This is a continuation of a campaign that was previously in person.
As Larth keeps watch over the camp, the rest of you are preparing to go to sleep. The fire dies down, and time goes by quickly as you reminisce about the events that have happened in the past couple of days. Most of the people in your party feel pretty lucky to have managed to escape from Velkynvelve, but the memories still rest fresh, and peace of mind is something that many in your party may never experience again.
Buppido: I see those drow everytime I close my eyes, especially that priestess. To think that despicable race would worhsip such violence and hatred... And you've been having those nightmares too, haven't you? It's this place, I'm telling you. Somthing changed. It never used to be like this. I lived in the underdark a long time, you know. Oh sure, we heard about demons, but we never actually saw them. My ow mother used to scare me with tales of demons coming to drag me away into the abyss if I didn't eat all my mushroom stew, but this? This is different. This is real.
Derendil: This has been nothing but a nightmare from start to end, except the end is nowhere to be seen. My place isn't in the dark, living my days as a filthy Quaggoth. I should be in the sun, ruling over my people and going on hunts whre I'm the hunter, not the prey. Everything in this place seems like it wants to eat me.
The last of the embers turns gray, and everyone but Larth tries to get some sleep. About an hour into the night however, Larth notices something out in the distance. A pair of eyes are staring at him from a few yards away. More footsteps than eyes are approaching the camp from the direction you came from.

Harry has little interest in listening to everyone's woes. He is much more interested in this strange new world that he finds himself in. Harry spends his down time studying the local flora. Some phosphorescent mushrooms growing on a dirt pile near the camp grabs Harry's interest in particular. He pulls out his nifty herbalism book and begins to create sketches of the strange plants.
"What a remarkable specimen",He thinks to himself. "These fungi produce light but do not create any heat. Without the light of the sky, these little mushrooms are likely a prime source of light for the smallest critters here. But what provides them with warmth?"
Harry reaches down to take a sample. Harry's perception determines if he notices the footsteps as well. (Natural perception of 12): 22

Everyone is now awake and alert. Your focus is centered on the figures approaching, and their focus is centered on you. As they cautiously move closer, they deploy attack formations. You can all now see them clearly: two warrior drows armed with shortsword are backed up by two more drows with crossbows. One of them yells somehting in undercommon to someone in the back.
Initiative roll for the drows: 10
Roll your initative and your actions. If you do decide to attack, also roll to hit and damage roll. Describe different scenarios if you'd like (e.g. If I can target this enemy I do X, otherwise I''ll do Y)
Unsettled by the thought of losing his possessions and freedom once more, Harry jumps to his feet. He tucks his sketch book away and prepares for battle. Initiative: 11
Harry hears the battle cry of the drow. Desperate to understand what his foe has shouted, Harry thinks back on his years researching undercommon. The words have been distorted by the echoes of the cave and of the marching of the oncoming dark-fey. None the less, Harry attempts to translate. Investigation: 21

Harry realizes that the drow is speaking to the drow priestess! "But she is not visible from our location," Harry thinks. "This can only mean that more reinforcements are coming, and quick!"
Immediately, Harry repeats his findings to the group and implores that they make a defensive retreat as soon as possible. He looks around to find any sort of features or objects that the cave might offer to impede their assault and hasten his group's escape. Investigation: 22

You notice numerous stalactites hanging from the ceiling of the cave about 25 ft up, in an area near the drows but away enough from your group. You think distrurbing one of them could cause a chain reaction that would delay if not permanently stop the drow's pursuit.

"The stalactites!" Harry shouts, pointing up at the roof of the cave in front of them. "Shoot them down!"
Harry clasps his hands onto his pignut hickory staff, and chants a phrase in Arcana. His staff glows on its top end like a bright, shimmering star, then three orbs of light shoot out of Harry's staff and beeline towards the stalactites. The blasts slam into one of the stalactites, dealing 10 damage.
The darts twirl around each other in an intricate dance, as they crash and explode on contact with one the largest stalactites. Friends and foes alike look up at the ceiling, as a look of terror flashes the eyes of the drow. Time seems to grow still for a moment, but shortly after loud cracking noises are heard. As the ceiling collapses, many of the scouts are taken by panic, their screams muffled by the falling rocks before stopping abruptly. An insurmountable wall now separates your crew from the silken path and your pursuers, but the noise must have attracted unwanted attention somehwere else in the underdark...
[Mr. DM, what is our experience for crushing the four Drow?]
Harry breaths a sigh of relief. He turns to his compatriots with a weary smile "Well that could have been a lot worse." He then looks around to see if anything else is amiss near the camp.
Nothing seems amiss at camp. The rocks seem to create a nice barrier from the drows for now, but you never know. From here, you can decide to rest up a bit at camp or move further down the path, but that would leave you without any rest until you find another good spot to settle
Your suggestion is heard around camp, but many seem hesitant to stay at the same place after such a close encounter. Perhaps a bit more convincing is required

Harry looks at the weary group of travelers. The worn, bruised and battered. He sees the exhaustion in their eyes. Yet, he also sees their fear and and anxiety. Upon seeing the state of his group, Harry takes sympathy with them. "They deserve a rest," he concludes.
Harry walks over to his newfound friend and turns to the group. He speaks out with confidence and determination, "Friends, nobles, countrymen. We have traveled far, and bested great odds. This group has shown me that together, we can defeat anything that comes our way."
"But Larth is right, my friends. We are worn and tired from our battles. Our party must be sharp, and it must be healthy to complete this journey. Garth has proved that he can be a reliable watch. So rest easy, friends, and know that we will make it there in the end."
Persuasion: 3
"And also, I need more time to study that captivating mushroom"Harry muses.
Heartened by the words, the crew settles again to rest, if somewhat uneasy from the fight. Stool, the young myconite sprout, uses his intellect spores to communicate telepathically with you. Thank you he says in his child-like voice, before choosing a spot near Harry to rest for the night. The next day you wake up and realize that Topsy and Turvy, the two deep gnome siblings, have gone missing. The rocks still block the passage between you and the drows, the only way to move is forward.

Larth turns to the group and says:
I'm sure the two Gnomes had their reasoning for leaving in the middle of the night. I am hoping they did it voluntarily. But we are not in a position to start a serious search for them. While we move on we will keep an eye out for them but we need to maintain focus in getting out of here or we could all end up dead.

As Harry awakens, he can feel the Weave's presence, even in this dark and foreign world. "It feels different somehow, yet familiar at the same time," Harry ponders.
Portent Rolls 4 & 20
Upon realizing the situation, the halfling wizard is concern by the disappearance of the two creatures. "If they left on their own, that is their choice. But if a creature of the Underdark took them, or a spying Drow, that is an entirely different problem."
Harry remains his composure and pulls aside the members of last night's watch, Larth and two others. He asks them: "Did anyone see Topsy and Turvy leave last night? Or did anyone see anything suspicious?"
