[Other than playing these sort of games, I don't think there'll be too much. I rolled for some events, but nothing significant happened, so those are just being described below.]
Three days pass with no significant events. A large chunk of rock almost comes up on the ship too fast to be avoided, but with some deft maneuvering from Captain Seafoam's first mate, the rock was easily avoided. Every so often, someone reported seeing a sahuagin in the water alongside the ship, but when investigated by the crew at large, nothing was there. Your first stop isn't Rotona Island itself, but instead, a much smaller island called Oakbrook Isle. The island's namesake, a river running through an oak forest, acted as an entry point for the ship's longboats.
"Everyone who wants to sleep on solid land can hop in the longboats and set yourselves rowing for the shore. We'll be picking up something here, but I'm just as much in the dark as you are as to what it is," Captain Seafoam called out to the crew. "Magister Albrecht here will be accompanying you. I will be staying here tonight." With that, Seafoam descended below deck as the loxodon climbed into one of the boats being lowered into the water.
An excellent idea! Dominique agrees. He grabs his bow and buckles his blade. Some useful items for if they need to make camp and the spear of the sahuagin they fought. Ma'am captain, D company volunteers to escort the Magister on his retrieval mission. A quick salute amphisises his eager duty fullness.
A rainbow colored Aarakocra crawls up from below decks. "We're stopped? We can be on land?" She pulls herself up on the door frame and makes her way over to the longboat. "I'm Pazumin and I hate boats, absolutely no control over movement."

Saryn heads back up onto the deck. Having been asleep for much of the journey here. Hearing about going ashore she jumps into the group for the longboat. You're not trying to leave with out me are you?
Retrieval Party (Irostine, Igden, Enna, Val, Dominique, Pazumin, Whistle, Saryn, Auoogan) [Auoogan hasn't responded, so for now, he's on the boat with any other people who join.] (It's just everyone)
The longboats are lowered into the water, and you set off towards the island. The water is crystal clear, allowing you to see the brightly colored fish in the water. After a bit of rowing, you touchdown on the beach of Oakbrook Isle, right along the mouth of the river. The loxodon, now known to you as Magister Albrecht, emerges from his longboat, and addresses the crew that had come with him in a deep, slow voice. "Begin setting up camp. I will come around in a moment to collect volunteers for my purposes." As he lumbers away, the crew begins to drag the longboats further up the beach and the unpacking process of the tents. When the camp is well underway, Magister Albrecht collects each of you, one by one, and pulls you aside. "I require you to defend me. We will be entering an ancient ruin on this island, and it is mostly underground. I tell you this so you may be prepared for whatever was left behind. In this ruin is a key to what we are going to retrieve on Rotona Island. That is all you need to know. Knowing more... may be dangerous." He pauses for a moment, allowing you all to respond.

"Aye aye Captain!" Irostine gives a slight smirk and hops on a boat, happy to see a change of scenery.
Hoping for some more action Enna heads to a longboat.
This could be fun.

Igden longs for solid ground and the feel of rock again. He settles into one of the longboats as well.
This will be better than sleeping on a boat.
Val gets into the long boat as well “A Change of scenery would be nice!”

Whistle makes her way on to the longboat, offering a quick thanks to Amsyn for the safe journey so far.
"Iro, I think that you should take point here, you strike me as a gentleman who has a good eye for avoiding danger." She suggests.
She makes her way to port-side, picking up an oar and settling herself in just behind the forward-most seats, keeping her loaded crossbow nearby.

"Very well" Irostine goes to sit at the tip of the boat and checks the horizon for anything suspicious.

Ooc:. Running out of food and water. Adrift for days in a long boat.

(Oh, I thought it was assumed that Auoogan would be joining. In which case, Auoogan will come too.)
As he approaches Saryn stop digging in the sand and listens. Are we going soon or can I keep looking for shells?
"Have you any idea what may await us in this ruin of yours, Magister Albrecht?" Whistle asks cautiously, preparing her things for the journey.
