"You can hold on to it then" Strife will say waving towards Seldor before making his way back into the other room and approaching the northern door. "You guys wanna try this door next" The kobold would ask standing ready to open the door.
(Lady Susanne can have the sword if no one else cares, I don't care. I was hoping that the stone was an ioun stone. Strife would have wanted one of those :D)
Strife, the door doesn't budge. Up close to the door now, you see that it's intricately carved. A bas-relief carving of two serpent bodied humanoids is carved into the door. There are two slots hallowed out the where the serpent people's eyes are. They're empty.
"Well I guess it is time to check the other door" Strife will say moving towards the west door. Stopping before opening the door and looking it over closely.
Strife, the door to this room is locked. On either side of the door are statues of Yuan-Ti with goblets in their outstretched hands. Dark red splotches stain the goblets and the floor around them.
Strife would open up his pack and pull out his thieves tools... "Alright.. let's see if I can get this open.. I uhh.. .someone showed me how to do this once... not that I have ever broken into any place or anything.."
Strife, there are no door handles or visible locking mechanisms for you to manipulate. The door is solid stone with no discernable features other than the two Yuan-Ti statues holding goblets on either side.

(Seldor is lightning fast! my beautiful roll not needed :D)
Seldor, you cast identify and get only a faint sense of magical properties within the orb. What you can gather is that it's a key of some sort.
(I assume my acrana roll didn't determine anything then)
Strife, you learn as much as Seldor. The magical properties it contains are simple and allow it to function as a key or some sort.
OOC: Can Lady Susanne take the sword if no one else wants?
OOC: Sure
"The orb is a key. I don't know what it's a key to, but it's a key."

"That door looks as good as any.." Susanne says
Strife will try to push open the door.

"That orb might be 1 of the eyes, if so, we might need to find the other..." Lady Susanne says
"Hey Seldor! You still got that key stone? I think we need it to open this door..." Strife will say as he looks closely at the engravings.
"I have it, but like Susanne said, we need to find its twin."
