I leap back to put some distance between myself and the wagons. Drawing my crossbow I wait for the goblins to start to emerge from behind their cover so I can get a clearer shot.
Of the 3 shots fired, only the first one hits, dealing Alteria 4 damage. Emboldened by the call from the leader, a 4th Goblin, hiding in the brush to the west emerges, welding a scimitar.
(Faeth, not only is Demitric very, VERY dead, but it isn't your turn yet)
Alteria, which goblin do you wish to take a reaction shot at?
(if any of you wish, you may make an intuition check)
Alright, first, my conclusion is that yes, Faeth used the wrong dice, please re-roll (note, this can still insta kill Demitric, so just be aware.
second, me marking Narissa was an incorrect move on my part, as I was still operating in the mindset of the free for all you were doing before, I have fixed the turn list, you all post whenever, for your turn "block".
3rd, I will start including the borders of the maps I use, so you can specify specific tiles if you want.
Until Faeth re-rolls, we'll use the first death save Quality rolled in the OoC, and assume Demitric is down.
Aside form that:
Alteria fires a bolt from her crossbow, causing her assailant's head to pop like a balloon filled with salsa.
Tungol rushes down another goblin and stabs him right through the heart, killing with a single thrust.
Goblin 2, after seeing her compatriots fall, the battle go WILDLY out of their favor, and take an arrow herself, decides to book it.
The goblin runs for the furthest of the two wagons, and cracks the reigns, bringing then oxen to motion, focusing on evasion (Dodging)
(all attacks made against the goblin will be with disadvantage this round. also, that the rear 4 tiles of wagon has a canopy over them, and while you can shoot through the openings to said canopy, you need to be lined up for that, or just strafe over to the side.)
You know from the last few days that the oxen carry too great a burden to Dash, so theyre limited to 30 ft of travel per round.
Jared's movement puts him just short of the wagon, and all Narissa manages to do is have her spectral hand tear a small hole in the fabric of the canopy.
(If anyone wants to try to climb into the moving wagon, it's a DC acrobatics check if the vehicle is actively dodging.)
The goblin suddenly finds that she's having a hard time breathing. Looking down, she feels the cool metal tip of a bolt against her chin, before slumping over and falling out of the wagon, the oxen stopping with no driver.
Combat over!
Everyone gets 50 xp!
I've decided to fiat that since Jared and Narissa were the only ones close enough, only they know Demitric is dead right now
“Your skill with a crossbow is truly admirable, Alteria!”
I shine a smile her way before turning and beckoning Jared, once out of earshot of the others I say,
“The others can not know we accidentally killed Demitric, I mean mostly me... but that’s beside the point. If they find out his death was pointless they’ll have both our heads. So if you prefer not dying in your sleep, you’ll follow my lead.”
I messily rip out a page of my journal before scribbling a message in Goblin on it, I rub it in the dirt a little and wink at Jared, sliding the note in my pocket.

Alteria, Jared, Narissa
Seeing my last shot land I turn on my heel and cast Eldritch Blast on G5.
"Nice hit, Tungol!"
Attack: 21 Damage:5
(I put an extra modifier and had to edit the post)
Alteria
Goblin 5 is rendered convulsing husk, her body twitching despite the stillness of her heart.
I draw my short bow, aim and fire at Goblin 2.
”Good shot Alteria! Though it won’t be fun cleaning goblin off the wagon after this...”
Attack: 19 Damage: 4

"Might be able to handle this!"
I move to get into the wagon the goblin acquired.
Acrobatics: 15
Tungol
Tungol tries to jump into the wagon, but maybe right in front of one of the wheels wasn't the best place for a foothold. Take 1 damage.
For some reason you can swear you hear what sounds like a saxophone and circus music.

I run over and line myself up with the goblin in the driving seat, take out my crossbow, aim for the head, and fire!

(I'm laughing at the music lmao thank you for that)
