As the two of you enter the room the mace hanging on the wall suddenly begins to rattle and shake, then suddenly flies off the way heading toward Lebenha. Out of the corner of Alarien's eye he spots some movement and turns in time to see a rapier hurtling towards him.
Lebenha's Perception roll and Alarien's natural Ranger alertness keep you both from being surprised. You can attempt to retreat, engage in combat with the flying weapons, or attempt something else?
*If you choose to engage in combat please roll Initiative*

As for me, I choose to believe that an extinct thunder lizard is running a game of Dungeons & Dragons via Twitter!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Alerian will use his readied action to try and shoot the rapier. Attack - 18. Initiative: 17. Following round will be spent trying to back out of the room.)
Grishkar Darkmoor, Necromancer of Nerull the Despiser Kelvin Rabbitfoot, Diviner, con artist, always hunting for a good sale Bründir Halfshield, Valor Bard, three-time Sheercleft Drinking Competition Champion, Hometown hero

Alarien's arrow misses it's mark as the rapier makes its lunge toward him.
To Hit: 5
But his quick reflexes allow him to side step the blow. Meanwhile Lebenha's tumbles backwards as the mace swings towards her head
To Hit: 7 ; 8
But the nimble rogue is able to roll out of the room, escaping the maces blow. Alarien jumps out of the room a split second later. Both weapons fly towards you but suddenly stop at the threshold of the door, hover for a brief instant, then fall to the floor with a loud clang.
Asgar: You can hear the sound of thumps and clangs coming from upstairs.
(I'd like to try and take my bow and drag the two weapons out of the room. If they can exit the room, it's time to go WAY back to my days playing Tank in MMORPGs and start "pulling the room", so to speak.)

Asgar gently lays down Thieven's head on the floor and whispers "Don't go anywhere, I'll be right back... Probably..." and goes out into the room at the foot of the stairs. Whispers loudly up to the two "Is everything all right up there? Need any help?"

"I.. I can't believe this. Have you seen that? " she says to Alarien in an obvious rethoric question " Godness it almost smash my head like those others. Can you pull it out?" She asks when she sees waht Alarien is trying to do.
It takes several attempts but Alarien does manage to eventually drag the mace out of the room. However, the rapier lies out of reach unless he crosses the threshold and enters the room.

"Well there's one. Let's see..." Alerian stands on the threshold and begins probing into the room. First a hand, then an arm, gradually trying to determine what sets off the trap. (And standing ready to jump back through the door of course)

While Alerian tries that Lebenha tries to take a look and count how many more weapons are in the room and if there is any sign or symbol that could help them deactivate this trap.
Aladdin is able to get all the way through the threshold and yet all the weapons remain motionless. And Lebenha can easily count well above the four weapons still on the wall.
Aladdin, do you wish to proceed further into.the room, retreat and the other door, try the stairs, return back downstairs, or do something else?

We are still playing, I haven't been very stern on pacing and posting and I have been waiting on everyone to post. But if you all feel I need to speed things up and not wait for everyone then let me know. I have never done an online game before so the pacing and such are all new to me.
