AJAX
Ajax, still using his REACH weapon, launches both attacks from 10 ft then he steps back a little (ooc: so that if a wolf enters my reach I can use reaction to attack once more)
Wagner moves forward and attacks the wounded wolf. It falls limply to the ground, bleeding from various wounds. As the second wolf approaches Ajax, he swings wide and misses. Stepping back, he tries again, but the wolf dodges the blow. Kai's hands flare as magic shoots out into the side of the wolf. It yelps and looks severely injured. The final wolf lunges for Mulligan, but he quickly swings his hammer and deals a mighty blow. The wolf staggers back, but then lunges forward again.
Wolf 2 (attacking Ajax): Attack: 15 Damage: 6
Wolf 3 (attacking Mulligan): Attack: 8 Damage: 8
Both wolves miss, Ajax and Mulligan dodging their snapping jaws.
Odo takes a swing with his staff at the nearest wolf and connects with a solid thunk to its skull. It collapses under the force of the blow. Two wolves are dead; the remaining wolf still snarls and snaps. Odo swings, but the wolf jumps out the way, chain clanking behind as it moves.
Wagner, you're still up. :) Ajax on deck. One wolf left, he seems pretty injured.
Kai - as you approach the back of the cave, you notice a large rancid smelling pile of garbage. As you look up, you notice a hole in the ceiling that leads upwards. The opening is very narrow.
(( ooc: how tall is the ceiling? how hard in terms of play woudl be for one of us to climb? Frankly I don't know if in our trunks we have some nails, hammer, hook or the like to facilitate it.
Surely we have a rope: if one manages to climb he can let down the rope for the others...))
((OOC: if we notice a LOT of baddies, block the hole, set fire to the garbage, smoke them out and bottleneck them at the mouth of the cave and murderkilldeath them.))
((I'll roll for Wagner to keep things moving: 6))
Wagner: Post as soon as you are able.
Ajax - you're up. Kai - You're on deck.
