Viaya: The first door to your right in the hall (F4) is locked. The second door you check (F1) opens with ease. However, upon opening, you hear a high-pitched ringing. This must've been some sort of alarm system for the zombies you already took care of the day before, as nothing else in the temple seems to react to the sound.
Zakon:As you attempt to open the first door on the left (G4), a spear begins to pop out of the door frame. Make a dexterity check, please. The second door is already slightly open.

Zakon opens the door slowly, alert for any dangers. As the door creeps open, he reacts as a spear begins to appear. He vaguely registers the high-pitched ringing, his focus on the possible trap.
Theo spins in every direction he can with his hammer out and shield up. Waiting for the onslaught of the undead. Nothing comes. More tricks?he wonders.
"Watch out for more traps." he can't help himself from saying. When Zakon and Viaya turn to glare at him he offers a weak smile as an apology and a nod of encouragement. guidance
Viayafeels a bit foolish for missing the door alarm but feels progressively less so as the ringing continues and then fades with no response. It seems they've vanquished all the undead at least. Zakon'snimble avoidance of the arrow trap makes her feel even better. Tricky as this place might be, it's not defeated them so far, and with three doors now open out of the four left on this floor they're even closer to finishing this. Though the she elfdoes shoot Theoa sardonic glance as he warns them to watch out for traps, shedoesn't let the look linger. "I've got one locked over here." She tells the others. "But we might as well check the others before fiddling with that." Drawing her daggers, Viayapushes open the door that had been alarmed (F1?) with her foot and peers into the room beyond.

Kelvin sucks air through his teeth as Zakon avoids the trap by the skin of his, rubbing his ears with a painful wince on his face. He darts up behind Viaya as she opens the door to one of the rooms, content to peer over the shoulder of one of the older party members.
Bright lights flood from two glowing globes hanging from the ceiling and a verdant, earthy scent wafts out of this room. Plants and creepers have overgrown the chamber, covering every available surface. Shattered glass covers the floor. On one table an intact alembic still stands, nestled by the green fronds, containing an effervescing pink liquid.

Viayafollows the others in as they enter the first room. Eyeing the plants curiously. "It's like a greenhouse."She says. "My father keeps one but it's outside and he uses sunlight and specially treated glass, not whatever these are." The elf glances up at the strange lights before looking back down at the only intact piece of equipment and the liquid it contains. Bending down to inspect it more closely.
Nature Check: 21
I figured it was worth a shot and I got a natural 20! XD
Viaya: Experience with plant-life and the feel of the light from the globes on your skin, you are able to glean a few ideas. This is some kind of an indoor herbology lab. Whoever used it, likely one of the acolytes, probably had the intention of studying different plants or crafting natural potions. The light from the globes is an artificial sunlight so that the plant specimens can grow. It definitely is useful, considering the dark and dry atmosphere of these temples. Inspecting the liquid, it is particularly familiar. Given some of the scents, it's pretty easy to discern that it's a natural healing salve, no different than an ordinary healing potion.
If you have a container to carry it in, it's a free healing potion.

"Maybe you can find some equipment in here to take it with us? Otherwise be careful not to spill it!" Theo relaxes just a bit. Nothing tried to kill him in this room (yet) and he again dispensed useful advice.
That's a great find, hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! Kelvin does have an empty waterskin, not sure if it's the thing for this.
"Good luck with that,"the silver-scaled sorcerer remarks to Viaya. "I figure it's magical is all I've got. It's odd, I would've thought I'd recognize the arcane..."Kelvin pauses, his ego about his training knocked down another slight notch. He walks slowly around the greenhouse, taking in half-breaths without noticing it. Examining the light-globes curiously, he turns and continues speaking. "Not much of the herbalist myself, but this room seems just the thing for elves involved in magical rituals, I'm sure they had all sorts of tinctures they'd make with these plants."He pauses awkwardly, looking at Viaya, almost as if he doesn't want to offend by talking about the elves' ways. He turns to Zakonand Theo. "If neither of you see another door in here I'm going to get some air, it's dank in here..." He steps out, catching his breath, and waits to see if the party has anything else they want to do in the plant room before continuing their exploration.

Had a pretty okay weekend. :) How about you? And a waterskin might be the only option honestly, lol. Viaya doesn't have anything like that.
Something about the look and the smell of the liquid coupled with the handful of plants she's able to identify clicks something together in Viaya'smind and she smiles, straightening. "It's a simple healing potion."The elf announces. "Nothing too terribly complicated but still useful if we can find something to put it in." She nods to Theo, glancing askance at Kelvinas he speaks, some of that cocky attitude of histhat had so irked her yesterday making an unfortunate return it seems. "Herbalism is a science more than a magic but the two can be quite potent when combined."The elf says simply, narrowing her eyes at the sorcerer'sback as he turns to leave. "And, as I said, useful. Does anyone have an extra vial or something similar? I'd like to collect this. Mostly for youTheo." She lets her expression soften as she looks to the orc. "Your healing spells could mean the difference between life and death for any of us. I'd like to have some kind of insurance policy to make sure you can keep using them next time we get into a fight."

Theo nods in agreement. "That is quite wise Viaya. We should take the herbal potion with us." He looks around the greenhouse room for any jars or bottles. "Perhaps we can make it out of here without anymore fighting?" Theo, the war priest, chuckles a bit to himself. "without fighting." He'd always had the best sense of humor in his clan.
Zakon nods at Viaya. "Good thinking, lass. And aye, a waterskin would work. The healing potion is harder to come by than water right now." He immediately dumps his waterskin on some of the plants, not wanting the water to go to waste. He shakes it out, then hands it to Viaya. "Here ye go, lass."
Sorry, for some weird reason, I wasn't getting notifications for all of you're posts.
With some quick thinking, the team is able to secure a little bonus they had not planned on by taking the healing potion with them. Looking at all the plants, there are several specimens growing all over. It probably was once an organized herbology lab before all the plants began to overtake the room.
Anything else anyone wants to check out in here? Investigation checks are still up for grabs.

Nimbly avoiding the trap by a hair, Zakon is glad to come out of it with his wrist still intact. Eventually, the ringing from the door dies down.
So, three of the doors are unlocked. Which one first? F1, G1, or G4?
