Yes, Jim has had an especially rough day and beginning to get a headache!

Adam leads you into the bell tower where you are greeted by a large foyer area with a little window on the left side. There's a bench on the right and the end of the foyer is roped off with 2 bored looking guards. Behind the window is a somewhat harried looking woman who greets Adam with a nod and says "What have you brought for us this time Adam?" Adam gestures to whomever is carrying Tims body to come up to the window with him "Hi, Arl. Looks like more folks having trouble in the swamp." He leans in closer to the window "Looks pretty far gone... is Master Wilcox on campus?"

She looks down at some papers and shuffles them around "Yeah, he's in the lab today." She looks up to whoever is carrying Tim "Name of injured?"

"His name is Tim. But, um... when you say 'injured', is there a point-of-no-return for his injuries, so to speak?"

Turning to Adam, "How often do folks have trouble in the swamp? And why do people still go into the swamp if it's so dangerous?"

Looking at her papers and writing something down as you speak she says "Well, yes sometimes there's nothing we can... Wait did you say Tim? Tim who?" and she pops up from her desk to look out the window. The color drains from her face as she puts her hands against the desk "He's been missing for weeks! Where did you find him? What the hell happened?" Then catching herself and going back into business mode says "Adam, Take them to the lab right away!"

She slams her hand down on the desk and a loud horn blasts out. Both guards remove the rope and make way for the party as Adam has moment of hesitation then busts into action leading you all down the hall.

"..."  Tormir chooses not to answer regarding where we found Tim, and follows Adam with the rest of the group.

At the sound of the horn a pathway open up down the hall with the students moving to the sides to clear a path for the party. Seems to be a pretty well known drill. Adam leads you about halfway down the hallway and opens a door. Heading inside you find a large room with various lab equipment set-up on racks and desk along the side walls. The room is dominated by a large table in it's center with various apparatus set-up around it. (you can think of it as a D&D style operating room) An elderly human man with long gray hair is setting out various vials and jars beside the table as you all walk in.

Adam calls out once you're in the room "Master Wilcox, We got one here who looks pretty bad."

Wilcox waves you all in "On the table with him then!"

Lorros approaches the table and lays Tim onto it. Confused as to what will happen next he stands back and watches.

Wilcox looks at Him expectantly for a moment then furrowing his brow hurts "Well, Right to work then." He begins inspecting the body with care mumbling to himself about the state of decomposition and the slash wounds. "So tell me what you can. Where and when was he found"

Lorros says in a matter of fact tone; "He was found inside the body of a snake in the swamp, he appears to have been poisoned along with significant damage from a blade. He was found today but the incident happened some time ago." 

Wilcox finishes his examination. "Yes, I can see he's not in very good shape. We'll need to do a resurrection. Those are costly though and I know Tim's wife won't be able to afford it. I'll start a collection for him. Tim was well liked here. I'm sure everyone will pitch in"

Turning to Jim "I know you guys were close. What happened?"

Jim looks taken aback.

”I don’t... I’m sorry I have no idea. I don’t remember. I also have the worst headache I can ever remember having.”

Jim looks around for somewhere to sit.

Jim, you find a place to sit. Wilcox notices Adam still lingering and says "Thank you Adam. Please go tell the desk we'll need to start a collection for Tim right away" Once Adam is gone his demeanor changes. "I may have something for the headache but you'd better start talking. I stuck my neck out for you two so you could borrow that book and then you disappear for a month and show up back here with Tim dead! Please tell me you still have that book young man?"

Jim looks bewildered.

“Are you talking to me?! I may not remember much right now, but I at least remember my age. I’m 53! Young man...”

He moves to angry. Raising his voice.

“In fact, you seem to know me, and Tim. Why don’t you tell us what’s going on! What book are you talking about and who are we to you?”

He's not intimidated but he's very confused. "Something is not right here. Jim, I don't know what's wrong with you but it's obvious something has happened. Listen. Tim isn't going to get any worse while we collect the funds to resurrect him. How about we all go to my office and you can tell me what's really going on here?"

Once we're in his office, Tormir says, "Jim's right, we really don't remember much at all. We found ourselves in the swamp, discovered Tim's body in a giant snake, that was already dead when we got there - but given that we seem to have lost our memories, it may have been us that killed the snake in the end for all we know."

After a brief pause, "Out of interest, are you the only people around here with the knowledge and ability to raise the dead?"

Getting into his office he closes the door and tells you all to take a seat if you wish. It's about what you'd expect of a professors office. There's a large desk with various books and papers on it with a chair behind it. There are 2 chairs in front of the desk and a couch against the wall. He sits behind the desk.

He says "I'm not sure I take your meaning. You found yourselves in the swamp with no memories? How did you find Tim in a snake? I'm not trying to be difficult bu you're not making much sense."

"and no, we are not the only place that has people who can raise the dead. Many have graduated from our school and several have stayed in the area. We usually treat more minor afflictions but, occasionally someone has great need and we do what we can to help."

Turning to Jim "So you really don't remember me? You don't remember Tim or the school?

You guys don't have to repeat the whole story. I want to know how much you're going to share with him. Are you going to tell him everything? Are you going to withhold as much as possible? Make something up?

OOC: What do people think? We should move things along. I find it hard to imagine these guys being the big bad guys. I'm inclined to tell him most of what's going on. Maybe not that we died and were brought back to life and dropped back off in the world by the old man, but everything we know besides that - which is mostly that we don't know anything including who we are. What do others think? 

I'd be open to telling him it all, there could be a chance that someone here could help us remember things that will help us with what we are doing.
