Storm King's Thunder + Against the Giants

(OOC - logic tells me the assassination plot is more important - but I don't want to drag a pair of elves around to Citadel Adbar either)

(OOG I am sure they have magical means of getting word to the Dwarves... And if anything we can rest and then Wind Walk the rest of the way. I also don't want to drag around two other souls...Ren doesn't mind, G'M.O.A.T., though... lol)

OOC All right. To Moonwood, then.

The adventurers all become clouds as Grathart cast the Wind Walk spell. It seems they are getting used to it. The party finds its way back to Moonwood, although you are not sure which location in Moonwwod is. One thing that is sure is the first snow which already covers part of the canopy. The air is quite cold, but the party is getting used to this as well.

As the transformation reverts, Jevin takes the lead: " I know this part of the forest. We are on the northernmost side. Come. In less than two hours, we should meet our people. " Jevin takes all near an icy waterfall.

The journey in Moonwood is quite uneventful, aside from spotting a family of bears, a couple of Giant Owls and a curious Giant Weasel. Jevin takes all near an icy waterfall. "We should make camp here. Our people would be here soon enough."

(OOC - yes - to Moonwood first!)

After one hour, a Giant Owl comes visit the party. After few seconds staring at each other, the owl transforms itself into a female wood elf. "Halani, Jevin! We are so happy to see. We have search for you a long time"

"Innovindil! We are happy to be back, although all the credit goes to our heroes here."

Friends, allow me to present Innovindil, an elder of our people and druid of Moonwood."

"Always pleased to meet a druid. Your love and respect for nature should always be admired." Ren says with a bow. "We are Ordo Ursa and we have come to Moonwood to bring back your friends here and to send dire warnings of an assassination plot to towards the dwarves of the Citadel, we need to send word to them at once! Let me introduce you to our fearless leader, Chieftain Nalla Rockahnd, daughter of Ironhand. Erakas, our fearless Ranger, and Grathart. A being in fine tune with the natural world, such as yourself."  

"I am very pleased to meet you all," Innovindil says with a bow. "But what is this threat to the dwarves you speak of?"

Halani then intervenes: " When we were in captivity, the yak-folk brought a scouting party of dwarves from Citadel Adbar. They crawled under their skins. They have this ability to control their body. They said they were going to kill King Harnoth!"

Innovindil then continues: " Dire situation indeed. We do not have the means to contact the dwarves directly. But maybe we have the means to take you at their doors in a blink of an eye. Are you willing to go there and warn the dwarves?"

"Sure, the plan was to head there after we made sure Halani and Jevin were returned safely to the Moonwood.....we already met King Bruenor, why not meet another Dwarven king...." Erakas chuckles.

"Ordo Ursa has important matters to deal with elsewhere as well, is there one you trust to send and warn the Dwarves Innovindil?" 

OOC: Ninja'd and apparently we are not on the same track, if they can send a messenger in our stead then we can get back to the Fire Giants, which I think is more suited to our particular talents right?

"I could, sure. But I am not certain the dwarves will listen to us. Our relationships are not the best. I feel you may have better chances at this. Have you some proof you have fought the yak-folk?"

 (OOC - to Citadel Adbar - we'd still need to either spend the night with the Dwarves so we can windwalk back to Ironslag - or hoof it the old fashioned way)

(OOC - also she asked if we had proof we fought the Yakfolk - not sure if Rockhand's new sword constitutes that - not sure what else we may have acquired that would fit that description either)

"Please, if you can get us there as quickly as possible. We have a greater quest at hand, but this was the most dire. The Giants are running a muck all over this Realm and we need to stop them as soon as possible."
