As the thug swung his mace at the kobold, he would hold up his dagger to defend himself while muttering under his breath, casting shield on himself as a reactoin. (assuming a +5 to my ac of 16 (21 total) would prevent those attacks from hitting but let me know if they still do so I can subtract damage)
Footsteps and a snicker presage an intense pain in Strife’s side, and he turns to see another bandit behind him. The Bandit’s scimitar drips with Strife’s blood and he smiles at the Kobold’s growls, exposing the stumps of yellowed and rotting teeth. Muttering under his now smoky breath, the Kobold turns and brings forth a clawed hand holding a crystal orb. The orb flashes intensely, briefly illuminating the dark alley. The Thug instinctively covers his eyes and hears a thump from behind him as the Kenku drops to the dirty ground, snoring loudly. Blinking away the afterimage of the orb’s light, the Thug snarls and haphazardly swings his mace in the tight alley. The solid lump of cold iron narrowly missing Strife’s head as he draws his dagger. The Thug connects on the backswing, slamming his mace into Strife’s shoulder, briefly interrupting the Kobold’s spell. Strife spins his body with the impact of the mace, lessening the blow and turning about to raise his dagger and mutter an arcane utterance. A shell of light blue light erupts into existence with a crackle as a crossbow bolt slams harmlessly into it and falls broken to the ground.
I won't always be able to do these, but I had time this morning.
Strife, the Kenku falls asleep, but the Thug's hit points are too high for him to be affected.
The Thug, ignores the unconcious Kenku and moves to square H12. He then attempts to strike Strife with his mace. He uses his multiattack action to make two attacks. The first attack misses, but the second connects for 5 points of damage.
Bandit 1 will attempt to hit Strife with his Light Crossbow. The bolt flies true, striking Strife for 3 points of damage.
Vappa, you're up next! You've entered the battle at square A14, which is on a roof top overlooking the alleyway where Strife is fighting for his life. Bandit 1 just hit Strife with a crossbow bolt and is reloading for another shot.
Strife, the round ends and the time remaining for your dragon's breath is :54s.
OOC: If you guys have a preference for your token and font color, feel free to let me know.
(Summaries like this are always awesome and super nice. I used to do them for one of the games I ran but they can be really hard to do all the time and so I appreciate you doing it but I will definitely not expect it lol :D Thanks!)
Vappa will slowly approach the bandit on the roof and attempt to kick him off the edge. He will use Flurry of Blows, channeling the Open Hand Technique. If Flurry of Blows hits, they must make a DC STR save or be pushed 15 feet.
Attack: 15 Damage: 7
Spending 1 ki point for two more unnamed strikes attacks as a bonus action.
Vappa, your Fury of Blows hits and the Bandit fails his saving throw! Between the damage from your kick and the fall, he is dead. Congratulations on earning first blood! You can keep your Ki point since your first attack was enough to do the job.
Bandit 2 will attempt another attack against Strife with his scimitar. Thanks to Strife's still active shield, the attack misses.
The Kenku is still unconscious due to Strife's sleep, with :54s remaining.
Strife will turn towards the Thug and take in a deep breath through his nostrils, inhaling some of the smoke rolling form his mouth before yelling "back... OFF!" while exhaling a blast of flame towards the face of the thug. (It is 15 feet so the flames shouldn't hit the sleeping kenku)
(dex 12 saving throw or take 3d6 fire damage. If they succeed they still take half damage)
As you make your way along the docks, you feel as though you’ve suddenly been teleported to another realm. Exotic sights, sounds, and smells wash over you, wave after wave. Small, mischievous looking monkeys chitter and grab at you from cages stacked atop a nearby merchant's table. The foul smell of rotting fish wafts over from an open-air market where brightly robed women hack at the catch of the day with heavy cleavers. Sea-shanties sang by a number of drunken crewmen, swaying in front of a ‘tavern' that consists of nothing more than planks laid across empty rum barrels with crates of bottles behind it. Above the symphony of seaside sounds, you hear a woman’s voice shouting orders from the deck of a nearby ship.
