Darion you start off in a tavern in Neverwinter, the tavern is called the board Head inn there are seven tables arranged in two lines there is also a bar area with stools to sit at and a staircase leading to the second floor.
The room smells of pinewood and cider, and on a small stage is a hard hard playing upbeat music, you were called to Neverwinter because someone needed an adventurer and sent you a letter, asking for you to meet them here.
A short man dressed in a black suit walks in stands in the doorway and looks around he turns and sees you and walks over and says. "Hello Darion my name is Stuart and I am glad to see that you answered my letter".
Retirement really can be boring sometimes. I thought a little excitement might be just what I need. Please have a seat. the ale here is...well it's shit but it's still ale. And the music is quite good.
I trow a quick smile at the musician on stage and raise my glass their way. Then wave a server over.
Darion gives a chuckle at the cheeky answer. I guess that leaves us with the matter of payment. How is this venture of yours supposed to make money and how much of it do you plan to give to me?
"well the people that give us the missions will be paying you and you will bring the money back to the guild and then we can discuss the payment you could possibly get 30% and then the rest will go to upgrading things around the guild.
I'm in, with a few conditions. we should not limit ourselves to only helping those that can afford to pay. Many of those that need help in the world are also unable to pay for that help. As such, at least one out of every 5 missions this guild takes should be for those who cannot afford to pay. Also the pay for missions will be split evenly between all members who go on the mission from 50% of what the guild charges. All members will be expected to abide by the same 1 to 5 rate of unpaid missions, and the guild will see to the well being of any family left behind by a member who doesn't survive a mission. This can obviously all be revisited as things go but I think will work well to start. What do you say Stuart? Have we got a deal?
Wonderful! Let’s celebrate this new guild by drinking far to much and seeing if we can get that young musician to come to my room tonight! In the morning we can get to work. Unless you have some more urgent business we should attend to?
Ok thanks I just need to finish setting up the quest.
Great. Are you going to have a campaign to join on here?

I don't have a campaign for you but I might do so later if need be.

Anyway what sort of trouble do you have Stuart?
"Well I'm trying to make a guild and I have called you to maybe join, I have a few other members but I thought having a veteran would be beneficial".
Interesting. And what would be the focus of this guild?
"To help people. We will start off with small missions and get to harder ones along the way".
And you want me to??? Test recruits? Lead a team? Solo missions? Mascot?
"yes, yes, yes, no".

*Sorry I didn't have internet access*
Stuart says "I'm up for that." He calls the barmaid over and orders a round of drinks "It's on me".
Do I get the sense that Stuart is being upfront about his plans?
