Wagner: You make it up the first 15 feet without incident. ((Another athletics check to make it the rest of the way. If successful, please indicate what you do then.))
Kai: You hear more goblin laughter (more than your illusion would account for) and you hear more sputtering. You also hear the faint sound of rushing water.
Once again, the party hears the roar of water as another flood comes washing through the caves. Anyone near the cave entrance needs to make a dex save to avoid being swept away.
Wagner: Waiting on your athletics check for the rest of the climb.
Wagner: You grit your teeth and pull yourself up by your fingernails for the last few inches, bracing yourself with your feet. Your head pops up through a small circular opening and you see a large cave, with a firepit burning across from you. There is a large furred creature yelling at a small goblin, though you don't understand what is being said. Perception check, please.
Kai: Str save to avoid being pulled out into the rushing water - adv if anyone wants to aid you.
Wagner: You squint, trying to see beyond the fire, but the rest of the cavern remains in shadows. You do see the goblin moving out of sight and the large furry creature moving towards you, muttering.
"We better think of something quick, fellas..." Odo says over the sound of rushing water while also trying to aid Kai by extending his staff again. "I don't much like our predicament at the moment..."
Kai: You lose your footing in the second rush of water and make a mad grab for Odo’s staff as you go down. Your fingers slip off the end and you scrabble to grab onto the edge of the cave walls as you are carried 10 ft down the tunnel. ((Str save, please))
Wagner: The furry creature heads towards you, but stops suddenly. It whistles, and you now see a large wolf appear from out of the shadows. It heads over towards the large creature and they both move away from you towards the fire, then turn around a bend and leave your sight.
