Step after cautious step, you move forward; with the light, you all see well, and Zhudala also has a clear view of the maze of tunnels as she moves through them.
Where you are walking, you see only featureless walls, old metal supports, rock faces that have been mined to exhaustion before the miners moved on. The tunnel continues ahead to the north.
Zhudala sees more; she can make out a flight of steps leading up north of where she is standing, and to the east a door set into the wall.
OOC: I love the fact that we are the most democratic adventuring party in all of Neverwinter but I think we need to pick someone to lead otherwise it's gunna take us a fortnight to round a corner.
The tunnel openings to the west do seem to lead to dead ends and nothing more, but you would have to travel down them a little to be completely sure.
The party take a turn and heads east, following Zhudala and getting closer to the door. Zhudala crawls up, and sees (or rather, Incantis sees through her eyes) that the door is ajar very slightly.
Incantis, you can hear something coming from the other side of the door. It takes you a few moments to make sense of the sound; something is crunching, or being crunched.
Dekhan, you move up to Strix. There doesn't appear to be any reaction from beyond the door. You too can now both hear the odd crunching... munching?... sound.

Which way are you (and Zhudala) headed? Are you keeping together, and in the marching order on the map?
Dekhan will stay towards the front, close enough to rush into a fight but far enough to let the stealthy be stealthy.
Strix happy to be Stonebearer (he loses the least by having a hand full) up front.

Varinth will be at the back, following.
Dekhan picks up a stone, tosses it in the air catches, and tosses it to Strix as it winks into light
Do we want to proceed up the straight shot and have Zhudie scurry around the maze a bit?
Also I'm happy with that map order if Strix is lightbearer.
Incantis, half-elf warlock (great old one) 4/bard 1 ● Thorok Earthhand, hill dwarf mountain druid 6/grave cleric 2
Cragmyre Ironseed, earth genasi ancestral barbarian 3 ● Cyrus Natriallae, aquatic half-elf warlock of the deep 3
(I can't see the map, I'm at work. You'd tell me if I was standing on top of a spike pit, wouldn't you?
Us going up the middle slow and careful with Zhudie covering our flanks sounds pretty good.)

Dekhan will follow at a distance behind Strix, relying on him to signal when it’s appropriate for Dek to move forward.
Scupper keeps to the middle. Bow at the ready.

Scupper nudges the party forward
"Right lads. Let's open the door since it's likely te bite us in the ass if we pass it."
Incantis nods agreeably, holding Vaz by the shoulder and warging into Zhudala. She scuttles to the door and listens closely.
Perception: 15
Am I correct in assuming that those two tunnel fragments on the far left lead to dead ends?

As quietly as he can, Strix whispers "Might be good time use tiny spider..."

Dekhan will move slowly and quietly up next to Strix.
Dekhan, Strix and anyone else who's moving within two squares (20 feet) of the doorway, please give me a Stealth check.

If that's a natural 1, I guess I was asking for it :D

stealth 7 not bad for a guy in scale mail. And he is tiptoeing his heart out right now.