“Careful with those casks of smokepowder or you’ll have nothing to waggle at the doxies with whence we return you scurvied curs!”
A middle-aged female dwarf stands atop the quarterdeck of a finely crafted schooner. The name “Misty Matron” painted on the side of the ship in bright red matches the long braid snaking from under her brown tricorn hat. The braid is draped over her shoulder and rests against her chest.
Agamemnon inhales the salty air and the odor of rotting fish and hails the dwarf from the docks. "Well met, friend dwarf! Are you Captain Red Skies of the Mist Matron?"
Vappa pauses, taking a deep breath and centering himself before approaching the Bandit. Seeing movement out of the corner of his eye, the Bandit looks up from reloading his crossbow and sees Vappa’s tall muscular form approaching. He curses and tried to reload faster, fumbling the bolt. It clatters to the roof and rolls off the side. With another curse, the Bandit throws the crossbow aside and attempts to draw his scimitar. Vappa takes a running start and plants his left foot firmly on the roof, swinging his body around. Vappa’s right leg smashes into the side of the Bandit and he can feel things break and give way inside the man’s body. With a groan the Bandit flies off of the roof, smashing into the building across the street before landing in a broken heap in the alleyway below. Another bright flash of crackling energy erupts in the alleyway as the other Bandit’s scimitar bounces off of the magical shield surrounding Strife. Trusting his shield to hold, Strife turns to the Thug with smoke billowing from his mouth and fire in his eyes. Strife inhales through his nostrils, the smoke curling back into his nose, and shouts “back… OFF!” as he releases a torrent of flame from his mouth that engulfs the Thug. The man screams in agony as the flames burn his flesh and singe his hair. Blackened and in pain, the Thug screams with fury as he recklessly swings his mace at Strife. The Kobold deftly dodges the first swing, but the Thug quickly reverses his momentum and brings the mace into Strife’s gut with an underhanded swing. All of Strife’s breath and a small gout of flame burst from his lips as the wind is knocked out of him.
Vappa, you successfully and safely leap from the roof to the ground below. I'll place you at square E11. The first attack misses, but the second hits. The third attack also misses. Bandit 2 now appears bloodied.
Finding Vappa to be the bigger threat, Bandit 2 will attmpt to strike him with his scimitar. It misses!
The Kenku is still fast asleep, now having turned onto his side.
As the thug swung his mace at the kobold, he would hold up his dagger to defend himself while muttering under his breath, casting shield on himself as a reactoin. Amazingly, the Thug still hit, but Bandit 1 did not!
(awesome lol!)

What do you do?
Agamemnon inhales the salty air and the odor of rotting fish and hails the dwarf from the docks. "Well met, friend dwarf! Are you Captain Red Skies of the Mist Matron?"
Flayr Flameseeker | Genasi/Fire | Wizard/School of Evocation | Level 2 | Custom Campaign: Cold Cash
The dwarf turns to the sound of your hailing and lifts a hand to block the mid-day sun. "Aye, who's asking?"
(sorry, I missed your post. I thought you would just roll. FIRE DAMAGE! 13)
(HOLY SWEET FLAMING KOBOLDS, I am pleased with that roll)
Strife, nice roll! The Thug now appears bloodied.
The Thug will try another multiattack. Again, the first attack misses but the second hits for 3 points of damage.
Vappa's up next. The Kenku is still unconscious with :48s remaining on his sleep. Bandit 2 has not yet taken any damage.
Seeing that the Kobold is still in danger even after the fire breath, Vappa will leap from the rooftop and attempt to strike Bandit 2.
Acrobatics: 6
Flurry Of Blows: Attack: 20 Damage: 13 If it connects, Vappa channels the Open Hand Technique. They must succeed a DEX save of 10 or they fall prone.
Spending a ki point for two bonus strikes.
Attack: 8 Damage: 5
Attack: 18 Damage: 7
(Just to make things easier, Strife will cast Shield again if he is about to get hit as a reaction between now and his next turn)
