Alesandair desperately tries to deflect the claws as the creature lands on him using the weight of her body to pin him to the ground, pressing him firmly into the water-softened dirt of the forest floor, his armor straining under the pressure of the feathered female.

Unknown Creature 1 (who Morn & Wraeven had been chasing)

If the harpy is still in sight of Agozur he will unleash another arrow, if not he will progress toward other group mates and hold an attack for an enemy.
Agozur follows the beacon of light emanating from Alesandair's shield, as his arrow's fletching surfs the air. The arrow sinks deep into the creature's left knee, causing a brief release of pressure from Al's chest, allowing him reprieve enough to take a breath before she presses back on.
Ayra, as the arrow flies past you, what do you do?

Ayra stops in her tracks, after hearing Wraeven's warning to stay back and then seeing the sudden attack on her comrades just in front of her. Quickly assessing the scene before her, she sees Alesandair pinned by the winged creature while Silv'ar appears to be skillfully fighting back against the furry one.
Humming a tune to calm herself, she draws her bow in combat for the first time and fires an arrow at the harpy. Attack: 10 Damage: 7
Then retreats just outside the area lit by Alesandair's shield, and stands behind a tree.

Your nerves have you just a little shaky, and as you release your arrow, your hand shivers ever so slightly to the right. Your arrow cuts the air a hairsbreadth from the Harpy's head, slicing a small lock of hair that falls to the ground. You recognize the close shave as you grip the bark you hide behind.
Silv'ar will stay engaged withwith Bugbear, swinging the mace up toward the creature's hairy inner thigh. Attack: 6 Damage: 2 However, distracted by the second attack from the Harpy, the halfling struggles to make contact with the nimbler-than-usual Bugbear.
Alesandair what do you do grappled and prone as you are?
strength check to see if I can remove this winged luchadore from atop my fallen body - 6
With the added moisture of the recent rain and the damp dirt, I am unable to get a decent grip on the harpy's leg or even get any type of footing for leverage in which to become ungrappled.
ooc- I assume I cannot make a disadvantaged unnarmed attack can I?

(Really nice description Al)
The attempt to escape a grapple is an action, but you could use any bonus actions you have as well. While you're working on that....
Morn comes running from camp and gets to Wraeven and Agozur. The two of you hear him saying, "no... No.... Not again.... Not again." Seeing the Harpy, he will then chuck one of his hand axes despite the range. Attack: 8 Damage: 4
Wagons+0 ft........ Morn&Wraeven&Agozur +90ft.......Ayra +120ft....... Alesandair/Silv'ar +140 ft
(I must have missed recording one of your spell slot uses. I thought you had one left.)
As you wriggle beneath the claws of the Harpy, you are taken by surprise as an axe sinks deep into the chest and rags of the winged wretch, splattering you with it's impact. She makes a loud inhuman squawk of pain, seeming to recognize for the first time the number of companions who stand on the edge of your shield light. Her claws wrap around you tighter, and you feel yourself begin to lift of the ground as she makes a few good gusts with her wings.
The Bugbear fighting Silv'ar nearby will take another swing at him with his tree branch club. Attack: 18 Damage: 2

Wraeven drops his "expeditious retreat" and throws up a Hex on the Harpy. He places a hex on her strength. Then he sends another eldritch blast at the fowl creature.
The Harpy seems to swoon slightly as this deathly power grips her at the same moment she is struck suddenly in the stomach by Wraeven's forceful blast. Seeing her taking hit after hit, the cowardly Bugbear will start limping away back into the forest, Silv'ar's daggers still stuck in his leg and shoulder.
As she comes back to herself and sees her comrade running, the Harpy flies upward (a good 20ft), struggling, but lifting Alesandair off the ground and managing to put a few branches and leaves of cover between her and the rest of the group.
Mobya is in the process of placing the clean, fed, and lullabied younglings back in the basket when she sees Morn dart into the forest. She’s grateful for his bravery and hopes that one additional person fighting might mean a quicker victory. At the same time, she realizes that it also means one fewer person in the immediate area to protect the babies, so she gets ready for a fight should it come to it. She places her battleaxe by the basket, and turns to Lil:
”Thank you for the music, it calms them down so very quickly. I hope they sleep soundly for the rest of the night”
Lil, "We could all use a good snooze. I might as well be chewing the cud... Haha... There was this one time, Aggs and I went rothé tipping..." Lil continues to tell Mobya a series of stories about farmhand hyjinx, putting her at ease regardless of the current danger.
[thanks, and yes, I had double-checked Al's weight as well as whether flying lifting rules are different, and made an offscreen roll with disadvantage to see how well the creature succeeded even though I don't think it was a required check in that instance. Passed the DC just barely.]

Seeing as the the harpy is trying to crush the life out of AL, Agozur will run up to the beast and using his powerful build try and return the favor of the bear hug "We shall see if you enjoy being crushed you winged wretch."

[Full disclosure, I had set a DC 8 for the Harpy to be able to lift Al, rolled an 8 and a 17 with her +1 STR bonus: the Harpy succeeded on lifting, but it was close. So since the Harpy and Agozur are so close in initiative and Wraeven's Hex move was pretty cool...this is how that plays out, which I think honors what both of you are trying to do. Agozur needs to take the Dash action, and I will count the "grapple" as interacting with an object in this instance. If I take too much license here let me know.]
Seeing the well-bloodied creature begin to take off still with her claws wrapped around Alesandair, Agozur lets his bow drop to the ground as he sprints the 50 ft toward his companion at a full run (Ayra feels his speed as he passes in the ripples of a breeze that moves the leaves around her). By the time Agozur reaches that wretched winged waist of feathers, the Harpy has lifted his friend a full 15 feet above the ground as she struggles to fly away with her prey. With his running start and in sheer desperation, Agozur redirects all that energy into a vertical jump, flexing and releasing every tensed leg muscle he has as he leaps into the air. His 8 ft frame stretches to it's full limit rising foot after foot after foot, and as his arm comes up, His furred hands grab Alesandair by his dangling armored ankle at the very apex of his leap, where both men almost seem to float for a moment as the claws give one last tug of resistance before the Harpy releases Al, leaving them both to fall to the ground. Agozur's feet land firmly on the ground with a loud thud, compressing the softened forest floor beneath, but before he has time to react, Al lands flat on his back, forcing the wind out of him, with no recourse for slowing his fall. (Al takes 5 falling damage) The softness of the grassy forest floor making the 15 foot fall feel less substantial than it was.

Ayra watches in astonishment as Agozur runs past her and leaps at the harpy. She steps into the open and turns her bow to the bugbear attacking Silv'ar, then lets fly another arrow before returning to her position behind the tree.
