Bobbin hearing the practicing looks outside "Ha, finally someone actually training. Well why are you shadow boxing Rhogar. Don't worry I will restore you both before you depart." Rubbing his hands together he says "This should be a good match. Attack in earnest! Don't hold anything back!"
He takes the stance of a sensei starting a sparring match "BEGIN"
Tauriel Initiative: 11
Rohgar Initiative: 5
Looking over his shoulder he says "Anyone care for a little wager? I have a silver on the Minotaur"
OOC: AAAAAA Sorry i had other stuff going on! Nuovis gave an amused nod and she pulled a silver piece out of her coin pouch that was attached to her belt. "For the sake of the gamble, I'll put a silver on Rhogar!" she chimed in from the side lines, having taken a seat in the grass to do some maintenance on her instruments before their departure.
Blobbin starts wandering his way around the courtyard also taunting "What's wrong Rhogar? You don't have some misplaced honor against striking a woman do you?"
Blobbin yells out "Very fine strike Rhogar! Good hit!"
Ooc: couple things for you to be aware of. That attack can stay how it is but once in melee (5') of Tauriel you attack at disadvantage with a lance. Also unless mounted it is 2 handed and you cannot be holding your shield so you're ac will drop to 16. Unless I missed something in your abilities that would allow you to wield it 1 handed
As you are watching the sparring match you hear someone calling out "Tordal? Tordal is that you?" and you see all see a human walking in the front gate.
Tordal, you recognize you're friend Vail immediately and can't help but wonder why he's here?
Vail? What are you doing here? I told nobody to follow me... It appears we have been brought back together for a reason though. We are on our way to Okcho, a nearby town, to investigate the disappearance of a number of trade caravans and we could use your strength should we run into danger.
Tauriel lands a mighty blow biting deep into Roghar. Blobbin cheers and claps "Well done! Tauriel!"
Hearing the voice call out he turns to see the newcomer walking into his gate. "Hmmm, a friend of yours Tordal? You don't have some kind of trouble following you do you?"
Vail saunters up slowly. “Ah Tordal! I thought I recognized your voice. I haven’t seen you... well since I was last at the temple. That was, maybe four years ago?”
He outstretches his hand for a shake, you can smell the stale booze on his breath and his blue eyes look hollow.
”Who are your friends mate? What are you doing here?”
Tordal returns the hand shake firmly with his thick dwarven hand
It has indeed been some time Vail. I trust you have been well?
These here are our new friends...
After taking a moment to introduce Vail to the group he turns to Blobbin before continuing
Quite the opposite, my friend. A roving gang sacked our village of Her Todir and razed the temple to the ground. Apollo has spoken to me and I come now as his messenger. Let it be known that I will shine the great Light of Apollo in the darkest of corners and burn the evil from this land so that no others may suffer the way we have.
“I’m about as well as you can be without more than a single copper in your pocket.... but the temple at Her Todir is gone?! And the town itself pillaged? I hadn’t realized that, when did this happen?
More so on the aspect of bringing trouble, I most certainly am trouble Mr Blobbin, it seems to have a knack for following me around.
And excuse me, hello everybody!”
He gives the group a small wave. Before lookin back to Tordal with a grin.
”Working for money now eh? If I remember right, Apollo has said “commit your time and energy to others, not for reward or praise, but because the goodness in your heart.”
"Indeed! Well, Vail, we were just having a bit of sport and sparring with a couple of our young fighting folk here. I believe I'm about to relieve your friend of some of his silver" He smiles broadly
"It is true that they are all soon to depart for Okcho, perhaps they can use another sword at their side? Your timing does indeed seem fortuitous"

If either Rhogar or Tauriel want to decline the sparring session and move on that's fine. If you want to fight I'll take Nuovis's silver :)
