((There are a few windows on the ground floor and each room upstairs has a window.))
Toblen looks worriedly at the party. "Do you think it's a good idea to keep one of them here?" he asks nervously. "I don't want any harm to come to my family or customers," he says.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kyanite, keeping low, will go to the window and look out (Perception 7).
If he doesn't see anything, and there is time, he will cast Unseen Servant as a ritual, creating the image of himself, and have the Servant walk out into the street.
Looking out the window, Kai doesn't see anyone outside. It is getting towards dusk, but there is still enough light left to see clearly. He casts his spell and sends his Unseen Servant out into the street.
"Maybe you could take him to the TownMaster?" Toblen asks hesitantly. "There's cells there where they can keep him safely and decide what to do with him?"
Yes, Toblen, we will do it in due time. And you, my little friend, what are you doing?
ooc: if Kyanite tells us what he is doing, I'd propose we tie this foe up in the room (and we lock the room) and then go forward in the streets: we hide at the same corner I mentioned some pages ago and we send the image to and fro on that piece of street waiting for some redbrand, what do you think, can it work?
Another thing: is Odo an active player anymore, shall we recruit for another one or what?
((It does look like Odo has gone dark - no posts in the last month. So - I can recruit for another 1 or 2 players, since we were already down one, if that works for the party? Play can continue while I search, I don't think it would take long. A healer is needed, definitely - any other requests?))
Kai's illusion appears outside and is, indeed, left alone. If the captured man had a companion, he has disappeared. Toblen watches all of this unfold, wringing his hands. "It's not that we're not grateful," he says urgently. "It's just that, well," he gestures around the mostly empty room, "None of us are fighters. The TownMaster can lock him up," he says, nodding the to unconscious Redbrand.
A rather tall female Elf wearing slightly torn fine clothing, dirt in her face and leaves poking out of her shoulder length white hair approaches Mulligan.
"Hey, " addressing the group "you guys handled that guy with ease. I've been told these "Red cloaked" fellas have been causing a bit of trouble in town. I've been meaning to deal with them but it might be too difficult for one person. If you're looking to deal with these guys"Gestures to the guy in the red cloak. "would you mind if I tagged along?"
@dm: is there any little tree in the bushes behind the inn? I was thinking of getting out by the back door, tying him to the tree or to a post and then go to the red cross I ndicated pages ago: waiting there using Kyanite image as bait on the road
((There is a tree behind the inn, but it's not a large tree and it's not at all hidden. The man would be visible, unless it is completely moonless, which it currently isn't.))
As Mulligan turns to head out the door of the inn with the unconscious man over his shoulder, the door opens. It's Sildar, with a female dwarf following him. "Oh! There you are - " he cuts off suddenly as he takes in the man over Mulligan's shoulder. "Another one?" he asks in surprise. "I would have thought they would be smarter than that," he says with a grimace. "We can put him with the other one, I suppose," he says. He turns to exit the inn and then stops, seeing the dwarf.
"I almost forgot," he says ruefully. "This is Grace. She's a fine cleric and is ready to assist you in your adventures. The light shines upon us - she was wandering into town and I happened to run into her!" He begins to introduce Grace to the rest of the party, but stops when he sees the female elf. "I don't believe we've met," he says courteously. He looks at the rest of the party curiously. "Did you run into another friend?" he asks.
I turn to Mulligan "My apologies. My name is Raya. I traveled here from Waterdeep." She sticks her hand out to properly introduce herself. "I heard the woodlands around Phandelin were quite spectacular so I decided to see them for myself." Raya's disheveled appearance might suggest otherwise but her words sound quite confident.
"I've only been in town a day and already there's trouble stirring up?" Bends back slightly, gesturing to the man slumped over Mulligans shoulder. "I'm here to offer my assistance." She runs her fingers around her trusty scimitar then quickly clasps them together, standing straight.
Ajax looks at the new entries with doubt but in the end...
"if Sildar guarantees for you, I abide. Yes we do have problems with these redbrands, maybe Sildar explained that to you already? It is a problem but also an opportunity : there is a reward if we can get rid of them..."
Ooc: shall we consider we recount everything without playing it, please? I did a sum up and they can also go through the pages if they want
Sildar eyes Raya's somewhat ragged appearance, but then straightens, as if suddenly remembering his manners. "It's nice to meet you, Raya, and fortuitous. You and Grace will be worthy additions to the group, I am sure," he says. "In the meantime, let's take care of this - " he gestures to the unconscious ruffian - "and take him to the jail. I'm sure Toblen doesn't want any trouble here at the inn, and you all need to rest up before your task tomorrow." He turns to the open door and gestures for Mulligan to go through it.

Ajax understand that the innkeeper may get in trouble
He says to Kyanite
"what do you see outside my friend?"

No melee?!
OCC: I cast an illusion of me over the unseen servant.. so IT opened the door and walked out in the street.
"Well, nobody attacked the me that is out there, so I maybe we are safe to go."

"Where are we taking this one?"

Ok I d say we enter the beginning of the wood, we tie him there and we go to the red cross I have put in the map
"I've got this one, but we certainly could use the help dealing with the rest of them," Mulligan replies. "Walk with us."
Following Ajax's lead, I carry him into the woods.
