Halizthan will continue to watch as the boy trains, shrugging as he seems the arrow miss the rabbit. "Continue to practice and you will have it down in no time." He will then go off to check on his horse.
Once Roach is ready for the day, Halizthan will wait for the others to be ready to go. "I assume you all have finished with your morning rituals?" He asks as he leada his mount over to J'anna.
"I believe the innkeeper said it would take a few days traveling along this path to reach the cartographer. He wasn't all too specific but it didn't seem like it would take more than a week. My guess is 3-4 days, but that's without really any evidence."
"Well that also does not account for breaks to rest and eat or other stops we must make along the way." Halizthan points put as he uses his staff to recast mage armor on himself.
You guys get into an easy travel rhythm. There is hardly anyone on the road at this point. Stopping when needed and training with Klee in the evenings. It's a long and uneventful journey. You do see Kleesal's skills improve and he's started lighting the campfires with magic and just for fun jumping great distances and waiting for you to catch up. On the 3rd day you start to see a bit more traffic on the roads and a few farms and houses here and there. Finally on the evening of the 3rd day you can see a sizeable town nestled in the valley between two ridges, on a rivers edge.
Halizthan will move to lead his mount into town, waiting for the rest of them to join him before he gets to far ahead. "Let us find our cartographer and begin the true part of our adventure."
Rend will lean forward and tell Herbert how good a boy he was before looking to the others. "So if you were a cartographer with potential information on a ruin that could contain very powerful relics... where would you hang out?" The kobold asks casually.
From overhead you can see the town well, the largest structure is what looks like a temple. The big kinda 'H' shaped building on the other side of the river. The other buildings look like a mix of shops, homes and craftsmen.
"Hey guys, the town (describes map above in extreme detail)! There's also a pretty large H-shaped building. Wanna start there? It should be a good place to start to find our cartographer man."
You all start heading into town as night is falling. Lamps are being lit and windows start glowing. It's a very picturesque scene with the river sparkling in the lamplight as it flows though the city. (Uhm, crap, the map is actually upside down so you're entering from the top of the map, or uh, yeah, it's Felicity's dyslexia in describing it)
As you pass through the fields and dip into town proper there are a group of 4 men guarding the road, sitting on a wagon blocking the way. They are all dressed in matching tabards. 2 hold up lanterns as you approach and 2 put their hands on their weapons "HOLD! State your names and tell us what brings you to the city after dark?"
Halizthan will lead his horse to the front of the group and throw the hood of his cloak back. "I am Halizthan Darthiol champion of the arena. These are my companions who are also champions. We are on a quest for Lady Zephatessataseria. We are to meet a cartographer here in order to retrieve a map."

J'Anna finished her morning prayers to Tyr and starts to pack her stuff, and gets ready to once again hit the road.

Felicity casts Sacred Flame on the Rabbit. Dmg: 12
(If it fails the DEX 14 save, she will cast Spare the Dying on the Rabbit and take its unconscious body back to camp)

Okie dokie. You've got yourself a unconscious rabbit.
Halizthan and J'Anna get their stuff packed up as another long day on the road lays ahead.

"Look Klee I got you you something!" Felicity tosses the unconscious Rabbit towards the boy.
She then packs her bags with her companions.

"I have, and I'm ready for another day of travel....do we have any idea how many more days until our 1st destination?" J'Anna replies.

Felicity will fly up into the air to try to get a better aerial view and see if she can find any interesting buildings from where the group is.

“Sounds like a plan, lead the way.”
"It would not hurt to look at the largest building. Lead the way." Halizthan says as he cracks the reigns to move Roach towards the town once again.
