With the splashing and what not, Hildigrim should make another pair of Stealth and Perception checks, please, while Drusk is getting everyone to go to the door with Ilena.

Jorin see Drusk wave him across the room. He looks down at the slooshing muck, then his heavy chain mail armor, cocks his head with a smile and sets off, doing his best to be quieter than a sack of metal falling into a shallow pool. Stealth: 20
(We just need Ilena to "shhh" the rest of the group.)

Drusk sloshes his way across the open are to the raised shelf, indicating to the others that they should come, too. Hildigrim removes his torch from the arrow slit and heads NW to do the same to the other opening, as Jorin begins crossing the space. The big man catches his foot on something, and trips, managing to catch himself before he is dunked, but making a loud splash and a clank as one axe goes flying to land at Drusk's feet and the other (the lit one, still in his hands) hitting the floor, thankfully muffled by the muck. The area is thrown into muddled darkness lit only by Hildi's torch as Jorin's axe light is covered by the sewage.
Everyone freezes a second, Pascal just coming out of the first passage, Drusk and Ilena at the door, Jorin on the ground, and Hildi with his torch in front of the other arrow slit.
There's a noise at the southern arrow slit, and then you hear a goblin speaking Common.
"Hey! You Half-rats bin warned! Stay away or Huke fill you wit arrows! Yeah, you, I see you Half-rat wit torch! You not so hidey wit' big fire on stick. Go 'way now!" It seems to be addressing Hildigrim.

"Stay away from what?" Hildigrim asks, turning to squint at the arrow slit. "We were hired by the Spouting Fish to find some kind of flying creature that's been seen floating around underneath their sewer grate. I ... well, we're lost." He leans a little more toward the slit. "What are you doing in there?"
OOC: How tall is the island? Can Hildigrim hide behind it?
The island is a mounded shape, about two feet tall at the apex, but a foot of that height is under the sewage. So... maybe? Probably not.
"Half-rats not hunt little eyes! Go, now, or I stick you wit arrows." Hildi cannot see much, given the torch out here, and the lack of light in there. But he does now hear noises behind him, from the other arrow slit.
Hildigrim backs up a little toward the northwest slit, holding his torch up above his head. "Why are you threatening me? I'm just trying to do my job. Can you tell me where we are?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Think it is time to open that door. STR check 17 + Guidance 1 (Hard to work around rolling a 1 last time, and a 3 now.)
Assuming the door takes some effort to open, if Jorin decides to give it a try next, then Drusk will cast Guidance on him and then use the help action.

Ilena steps back to let Drusk open the door. Drusk moves in and tries the door, which opens inward, not easily, but mostly because it is a stone door in a dank sewer, not because it was locked or stuck or anything. He quickly pokes his head in and with his dark vision sees a stone hallway leading north to another door, with another arrow slit on the north wall. He ducks back.
Jorin (the DM assumes) splashes his way as quietly as possible to join Drusk and Ilena.
Pascal (the DM assumes) stays where he is, maybe edging back towards the original hallway from whence you came.
Hildi waves his torch and tries to keep talking to the goblin.
"Aw, now you make me mad!" says the goblin. He calls out more loudly, "Yordi! Yordi! You sleep? Half-rat in the hall, we shoot 'im?" This last is a question, and is not followed by an arrow. Yet.
Jorin, after Hildi's exchange, drops all pretense of stealth and begins walking normal. Splashing through the muck, his chain mail rattling, he calls out, "What is going on down here? Boss send us to check on the status of our defenses and this is what we find? Only one of you is watching." he cocks his head towards the other arrow slit, "Ya, Yordi, I am calling you out!" He then continues berating the first arrow slit "And the other, the other is here talking to a would-be intruder instead of just shooting him with an arrow. It is an arrow slit, not a talking slit. Now, let us in and maybe we won't be so hard on our report."
(Besides the traditional cinnamon rolls, Jorin's bakery has the seasonal Deception-flavored rolls. Hot out of the oven!)

OOC > I'm going to go ahead with the goblin's reaction, so the rest of you can react to that.
Jorin strides out into the muck where he can be seen and blathers very convincingly. Goblin to the southeast says, "Whaaaah! I no sleep! Yordi sleep! I good guard, gon' shoot Half-rat, see!" He is so flustered he actually shoots an arrow out the arrow slit. It clatters against the far wall (6), not very close to Hildigrim. "You come in, go in, tell boss Huke good guard! Yordi bad guard!"
At this point another goblin voice comes from the northwest arrow slit. "Yordi good guard! Huke sleep alla time!" There is a pause. "You all from boss? Even sewer gator?"
It is apparent that Yordi (NW) can see the whole party from his arrow slit, where Huke (SE) only see Hildi, and now Jorin.

Jorin claps his hands together when Huke looses an arrow, "That's more like it! Now hold your bowstring, if you accidentally shot on of us, you'd have more pressing concerns than what the boss thinks of ya." In reply to Yordi he adds, "Yes Yordi, the gator is our newest head cracker. The mere sight of him is enough of to scare most anyone."
If there's one, there's probably two. Hildigrim stealths over to the other slit and does the same maneuver to check it out as well.
With the splashing and what not, Hildigrim should make another pair of Stealth and Perception checks, please, while Drusk is getting everyone to go to the door with Ilena.
