"Exploring? We no explore" he pauses for a moment while holding his head as the sheer amount of questions is hurting his brain. "Captain? Captain dead we think." He gets up and goes into his hut. "We no like many questions." He says as he hides in the hut.

Once the goblin goes inside, Strife will grab another fist and quickly gobble it up.

Captain Red Skies takes the offered fish and unselfconsciously begins eating it with her hands. Between bites, she asks "Feng, did you find anything in the wreckage that might help us figure out what's going on? Like a logbook or journal?"

"Book? We find book?" He mutters to himself before responding "We find book in boat!" Feng shouts as he starts rummaging through his hut. You'll see random items flying out, amongst them would be the book you're looking for.

"I may have missed this earlier when I was searching the ship, but were you on the ship Feng when it crashed ashore?  Or are you from this island and where is the rest of your kind then?" Lady Susanne asks the goblin.

Cent will stop searching and look forward Lady Susanne. "We no from island. Boat go blub, we float long time. We get to island, build home, live here. We only ones here." He will pause and start holding up fingers, starting with 1 going to 3 before continuing. "We here..... Around year 2."

Captain Red Skies will pick up the leather bound journal and turn it over. There are initials embossed on the cover. They read "M.L." She flips through the pages a bit before looking up and saying "Can anyone here read Evlish? I think I've found LaTiffe's journal, but I can't read it."

Strife would make his way towards the books that were tossed out of the hut by the goblin. Picking up the books he would bring them over to the captain. Here you go... hopefully there is something useful in one of these.  The kobold would say before moving back towards the fire and sitting between seldor and Lady Susanne. 

(So strife knows comprehend languages and will gladly cast it to read the book and slap some RP on there but Seldor knows elvish naturally so I will let him read it if he wants. I don't want anyone to feel like I am being a RP hog or anything. I wan't to RP with everyone :D)

"Yes. I can read Elvish for you."

Seldor, the journal details a previous expedition to the island. Latiffe accompanied the crew, but their ship was lost in a violent storm. The last entry is dated roughly 2 years ago and reads  "Damn Roberval and damn his treasure! First that fog, then a storm crippled our ship and drowned the crew. I'm all that's left. I've climbed the crow's nest and observed a stone structure near the base of the volcano at the back of the island. I'm going to make my way there and hope that if there are any indigenous peoples left on this rock, they're amenable to outsiders…"

"So I guess we are heading towards the volcano next?" Lady Susanne asks.

"According to the last note in LaTiffe's journal, his ship sunk in a storm that killed everyone onboard except him. He was indeed heading towards a stone structure near the volcano at the back of the island. That's the last note from his journal and it was written two years ago. I guess we should head there and hope that we'll have an easy time getting along with the natives."

Strife will rub his stomach after taking another swig of water. "Welp, I say It is time to head out and find that volcano" The kobold would say with an eager smile before looking down at his chewed up leg... maybe after a short rest that it... 

OOC: before we head out have we rested? just curious so i can reset health, spells and abilities before we head out

We have not rested, but we can. 

(I don't think we have. I figured I would have Strife mention taking a rest in case we hadn't already lol. Strife isn't hurt too bad but I am low on spells... Not that a short rest allows me to recover spells though.. maybe I should burn some sorcery points for slots :D)

All, If you want, you can spend the night with Feng and take a long rest.
