If anyone would like to climb the statue, make three 1d20 rolls to determine how well you do. 10+ allows you to climb 10ft. On a 9-5 you don't gain nor lose any ground. On a 1-4 you fall to the ground, taking 1d6 for every 10ft you fall. If after the three rolls you aren't at the top, you can decide to make up to three more 1d20 rolls. You have to climb 30ft to reach the bowl of treasure.
Feng, you manage to climb a third of the way up. For the sake of time, go ahead and make two more 1d20 rolls then we'll determine your position on the statue and you can decide if you want to try to keep climbing.
Ok, Seldor will move the women away in this situation, since he doesn't know if Feng will trigger that again by climbing and doesn't want to take the chance.

You're two thirds of the way up! Go ahead and make three more 1d20 rolls if you want to keep climbing. If you get one more 10+ roll before a 1-4 roll, you're at the top!
Feng, you easily scale the statue, pausing only briefly to test your hand and foot holds before putting your weight on them. Reaching the top, you find a large stone bowl that's overflowing with treasures. Gold, gems, and statuettes glitter before you. You find roughly 600gp worth of treasure, more than you can carry by yourself.
Amongst the loot is a shriveled monkey's paw on a leather cord.
Feng is going to reach the top then smile wide. "We made it!" He shouts as he looks down at the bowl. After looking over the treasure he grabs the paw and stuffs it in his pack, he will stuff a handful of gold into his pack as well then dump the rest of the treasure out of the bowl and onto the ground for the others to grab.
Lady Susanne tries to communicate with the group but she cannot seem to verbalize any words...she also sees her companions talking but she cannot hear what they are saying...she begins getting very nervous and worried....she grabs a near by stick and scratches into the dirt "What is happening?"
"Good job Feng!" The kobold would shout. Strife would move around the ground collecting the treasure as it rains drown from above. Looking up from the ground and spotting Lady Susanne looking worried, the kobold would make his way to her. Realizing that Susanne cannot speak or hear, strife would move towards Seldor and Sussane away from the pillar and cast mold earth and begin writing in the dirt. "Seldor, what should I tell Susanne to make her feel better?" The kobold would say as he prepares to form sentences in the ground.
"The monkey's paw has three charges. As a bonus action, the wearer can expend a charge before they declare an attack. If the attack hits, it does critical damage (if the roll results in a natural crit, it is just a normal crit and the charge is lost). If the next attack made against the wearer hits, it becomes a critical hit (regardless of whether or not the wearer hit or missed their attack). Regains all charges after a long rest."
"Tell Susanne and the Captain that what happened to them is temporary and that it will be gone tomorrow. I think that we should stop and give them the time to recover, since it would be dangerous to go adventuring with them in their current state."
Seldor is going to cast Identify on both of them, starting with Susanne.

Are you sure you want to do that here and now? ;)
No. Seldor will probably take Susanne and the Captain someplace safe, since this is going to take 20 minutes to cast it on both of them.

Seldor, before you do that we'll resolve what the others want to do about the statue and gold, if anything.
Vappa is going to find a nice tree to sit besides, cross his legs and meditate. He is not getting involved in this.
"Soory about that!" Strife would shout as he picks up the 12 gold scattered around. "Maybe climbing is best..."
(we can split the 12 gold)
Feng will attempt to climb the statue. First roll: 11

Seldor, after retreating to a safe distance and casting your spell, you learn that the effects are not permanent. They should fade within 24hrs.
OOC: I'm off for the night. Have fun splitting up the loot!

Feng, the Monkey's Paw is a magic item. You can find it in dndbeyond and here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items/482101-monkeys-paw
