Atticus passes up the armor and weapons. He grabs the spell scroll and unrolls it to see what new magic can be learned.

If no objections, I could also use a potion. Wizards aren’t known for being very stout. 

Imras looks at the chest, seeing several items of interest, so he waits to see what others ar einterested in.

(Imras can make use of the shortsword, studded leather armor, or cloak of elvenkind.  What I end up getting might affect my attribute/feat choice for level 4)

"I'm afraid I can't wear armor or wield many weapons. I'll take the quarterstaff if no one else wants it."

Atticus It is a Spell scroll containing the 3rd level spell, Fireball. (Just for the sake of it, we'll say you have the Ink and paper required to transcribe the spell into your spellbook if you wish.)

Felicity takes the Quarterstaff. 

Imras is looking at the Flame tongue short sword, Studded armor and the Cloak of Elvenkind. (I'd say it would be the most beneficial for Imras to take the cloak, being all sneaky sneaky.)

As for the Shortsword, It is a Light weapon so technically speaking only Imras could wield it and use his proficiency.

The Chain mail could be taken by Hawk or Tazla.

The Studded leather could be taken by anyone.

OCc: As a fighter, I am proficient in all weapons. Sot technically I can use the Flame Tong Sword as well. 

Hawk walks up to the chest and looks inside. Looking at the items it became clear to him what was the best pieces. His eye however turned toward the magnificent sword. He could feel the magic fowing from it. He could practically smell the flames. 

"Is that a magical sword of fire? I would desire such a item. The magical fire could prove useful in the challenges to come. That being said I was relatively useless in the last challenge. As a result I will seed such a item over to anyone else who needs it. I already have magic enough with the spells I have learned. Though i don't think I need to tell you all that I am no wizard. I know a bit.If no one disagrees I will take the flame sword. If not I will settle for whatever is left. I do however think our wizard friend should have the potions. It will do well for us to keep him on his feet. A wizard can be the difference between  life and death."

 OOC: No word from out Paladin I'm guessing? As for the gear I think we're all set? Atticus has the potions and the scroll, Felicity has the staff, Hawk can take the chain mail, Imras can take the cloak and studded leather- the only question is does Hawk or Imras want the shortsword? Once that's settled I think we're ready to move forward?

(If hawk wants the sword that's fine, especially if I'm already taking the cloak and studded leather armor.  Seems a bit greedy to ask for the sword too :P.  Just need to know one way or the other since if I DO have the sword, I'll take the dual wielding feat at level 4.  Otherwise, I'll be taking something else :P)

So hawk has the Flame tounge longsword.

With you all rested up and freshly geared you venture into the New hole. The same effect washes over each one of you, A brief moment of pure darkness followed by finding yourself on ground.

This new chamber looks much more like a natural cave, Stalagtites line the ceiling and stalagmites jut up from the ground in various places. Soft dirt coats the floor as you examine this new area. Roughly 20 feet high and 30 feet wide this is a small cave.

The first thing you notice, Other then a single torch. This cave is pitch black. So people with out Darkvision cant really see anything.

The torch you see is affixed to a table, about 10 feet from where you stand. Standing to the table with their back to you. You see a humanoid figure raise a knife of some kind and slam it down onto the table. While you cant see what they have cut you do hear the sound of bones snapping and breaking. Garbed in heavy plate armor with a large sword within reaching distance.

Imras and Felicity, you both see another individual, sat 5 feet to the left side of the table. The persons silhouette looks odd, Like they have a beak of some sort. They appear to be thumbing threw a book.

Imras peers at the two figures for a moment, trying to figure out what might be going on.  Then, keeping the hood of his cloak up, he quietly steps forwards and attempts to get close enough to grab the sword without being noticed and back away again, in case it comes to a fight.

Okay, Neither seem to notice you Imras as you slink around a stalagmite and crouch into the shadows.

You manage to get right upto the table, Now that you are closer you can see that this individual is massive. Easily 8 feet tall and has arms like tree trunks, capable of wielding the Greatsword. Red scales cover the individual from what you can see, glancing at their face you can see the Left eye has a scar starting above the brow and ending at the jaw along its scales, The eye it passes is shut and seemingly unusable. Gripping the hilt of the greatsword; You tug at it and the blade budges a centimeter, This is a heavy blade. Now that you are close to it, You can see that the actual blade itself is nearly 6 feet long from the guard. It looks very well made and razor sharp.

You hear the sound of the book shut as the other figure stands from their chair. "It seems we have Guests Sa'ed, Mind your blade my friend." (Passive perception on the sitting figure is 19, They saw you attempt to grab the blade.) 

You slink back into the shadows Just as the Hulking Dragonborn grabs the hilt of the sword and heaves it onto his shoulder. "What was that Skol? The blade is fine." The Dragonborn snarls in Draconic, Which Felicity is the only one who understands. 

After slimming back to the read of the group behind the others, Imras speaks up, “Hello. Who are you?”

Both individuals tense up for a moment. The Larger one with the sword on his shoulder turns first. He is indeed a Red Dragonborn with only one eye. Battlescars line his face and plate armor as he snarls. "Now now Sa'ed thats no way to greet our guests." The other figure steps into the light. This one is much thinner and smaller then the Dragonborn, Covered head to toe in black leather armor, a simple black cloak hangs from their shoulder. Their face is covered by a birdlike mask with a pair of dark lenses to see threw. 

"Well what do we have here, I wasnt aware that we were expecting guests or I would've had Sa'ed lay some food out." The Black garbed figured speaks, While the voice is muffled by the mask it is a Feminine voice. 

The figure steps to the table and Lays the book onto it. "Oh we are just humble acolytes, Awaiting the Wardens call." She traces her gloved fingers along the Dragonborns pauldron. "Make it quick dear, Im famished." With that there is a dull boom as the figure is engulfed by a mix of Purplish-silver energy and vanishes from the cave. Braziers against the back wall suddenly light with flame, Filling the chamber with torch light. Felicity and imras, You can both see the remains of some humanoid on the table, various parts of the body has been hacked threw and look slightly chewed on.

The Dragonborn lets a puff of fire loose from his Nostrils and snarls, Bringing the blade into a offensive position.

Just to get the ball rolling, Im going to roll Everyones initiative after this fight. Takes a little long too get things started. Also rolling Hawks and Imras' initiative for this encounter.

Sa'ed, With his blade in a Offensive position. Examines the group and determines Hawk is his biggest threat at the moment.

As a Bonus action he Stops momentarily and a faint shimmer surrounds him. 

He moves 10 feet to get into Melee range with Hawk.

He then swings the Mighty greatsword twice at the Orc.

Attack 1: 10 Damage: 10 Slashing Damage.

Attack 2: 26 Damage: 12 Slashing Damage
