"I can do that," Wormsquirt says nodding. "And I promise, no tricks this time." he adds with a wink. "Could you please cover that hammer of your's a bit Mysti? I can see better without it." Wormsquirt creeps forward slowly, fading from everyone's sight in short order.
Wormsquirt makes his way into the passage and within a few seconds disappears as he scrambles his way around boulders. He is being pretty stealthy so after he moves around the first turn you can't see or hear him.

After a seemingly short amount of time Wormsquirt returns. "The openeing goes through some rock scramble about the length of a carrion crawler and varies in size most of you will be squeezing to get through. I found signs of an old trap, but its so old its non-functional. The tunnel ends at a pit about five of me deep. There's a primitive ladder going down to the bottom. Looks like some armor, swords, and loose coin down there. I didn't want to chance going down without a spotter."
"I think I can go check the other cavern for the time being. I hope my stealth hasn't rusted out yet". Belialuin tries to go to the other cavern that was not explored yet. Stealthily looking for traps and anything interesting.
Checking the other passage you find more gnoll remains and another larger open area that looks like it was a camp of sorts some time ago. There are some remnants of sleeping areas and sections that are divided off by basically stick walls lashes together with rope.
Neither of you see any traps but, Belialuin, with your high perception roll you see a slab of rock that looks out of place along one of the walls.
Can I squeeze through to the place Wormsquirt came back from, and help lower him down to pick up the goodies? If I fit? As a dwarf in chainmail, I imagine I'm pretty wide.
Yeah you can fit. Everyone would be able to work ththey' way in if they wanted to but it would be pretty hairy in some places. You wouldn't have much trouble. Talking to Wormsquirt about it there will be a couple tight spots but you'll be fine.
Thorum will bonus action move hunter's mark to the skeleton attacking Roger and loose an arrow.
Attack: 26 Damage: 10

That takes us out of initiative.
So now you're in a very stinky cavern with decomposed gnolls and 5 piles of skeleton bones in various states of being held together, or not.
