If Incantis tries to escape the grapple hold, that will happen on his turn. So Strix is taking the shove action. Incantis, roll Athletics or Acrobatics if you intend to resist.

Incantis tries to wriggle free, but stays his hand somewhat, the amulet not yet removed from his neck. It's meant to happen Strix, you have to trust me!

(Yes, I think you just stayed standing up with that roll, it resisted my Prone push. You're not free of the grapple, that's an action for your turn - your Acro/Ath vs my Ath. OOC - player to player, do you know what will happen and you're not telling us? Or do you not know but you know it's what your patron wants? Would you tell me if you knew? And would I believe it was the truth if you did? God damn it this is a good McGuffin, Steve - is it in the book?)

With his action, Incantis is going to try to give the amulet to Zhudala.

Incantis resists the shove, but is still grappled, able to act but not to move.
Incantis's turn comes; he removes the amulet from around his neck and gives it to Zhudala. (I'm tempted to say it's a free action/interaction with an object, but yes, I think that given that you are wearing it and have to take it off, yes it's a full action. You still have a bonus action if you wish to use it.
Otherwise, Scupper is up.
Scupper takes off his cloak and throws it over the forge fire. If possible, he'd like to use Control Flame to reduce the fire size in case it can burn through.

Scupper, the cloak doesn't burn and it doesn't put out the magical flame; you can see it still dancing merrily below the cloak, and green light escapes around the edges.

Dekhan moves to the brazier and backs Scuppers play by placing his shield over the cloak. I’m sorry, Cantis, we can’t put the amulet in the flames until we know. Dekhan will rack his brain trying to extrapolate what would happen if the amulet went into the brazier, pulling from his limited arcane knowledge, the tone and content of what the dark elf said, and what could be compelling Incantis to do it. arcana ? 0
Dekhan, if this is the actual Forge of Spells as it seems to be, then you know that its power related to the creation and enhancement of magical items. You don't really know what Incantis' amulet is or does, so you can't say how it will be enhanced.
Dekhan places his shield over the cloak and into the brazier; it doesn't seem to react.
Zhudala is up.
Varinth sits cross legged on one of the tables. He gets out his skin and takes a swig, enthralled in the turn of events.

Seeing no opportunity to get the amulet to the brazier as it's covered with Scupper's cloak and Dekhan's shield, Zhudala disappears, taking the amulet with her.
