Ilena shouts, not understanding why the Kenku are so hard set on attacking. "Why are we fighting?!" She would say more, but instead she spins striking at the Kenku with a backhand, then a mule kick.
Pascal shouts, “Perhaps we should take one alive, figure out what’s goin’ on!”
But with a joyful shout, despite bleeding heavily from his wound, Drusk spins his mace around and into the back of the head of Kenku1 (14) which had been facing up against Jorin, smacking it’s beak shut with a loud clack! (7 dmg). It makes a yowling hissing sound just like a cat, but presses its attack on Jorin (23), once again stabbing him deeply (6 dmg).
Pascal, thinking quickly, incants and a bonfire springs up under the feet of two of the Kenku facing Drusk (3&4), but both dance out of the way of the flames (DC12: 23&13). They swing at Drusk, and Kenku3 manages to get past his defenses (21), inflicting a grievous wound (7 dmg)! Drusk falters, but manages to get Joybringer up just enough to parry away Kenku4’s blow (11)!
Meanwhile, to the side, Ilena shouts, “Why are we fighting?!” but spins, delivering a backhand blow (19) that fells Kenku5 (7 dmg), her roundhouse kick sailing over it’s falling body. She finishes her spin facing the rest of the fight.
Hildi steps out of cover with his bow raised, aiming towards Ilena but seeing her foe down, pivots and fires over Jorin’s shoulder, surprising Kenku1 (16) and spearing it through the eye (6+2 dmg!). It drops like a rock, and Jorin coolly steps over its body, swing his axes at Kenku3 as it dodges away from Pascal’s magical bonfire (13&17), spraying blood with the first blow (9 dmg), and burying the second axe in its body (7 dmg). It falls to the ground in a heap.
End of round: No end of round actions.
Notes: Wow, they rolled well, but you all stepped up! The only contested initiative events were the face off between Ilena and her foe, and which targets would be left when Hildi and Jorin acted. Since all of Jorin’s declared enemies were down, it was natural for him to step up and defend Drusk instead.
End of Combat!
Map:
Sitrep: Drusk stands, bloodied and weak in front of the one remaining Kenku. Jorin is also well injured, bleeding from a couple of wounds.

Start of round: No start of round actions.
Monsters declare! The lone remaining Kenku, uninjured, drops its sword and takes a step back.
Next: Combat is over! Unless you want to stab the surrendering Kenku4 out of spite.
The Kenku drops its sword and hastily puts up its hands. In the voice of a scared man, it says, "No, don't kill meeeeaaiiiee!" Whoever it is mimicking apparently did not get the mercy they were asking for.

Drusk will gaze around quickly. Don't want any hidden combatants to sneak down to catch the party off guard. Perception: 12
After that, he searches the kenku (including number 4).
Any coins will be held by Drusk, for the party communal celebration fund.
Any notes will be tossed to Hildigrim.
Any weapons tossed in a pile near Tozer.
Any snacks are tossed to Ilena, who looks like she needs to carbo-load after the fight.
Any other knick-knacks get tossed to Pascal.

Ilena checks Kenku 5 for life signs, then breathes a sigh of relief.
"This one's unconscious but still breathing." she says, sprinting off to check for signs of life among the pile of corpses. Seeing Drusk collecting weapons in a pile, Ilena will move any weapons she finds in her investigation and put them in the same collection.
She looks at the dead carefully looking for clues. Her expression is a mixture of sadness and disappointment at the loss of life.

OOC: Not clear about what modifier I should use, but I assume investigation in which case the roll will be as is. Ilena is not experienced with such things so I think that makes sense.
The Kenku have a grand total of 2 gold dragons, 11 silver shards, and 15 copper nibs.
They have short swords, now tossed into a pile.
No notes, snacks, or knick-knacks.
The twelve bodies lined up against the wall are all very dead, with slashing wounds like a sword might leave. It doesn't take much investigation to find they have Zhentarim tattoos of black winged snakes. They also have short swords, which have been carelessly piled.
The Kenku continues to cower, now covering his head with his hands.

Jorin takes a deep breath (second wind for 7 hp), "Drusk, while you are looking at the dead, would see if any are Florp?" He then walks towards the cowering Kenku. "Xanathar sent you lot to kill these men, why?"
As Pascal looks for a back room, Ilena will stalk up the stairs to see what is going on up on the balcony, trying to be observant and sneaky all at once.
Jorin stands and grins at the one conscious Kenku, who... smiles weakly? Hard to tell since it has a beak.
Hildigrim starts poking in the crates, and finds lots of simple weapons and short swords, black clothes, boots, dried rations, and the like. Equipment for a mercenary force. It should be noted that among the twelve bodies, five of them are Zhentarim-marked with the winged snake, but the rest are not, and one of those has an eye tattoo on the back of his hand.
Drusk drips blood on the floor.
Pascal and Ilena start for the back of the large warehouse, and as Ilena starts up the stairs, she can't help but notice, even in the dim light from the one fitful torch (25!) there's a piece of the wall ajar to the left of the staircase, back on the main floor. Pascal also finds a door under the stairs, on the right side.

Jorin wipes blood from his wounds, licks it off his hand, then smiles before attacking Kenku1 with both his axes.
Edit: feel free to apply the attack to Kenku 5 if #1 dies before it gets used since Drusk rolled way higher initiative, lol
