her head towards the north door the proceed to approach.
Droop watches the bear with wide eyes. "Bad men that way," he says. "Bear smell true. Slaves not friends - they human," he says. "Droop help, you save too?" he asks woefully.
(Party is the blue X. Way to slaves is the green arrow, way to wizard/redbrands is the red arrow. Droop and bugbears came from room 9)
"Here," Kelvin holds out his hands and Lucy leaps out from his shoulders, "She and I can help scout with you and our new friend."

"Fine. Can't see how this will be profitable, but sure. Rescue the slaves. Just like that time when I liberated the slaves from the orc camps in the Dread Wastes. Droop looks at the party almost reproachfully. "Slaves not fight. Slaves women and children," he says. "Droop only goblin," he says woefully. "But Droop show - then you let Droop and slaves go?" He looks at Ajax, his eyes wide.
Melkias turns back towards the cavern, moving silently. Melkias, as you approach the pillar, you sense the presence of something. Ajax, you move up behind Melkias, but don't see anything. Droop watches the party, and then says, "Not that bridge. Trapped. Use other one." He points to the north bridge.
(Raya/bear is brown X, party blue Xs, Droop green X)
"Eye monster, eh." Delg toward where the bear had taken the bugbear's body. He looks at the other two bodies and back at Mulligan. "Still keen on keeping one?"
"You want him with you up front?" He turns to Melkias, pointing to Droop and silently asking if he should untie him.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Delg takes the goblin up in front of Melkias and unties him. "Show the way." He puts the rope away and walks perpendicular to the crevice toward the north bridge. He hefts his shield and hammer as he walks, eyes looking across the chasm.
Droop looks uncomfortable, but begins leading the party toward the north bridge. His eyes dart around. "Food for eye monster?" he asks again. "Droop not taste good!" he says loudly. At his words, you all hear the voice in your heads. There is a small giggle that quickly morphs into cackling laughter. "More fooood," the voice rasps. "Hairy meat. Remember," it says, then falls silent. Droop cautiously walks over to the north bridge and then stops. "Droop can cross, not you," he says, indicating the party. "Too heavy - climb down?" he asks.
Looking into the crevasse, you can see that the rough walls seem easily traversed. The crevasse is between 5-10ft wide and about 20 ft deep. Droop waits at the edge, a question in his eyes.

Droop looks at Melkias and then at the bear. "Bad men in there," he says, motioning towards the north door. "Or we go to slaves?" he asks hopefully.
"If the slaves are able to fight, it would be better to get them first. Plus it makes sure they can not be used against us later. And I know my cousin would want to repay those who took him."
Ajax agrees
"let's get to the slaves first"
Even if not trusting the goblin very much
He starts to go that way, paying attention to any surprise, javelin at the ready.

Melkias - whatever is was you sensed before, it seems to be gone now.
Droop indicates the north bridge again. "You have more food for eye monster?" he asks.
"Eye monster, eh." Delg toward where the bear had taken the bugbear's body. He looks at the other two bodies and back at Mulligan. "Still keen on keeping one?"

Raya (Bear) reluctantly follows the group with Droop in her sights.
Melkias looks back and smiles.
"Yeah, let him lead. I'd rather not spring a trap that this guy seems to know about."
