Ekene-Afa addresses Henry first "I made myself quite a celebrity here in Chult by fighting in the arena. In fact, I became a Merchant Prince by investing my winnings into trading. Anyway, are you going to buy anything? I think I may have some business with that dwarf" She then turns to Gimdir. "'These are not just "old artifacts". I myself used many of them in combat, and they have certainly proved themselves. I'm also not exactly looking for suppliers. I have quite enough merchandise as it is."
[Scamper] You notice that a large Tortle is selling canoes and boating supplies on the other side of the market. Unfortunately, you are so focused on the Tortle that you don't notice any rumors. Like all Tortles, he has a large, bumpy shell and a small, bony head. He also sports a mildly amused expression.
Scamper sidles over to Musharib and tugs on his clothes to get his attention, her eyes never leaving the tortle. She points at the boating supplies, then to herself.
Gimdir bares his teeth in a not so friendly smile, "That be fine! You be remembering the day you met Gimdir and be weeping at the missed opportunity!" Gimdir walks away and goes to find Musharib, waiting for the others to finish in the market.
Henry cocks his head, "And there is your answer. You said you are a celebrity here in Chult. We have already established that I am not from here. So if this is the case, I ask once again, why should I know who you are?"
Realizing that the other half of his conversation has walked away whilst he was talking, Henry just frowns and then wanders off to rejoin Musharib. "These merchant princes, sure act like royal princes. All ego and no time for anyone other than themselves." he whispers with a grin.
“There are many merchants far superior to these. Well, many less one... (he trails off) Upon our return me should seek better places to do business, ya. I’m not one for this haughtiness.” Jasuri hefts his two rain catchers and repositions them awkwardly, trying to find a place where they will both sit comfortably. Unsatisfied but unable to fix the problem, he heads off to regroup with Musharib, rain catchers knocking against each other audibly as he walks.
Scamper sidles over to Musharib and tugs on his clothes to get his attention, her eyes never leaving the tortle. She points at the boating supplies, then to herself.
We need little ship?
Musharib seems surprised by Scamper, but then sees the Tortle "Where did you be learning about boa-...Oh...Yes. A little boat be useful if any of you be knowing how to use one. Dwarves do not be concerning themselves with watery matters, so I be far from an expert."
It occurs to Gimdir that Musharib may have spoken about Jasuri the human standing in front of one of the kobolds. "If you be meaning the human, he be taking a wallop from a big lizard earlier today."
Scamper is talking to the tortle about what she thinks might be the finer points of travel by tiny ship when she sees her companions running off without her. She apologizes to the boat merchant and bounds after everyone.
The tortle seems a little disappointed when Scamper runs off "Why does this keep happeing to me."
The streets seem a little less frantic as the workday winds down. Warehouse workers walk back to their houses. Butchers clean up shop. However, the Thundering Lizard still holds true to its name. The rabble seems to have moved indoors now, as you don't have to body past anyone to get inside. Musharib grumbles about the noise of the city and leaves you at the tavern. "If you be done for today, I be heading back to Kaya's House. They be very snooty, but at least I be able to get some sleep over there"
Musharib nods "Kaya's House be holding some of the best card games. You can be winning a lot of money from the rich people that play there. Or be losing a lot of money."
Scamper has no love of loudness or parties, and blanches slightly at the thought of going back to the Thundering Lizard and seeing the sad little animals fight.
Musharib once again leads you through the streets, this time to the North Western section of the market. Here, things seem to be a little less frantic, and the common people are more well dressed. Upon seeing you, some seem surprised, while others hide their children in fear. When you eventually come upon Kaya's House of Repose, you can see a very noticeable difference between this tavern and the Thundering Lizard. Kaya's house is kept in a better state, and the sign appears to have been re-painted fairly recently. In addition, there is no crowd spilling out of the doorway. It is lit by lamps that dangle from the building's overhang. Unlike many buildings surrounding it, Kaya's House is built in a combination of Western and Chultan styles. Inside, you see a few humans and a halfling. As soon as you are inside, the bartender, who appears slightly irritated, walks over to a painting with a large frame. Pinned on the frame is a flyer, which you can't quite read. The bartender tears off the paper, throws it away, and returns to his bar. Almost immediately after he does this, a woman walks to the sign and attaches two identical flyers to the frame. Unlike the bartender, she seems entertained by the situation. Musharib, who doesn't notice this, ushers you inside "Welcome to Kaya's House"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Amused by this game with the flyers, Henry will immediately walk over to read the flyers. After reading them, he will walk to the bartender, "A room for the night, a hot meal and a glass of wine, if you don't mind."
Henry will then settle down at a table, where he can have his back to the wall and watch most of the room out of the corner of his eye.
Scamper will wander over to the bar and take a seat that puts her as uncomfortably close to other people as possible and tries to get the bartender's attention without actually saying anything or raising her hand, she's just trying to stare at him til he notices.

Jasuri Silverhands || Tomb of Annihilation
Musharib seems surprised by Scamper, but then sees the Tortle "Where did you be learning about boa-...Oh...Yes. A little boat be useful if any of you be knowing how to use one. Dwarves do not be concerning themselves with watery matters, so I be far from an expert."
He scoffs at Henry's comment "You be not needing to tell me that."
When Musharib sees Jasuri, he whispers to Gimdir and points at Jasuri. "Be that one okay? In the head? He be looking a little insane"
[OOC: Just for your information, all of the equipment costs 25 gold and 4 silver]
Gimdir looks at Musharib confused. "That one be a kobold. What be you expecting? You be never seeing a kobold?"
"So are we all ready to go back to the Thundering Lizard?" Henry asks the group. "I am hungry and could do with a drink, after this adventure!"
(The crowds and noise of a Bazaar is an adventure for someone like Henry who mostly keeps his own company.)
"I am if the rest are."
OOC: Just for clarity Jasuri is a human

[OOC: By now it is around 4:30 in the afternoon]
"Can I still play dice and cards at this Kaya's house?" Henry asks Musharib
IF YES
Henry will follow Musharib to Kaya's house
IF NO
"That's a shame, I will stay here for the night then. Can you meet me and anyone else who stays here tomorrow morning?"
Musharib nods "Kaya's House be holding some of the best card games. You can be winning a lot of money from the rich people that play there. Or be losing a lot of money."

Kaya sounds nice. We can stay at her house too?

Gimdir says, "Lets be not splitting the party and be wasting time on the morrow finding each other to be leaving. Lets all be heading to Kaya's."
