Two of them guess from the ripples on the water in which direction the rogue is headed, and head off in that direction; the third Redbrand continues to scan the water.

Despite being lighted up like a lantern, the party emerges unscathed from the hail of crossbow bolts. The party's boat is now 5 feet from the ladder where Khial previously was. The rogue is swimming downriver and has split the party, but he has also split the Redbrands since two are now after him.
OOC: Would it be possible to row the remaining 5 feet then get on shore? What does it look like? Are there any sources of cover (eg. large rocks, trees, other structures, etc)?
OOC: Sorry for the delay posting, dudes. It's paper checking time for me, and I'm swamped. I'll post a map by tomorrow at the latest,; I'm also trying something new in the maps, so let's see how that turns out.
