Melkias nods and smiles at the man, his exhaustion having set in. He resigns to his room, where he takes out his lute and strums a vaguely reminiscent tune. Once he starts to get sleepy, he puts his lute nearby and falls fast asleep.

As you wake, you all head downstairs and find your way to a table. Toblen greets you as you appear and bustles around bringing you all something to eat and drink. "On the house, of course, since you saved us from the dragon and now the Redbrands," he says with a smile. As he serves you, Sildar comes in the door. He sees you, smiles, and joins you at your table.
"You look much better after a good rest," he says. His look turns serious. "I can't thank you for your help with the Redbrands enough," he says. "I had no idea Iarno had turned on us. He will be found and punished for his misdeeds," he says emphatically. "I still need to hear back from the Alliance, however, so in the meantime, I'm sure there are things you can attend to. Gundren is still missing - if you can discover the location of this castle where is supposedly is being held, and mount a rescue, you could - " His words are cut off as an older halfling woman at the next tables leans over. "Reidoth could probably help with that, Lord Sildar," she says, looking over the party with an appraising eye.
Sildar turns to the woman. "Qelline," he nods. "You think Reidoth would know the location of the castle?" he asks.
The woman nods. "If anyone would, it's him. 'Course, you gotta find him first," she says with a laugh. "Last I knew, he was headed towards Thundertree," she says. Sildar nods again and turns back to the party.
"Reidoth is druid who lives in this area. Thundertree is an abandoned village north of Phandalin. He might know the location of the castle, however, as she says, you'd have to locate him first." He frowns. "Of course, if you wanted something a little more dangerous, while I gather more information, Townmaster Wester is still looking for someone to get rid of those nasty orcs."
As he finishes speaking, the door opens and in strides a handsome half-elf with a frown on his face. His eyes search the room, landing on Sildar. He approaches the table, and with a nod to the party, begins speaking to Sildar. "Lord Sildar, I have concerning news. Some of the prospectors have told me that someone or something is digging near the old Owl Well." Sildar frowns, then shrugs.
"Why is that of concern, Daran? Aren't the prospectors digging themselves?" he asks.
"Not at the well," the man replies. "But it's not the digging that is the concern. Some of the prospectors have said they were chased away by -" he looks around and whispers, "undead." At his words, Sildar sighs. "While that is a concern," the man says, "you know that there may be remnants of magic left there from ancient times. If the undead, or whoever is responsible for them, should stumble on it - " He breaks off as Sildar nods.
"I will look into it," he says. "Thank you, Daran." The half-elf nods and heads to the bar area. "Well, it seems there is plenty of trouble to go around," he says with a half-smile. "I still need to go and check with Sister Garaela," he says.
@Iexeai : what are the coins and the jewels you mention? I dont remember...is it common loot?
@DM: what troubles came from the orcs? I simply don't remember
@dm: DO WE KNOW BY OURSELVES WHERE IS THE OWL WELL? if we do, disregard my next question
Ajax listens carefully while eating his breakfast.
He has to agree with Delg:
Yes, Delg, you are right: Gundren is also our original employer... although...undead are nasty business...and a heavy and unnatural disruption I'd love to treat (all in all it is something I have been trained to but never had the chance to use).
Moreover, anywhere we want to go, a catch at the Shrine of Luck is due: gods know we need Luck. If this sister Garaela is the priest of that shrine, I guess we can follow Sildar this morning and then decide what do (and maybe buy a potion or two there if she has any).
Sildar, sir, where is this owl weel the half-elf mentioned?
Sildar looks at Delg. "There is not a jeweler in town, if that is what you seek. You might find the Coster or Barthen's willing to trade for them, however." He turns to look at Ajax. "The well Daran mentioned is northeast of Phandalin, near the ruins of an old watchtower. It is easy to find, though several days journey from here." He frowns. "Thundertree lies in the opposite direction, though, so you will have to decide which to pursue first, if that is your want."
((When you took one of the captured men to the Town Hall, you saw a notice: Posted on a board next to the front door is a notice written in Common. It reads: "REWARD-Orcs near Wyvern Tor! Those of a mind to face the orc menace should inquire within." The notice bears the town's seal and an indecipherable signature. Townmaster Wester is offering 100gp as a reward))
"The orcs are also northeast of here, I believe," says Sildar. He looks thoughtful. "Not too far from the well Daran mentioned, if I remember correctly."
Gathering the coins, he pockets them and puts on a goofy smirk.
"Well, I don't know about you fine folks, but I certainly don't relish a clash with orcs. Honeyed words tend to go over their heads. Perhaps this Thunderhead fellow can be paid a visit?"
((Mulligan - I missed your post about the books. Two of the books are basic tomes on alchemy. The third is written in a language you don't understand.))
The party stands up and Sildar stands as well. "I guess we can go together, since I need to check in on the Sister myself," he says. He strides out the door, heading for the Shrine of Luck, which is just across from the inn.
Approaching the shrine, Sildar walks past into a building behind it. "Sister?" he calls out, knocking on the door. He waits for a moment, getting no response. "Sister?" he says again, a little more loudly.
"Come," you hear a female voice say from within. Opening the door, Sildar enters. "Sister!" he exclaims with worry. "What happened to you?"
Ajax - Stepping into the small building behind Sildar, you see a young elven woman, who is currently sporting several bandages around her arms. Sitting in a chair, she stands, wincing as she does so. "Lord Sildar," she says with a grimace. "I am fine - merely a scratch and nothing to worry about. What brings you here? Is someone injured?" She immediately turns and grabs a small bag. "Who is it?" she says. Noticing Ajax, she says, "Are you hurt?"
No, thanks, even if I was about to ask you the same, madam...especially because we have been told you are an expert at healing and we found you wounded... By the way my name is Ajax
who knows?! I left that damn wand from a previous adventure, sorry
Melkias nods and smiles at the man, his exhaustion having set in. He resigns to his room, where he takes out his lute and strums a vaguely reminiscent tune. Once he starts to get sleepy, he puts his lute nearby and falls fast asleep.

((A long rest will put the time at about 1pm in the afternoon when you wake. What would you all like to do when you wake up?))
ooc: I'd get back to Sildar to hear if he sent messages and if he have some news to tell us
Raya thanks Ajax for the coins and stuffs them into her pouch then heads to bed.
Raya wakes up well rested. She'll send messages to the group *Yawns* I could go for some food right about now. How bout it?
She'll then head downstairs and order some food while she waits for the others.
Mulligan would like to take a look at the books he found.

"Gundren is my kin. I must find him. Point me in the direction of this Reidoth and I will seek him."
As Delg speaks, he pulls his backpack onto his lap. From various pockets he pulls out coins and places them in front of each of the party.
"15 copper. 47 silver. 33 gold. Compliments of the Redbrands. I do not suppose there is a place here to sell the jewels."

ooc: ok
Changing speech, what about those orcs, are in the way to Thundertree, to the well, or somewhere else?
((@dndpro100: Part is from the Redbrands that were gambling and part from the chest of the mage.))

Smiling at Melkias, even Ajax nods. He taps with the hand on the table and stands up, reaady to go:
Yes, decided then, let's go to The Shrine of Luck, then supplies and then to this...Thunderhead !
Raya finishes her meal, pays, and ready's her belongings and heads towards the door. "Shrine of Luck, we could definitely use some."
