After a few minutes of skepticism, Tordal began to believe what he was hearing and leaned in to listen more intently.
Master Blobbin, I see that you fight with the strength of a man many times your size. With your guidance I have faith that we can save these trade routes and save Okcho.
Blobbins story goes well into the night. Part of the way through Sledge excuses himself saying he must retire for the night and that he'll stay in the farm cottage if no one objects. Blobbin wishes him goodnight and tells everyone else that there is plenty of room for all the tall folks upstairs and the smaller ones can join him in the hill home if they prefer. The table is cleared by the young humans and they nod to Blobbin heading out the door. Before everyone retires he tells you that you will be well provisioned for your journey and to rest up. He says we will all meet back here for breakfast and any final details.
The hill house is not nearly so ostentatious. It's obviously well constructed and much larger than it looks from outside. The few furnishings are well made but it has a much more homey feel. There is a small sitting room with a fire and a few comfy looking chairs. A hallway on the right leads to several bedrooms. A hallway on the left leads to a kitchen with an open doorway beyond. Blobbin informs Tordal that he may take any room down the hall on the right. He prefers to sleep close to the kitchen. Any of the rooms on the right are fairly similar with furnishings for small folks. Each room has a bed, a small desk, a blanket chest and a small table. You do notice that there is a pitcher of water, a couple cups, and a small tray of snacks on all the tables in each room.
Tordal places his belongings in the first bedroom on the right before returning to peruse the kitchen and make an attempt to discretely discern what is through the open doorway.
Sinjin had dozed off in the middle of the story, not out of boredom, but out of exhaustion. The Gnome heard everyone rustling around, causing him to wake from his light slumber. The Gnome got down from his seat and headed to the hill house with Blobbin and Tordal.
"Where will I sleep Mr. Blobbin?" He asked and adjusted his backpack since it was slipping. Sinjin was too drunk, full, and tired to stay up any longer.
There are some fresh rolls, olives and a large pat of butter on the counter in the kitchen. The kitchen itself looks well used with a well stocked larder. Looking through the open doorway you can see it's Blobbins bedroom. It is crammed full of stuff. In you trying to be discreet and giving it a quick scan what immediately draws your eye is a set of very fine looking armor on a rack.
"It appears Tordal has claimed the firs room, so any room on the right other than than would fine Sinjin. I'm going to fix myself a small snack and head off to bed as well. Sleep well master gnome." With that he weaves slightly toward the kitchen to fix a snack.
"The stories must be true" Tordal thinks while quickly admiring the suit of armor before taking a roll off the counter and retiring to bed for the night.
Staring at the artwork Rhogar nearly misses part of the company depart for the night. Half paying attention he heard blobbins say taller members head upstairs. He makes his way to the stairs. Upon reaching the landing he looks around and finds a well adorned room. He takes off his gear and settles in to the comfortable room.
Oslamir follows Rhogar upstairs, finds an empty bedroom and practices a few minutes on his lute. As he plays, the candlelight goes out and back on again a few times and the mud on his boots seems to fade away, leaving them looking almost like new. Before settling in for a good long rest, he can't help but question the wisdom of heading out to face real danger without any proper training and thinks to himself, "I sure hope I can do something more useful than lighting a candle tomorrow."
You all wake up to a clear day, some feeling more rested than others. Eventually everyone makes their way to the main house and find breakfast already set. You're starting to guess that the spread before you is nothing unusual. Pancakes, French toast, a big jar of honey, eggs, sausage and ham and some sliced fuit.
Blobbin greats everyone as they arrive and once all are gathered he looks to Fyr'ta who has joined you for breakfast carrying a small sack. Excitedly, Blobbin says to Fyr "So did it work"
Fyr lifts an eyebrow "I believe so. I had to work with your meager tools and I didn't take measurements, but it should do. Sinjin. Would you mind if I looked at your seeing stone" He hold out his hand to Sinjin.
Nuovis didn't seem to be much of a big eater, seeing as she only took a small portion of the items on the table for her meal. She turned to the rest of her companions after taking a seat at the table with a pleasant smile on her face. "How did everyone sleep last night?" she asked before she took her first bite of her breakfast.

The dwarf bids his new companions good night before retiring to the hill house.

Nice. Unless there's something else anyone wants to do we'll move to the next morning.
