Ooc: oh shit vicious bushes here they come! Does vail also notice anything in particular?

ooc: Only Tauriel has seen anything at this point. Everyone else is asleep on her watch. I probably should have put that in a spoiler for her but I was on my phone so it's a pita to do that.

Sinjin had rolled his pretty lavish bedroll out. It seemed to be stuffed with some sort of down and had a nice silken top, while the bottom was tough leather. The old wizard took his headgear off before laying down for a well needed rest. He snored lightly, his pointed hat over his face, and arms folded over his chest. 

"HEY YOU! Yeah the shrub over there! C'mere I didn't know plants could move!" she yells while waving over in the direction she saw movement.

The party is startled awake by Felicity yelling out to a shrub.

Everyone on waking can give me perception checks if they are looking for what Felicity is yelling at.

She swears that a group of bushes she's pointing to has moved closer.

However, you looking at them just see a group of bushes. Some dead, some with leaves but still just some bushes.

Tordal, you coming awake you also look to where everyone is looking but see the same thing. A group of bushes. Some dead, some with leaves but still just some bushes.

*Tauriel* will grab the Javelin the Tiefling is tied to and begin waving him around like an improvised Greataxe. "Come out and state your business or you and the Tiefling are gonna get it!"

 “Are you alright? There’s nothing over there.”

Vail unassumingly begins to walk towards the “moving bushes”

OOC: depending on how far they are.

Vail. Update your sheet with a short rest recovering your 1d10+2 HP. You're going to need it in a sec.

When you get within 5' of the bushes the ones without leaves spring to life. There are 4 of them.

(Is it okay if I treat the Tiefling as an improvised weapon like a Greatclub? I'm holding it with two hands)

Tauriel enters a Rage because their sleep was interrupted. In a high pitched voice she screams, "Aaaaah! Demon plants! Go back to whence you came!"

And she swings with the Tiefling on a stick (treating it as a simple improvised weapon). Attack: 18 Damage: 13

Haha! Sure, you can use the tiefling club. You are using a thrown weapon as a melee weapon though so the damage would be 1d4. You don't have to re-roll though because these guys only have 4hp so no matter what you roll with your dmg+ you'd kill it.

Tauriel adjusts her grip on the Javelin and using it like a Tiefling club swings it into the walking bush KILLING IT and smashing it into kindling.

Next up is Oslamir and Vail.

Ooc - do we all get showe rest regeneration or just Vail?

(Everyone would have gained at least a short rest by this point.  Sorry, I had only mentioned it to Vail because there was a chance he would have been attacked by all 4 depending on initiatives)

Oslamir grabs his crossbow and fires a crossbow bolt into one of the bushes.

You fire your crossbow but the bolt passes through the spindly branches.

Vail is next.
