The party heads north out of Phandalin, following the road until you reach the Triboar Trail. From here the journey is through the wilderness as you search for Thundertree and Reidoth, the druid, looking for possible locations of Cragmaw Castle, where Gundren is rumored to be held. The trip will likely take several days as you travel through both plains and some bits of forest.
((I need marching order as you travel for the first day))
Melkias agrees to scout ahead and report back with problems. The first day of travel is relatively easy walking through the gently rolling plains north of Phandalin. Though it is somewhat dry and dusty, the party is in good spirits and eager to reach their destination. As night begins to fall, Melkias returns to the party with notice of a good camping spot up ahead. Another 10 minutes of walking and the party reaches the spot - a small hill they can place at their backs and smooth ground to set up camp.
((If you are setting a watch, let me know the order))
Delg volunteers to take the first watch and the group quickly sets up camp as night falls. The fire is crackling merrily and the rest of the party is quiet. Delg - your watch passes quickly and quietly.
Delg quietly wakes Mulligan to take the next watch.
Mulligan -
At first your watch is quiet, but after an hour or so, you begin to hear something rustling in the grass nearby. You peer into the darkness around the campfire, but don't see anything. Off in the distance, you hear the howl of wolf.
Mulligan gets up onto a knee and looks to where he heard the rustling grass. He pulls out his weapon and shield. He says: "There are twelve of us, and we're all armed. Go away."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Melkias will be sound asleep. If I need to I can make a perception check to see if Melkias wakes up from the minor commotion. Ill make it with disadvantage just in case, use whatever roll is appropriate. Perception 12)

As you stand and speak, you hear a low growl carried to you on the wind. Just then, you hear the wolf howl again in the distance. The growling stops, and then you hear the rustling again. This time, it sounds as if it is moving away from you. You stand there for a minute, waiting, peering into the darkness. You hear more faint rustling and in the swaying grass you think you see a dim shape moving away from the camp. After a few more minutes, silence.
Mulligan lowers himself down from his knee, into a seated position, satisfied that he scared off whatever it was threatening our camp. "Hm. That never works," he says to himself.
Ajax extends his lower lip, meaning nothing relevant
Melkias grins.
"Excellent, wouldn't want any ne'er-do-wells waylaying us on the road. Onward, friends, to fortune and glory, and perhaps a lass or two!"
He begins walking towards the destination of Thundertree.

Delg gives his own look around then follows.
Ajax is eager to leave, and so he does

Ooc : I propose melkias in front because of his stealth, then Ajax then Delg
One suggestion for Delg: state that you use blessings of the forge upon something, don't you?
(I agree, I will scout ahead)

"I will take first watch. As for a fire..." Delg looks around for wood. "If anyone else wants to see if there's game about." (if needed Perception: 7)
If he finds any, he'll start the fire. If he doesn't, he'll move on to grass and maybe any dung if viable.
((I don't remember long resting, so doubt I've done Blessing of the Forge. Was there an item in particular you were thinking?))
@lexeai : no worries it was just a remainder for you, put it in your weapon
((Will do it in the morning))

Mulligan can take the next watch.

Mulligan - the rest of your watch passes uneventfully.
((Is there a 3rd watch? If so, who is taking it?))
if for third watch you mean the closer to sunrise, Ajax will take it, otherwise, if there is forth, the human is pretty useless without darkvision
