Viaya and Theo: It's a bit hard to spot under all the overgrown plants, but there is a drawer on the desk where the alembic sat. Inside the drawer are several notes, charts, and tables on plant growth and herbal experiments. Among the notes, one in particular sticks out to you: an antidote for the sleeping potion! The instructions appear to be simple enough. You need the leaves of three plants: rosemary, blackvine, and sundew). Viaya, after having first looked around the room with a herbologists eye, you know that all three samples of these plants are in this room. Once the leaves have been found, they are to be crushed together in a spotless, silver bowl (one is lying around in the debris of other alchemical tools), and mixed with a drop of human or animal blood. Once combined, everything is to set in sunlight for five minutes.

Theirsearch eventually turns up a drawer in the desk almost directly under the container the healing potion had been sitting in. Full of yellowed but thankfully intact papers and notes, it only takes them a few moments of pawing through to find it, a few more moments to realize what it is. A recipe for the antidote of a sleeping potion. Grinning, Viayaquickly brings it out, showing it excitedly to Theoand then to Zakon. "Look, look! This is it, this is the cure for Val! It's here, everything we need is right here."She looks around the little greenhouse, snatching up the silver bowl and pointing out the correct plants to Theoas the orc helps her gather the proper ingredients. "If these notes are right, this mixture will wake the boy with no difficulty, though I think we should hold off on mixing it up until we're out of here." Expression alight and hands moving as she speaks to emphasize her point, Viayacarefully folding the withered paper and binding it to the leaves of the herbs with a piece of twine before placing them into the bowl and settling it carefully in her pack. Smile fading slowly as she remembers the urgency of the situation, the elf straightens. "We need to get this to him, soon."
Zakon blinks at Viaya's enthusiasm. "Does the potion need to be administered right after mixing? Or can we wait and you mix it there? He's been sleeping this long - if we move quickly, we can finish exploring here and then head back to the boy?" Zakon looks around at the others, head cocked. He knew they needed to get back to the boy, but they were already here and something about this place just bothered him.
Resisting the urge to rush out of the temple with the cure in hand and a celebratory spring her step, Viayaforces herself to pull her enthusiasm back and consider what Zakon is saying. Aware that her reaction likely seems...out of character. Had in fact reacted more strongly more strongly than she'd meant to. It's just...she's felt so powerless since the attack in Kolovoro. For awhile before that even. This packet of old paper and leaves is the only bit of good she's been able to effect in the world for far too long. But as much as she wants to leave and play her part in reuniting a family, the gnome is right. There's all the rest of the temple to explore. "It needs daylight." The elf replies after a moment, ducking her head. "But I suppose we could...should finish clearing the place before heading back. I just don't want to leave him like that much longer if we don't have to."

Theo sees the conflict written on Viaya's face as she struggles decide whether they should leave the temple to save the child. Theo hopes that it is not an either or proposition.
"We should check the next room then. If we have to we can leave, attend the child, then return to this place. The evil here must not be allowed to persist."
"I'd rather keep exploring to be honest..."Kelvin begins with a glance at his three companions. "I'm as eager as anyone to save the child, but something is clearly afoot here, wouldn't we be remiss to not find out everything we can before administering this ancient recipe to Val? Let's just be quick about it, time is clearly of the essence." Following behind Zakon, Kelvin looks straight over the rogue's gnomish stature.

"We're here already." Viaya relents. "AndZakonis right about the boy's condition being unlikely to change. We should finish clearing the temple. If only to make sure it or worse doesn't happen to anyone else again." Straightening, the instructions for the antidote now tucked safely in her pack along with the spell scrolls she found earlier, the elf follows the gnome into the hall. Nodding to Theoas she goes. Kelvinis still in the hall but has been listening to their conversation at least, if his opinion is anything to go by. Viayadoesn't argue with the sorcerer, letting him fall into step behind Zakonand hanging back as they both peer into the next room. Wondering what other mysteries this place has for them and hoping they prove to be more than waste of time.

Theo feels a boost of confidence from Viaya's success. Perhaps our good luck will hold. As they approach the next door, he silently offers them guidance in unlocking the door or searching for more traps.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zakon steps up to look at the locked door. After the incident with the spear, he's not taking any chances, searching to make sure it isn't trapped as well.
With ease and finesse, Zakon is able to unlock the door. Stepping in, it feels a little underwhelming after everything else you've seen so far. A couple of small wooden desks line the walls of this dusty chamber, with blank paper neatly stacked to one side. In one corner of the room sits a small ironbound chest. There is another door at the other end of the room.

"Good work Zakon!"Kelvin walks up and inspects the desks curiously, peering suspiciously at the pile of blank papers. "A writing room across the hall from the bedchambers, with no writing? I've half a mind to gather up anything we find in our last-minute explorations and cast a spell to inspect them all for magic."He rifles through the blank pages.

Theo and Viaya collect all the necessary items and the notes to make the antidote. Theo will assist if necessary.
