(OOC: In case you haven't guessed, this is a shorter adventure I found online. You will probably breeze through it, but I hope you have some fun.)
"Finethir Shinebright is respected and feared, not soft and fluffy! I am an eloquent elf, not a talking sheep!"
Before the sheep can continue its bleating ranting (ranting bleating?), there is some barking outside, along with a gruff voice responding. The front doors open. A muscled half-orc with leather armor and a great sword struts in, followed by 3 iron-collared wolves sniffing the ground (no leashes), and lastly by a big fellow (8 or 9 feet tall) completely covered by a dirty hooded cloak. You do see that the big guy's feet look like dark brown furred paws (maybe some kind of cosplay boots?), and the heavy impact of his footfalls can be heard.
The sheep looks shocked, and quickly scurries behind your dining table. The Half-Orc sets his small eyes on your group, and strides forward with one hand stroking the blade of his greatsword. "That sheep is Mas-ter Noke's... He will have it back. Now."

Jorin takes a step forward, hands resting on the weapons' pommels at his waist, "Who are you, that you would come to another's hearth and bark orders?"
Quillary stands up with her now familiar feral smile, knocking the chair she was in backwards to clatter to the floor. Twigroot scuttles further back, both away from the fight, and from the herbivore. Spores and ash rise up off her clothes and skin, swirling in a tight cloud around her, agitated. "When coming into another's den it is customary to give a hail at the entrance, or bring enough friends it does not matter. You have done neither. Watch your next words, dogs."
She moves up to stand next to Jorin, one hand on a chair, ready to use it if needed.
OOC > I am going to surmise we are mostly armor and weaponless, except what we might have with us on an average day? So Jorin with his axes, since he sleeps and bathes with them, but Quillary without her shield... :)

(Oh, that is an excellent point. Quillary gets DM Inspiration.
These guys were undergunned compared to a party of 5th level characters. I was beefing them up, but after what you mentioned, I'll put them back to normal.
The spell casters have their spell foci on them. Quillary can cast Shillelagh on a chair and use that as a club. Pascal has an Adamantine Dagger in his hands; everyone else a regular dagger at the moment. I'd say that weapon and shields are on a nearby table, but that will require a round running to them and grabbing them. No one is wearing armor.)

Hildigrim scurries under the table and hurries over to the sheep. "Quickly!" he whispers. "Tell me what's going on while my friends distract them."
(The language spell affects the party, but not the intruders. All they hear is bunch of baaas.)
The sheep is hardly aware of Hildigrim. It is grinding its teeth and muttering loud enough for the party to hear. "Noke, that ungrateful human. I never should have made him my apprentice. And using my wand to turn his friends into animals. When I get it back, I'll polymorph them into rocks and drop them in the outhouse..."
After Jorin stands up, the half-orc blinks twice when he realizes his intimidation isn't working. He puffs out his chest and repeats himself. "I am Guz, right arm of Master Noke. Hand over the sheep. It is of great sent-ee-ment-all value to master."
Now Quillary stands up and confronts him. Guz's mouth opens, and his head turns to look at the wolves. One of them makes an un-wolf-like gesture, shrugging its shoulders and making a "how should I know" facial expression.

Gruz: "You all dumb. Me explain." He head-butts Jorin.
Attack: 24 Damage: 4 (The blow connects. But with his barbarian constitution (AC 15), it does no damage, and merely gets his adrenaline going.)
The wolves move in a pack, circling around the table towards the sheep.
The big fellow steps forward, next to Gruz. With a grand sweep, it flings off the cloak... It is a brown bear. It reaches up with its upper arms, to pull on its head to the left, and then the right, stretching its neck. Then it brings up its paws, in a boxing stance, and grins to show its teeth.
These are not lycanthropes. From their behavior, you'd think they were humans in costumes, but the wolves and the bear are real.
(OOC: To make the combat simple for me, everyone in the party can go. Then I'll have the intruders go. Keep alternating until combat is over...
If you want to pick up weapons and shields, that will take a round to move to the next table and grab them.
Everyone can use a kitchen knife as a dagger. (Since Drusk does not have proficiency with a dagger, he is more likely to use a chair or a punch.)
Jorin and Gruz are in melee range of each other.
Let me know if you want lethal or non-lethal. If you go lethal, there will be increased costs to clean the gore from your restaurant. )

OOC > Quick note, killing people is really bad in Waterdeep. Even if justified, the penalties are pretty severe. Characters would all know that, by now, with the possible exception of Quillary.
As Jorin withstands the half-orc's head butt, Quillary licks her lips and smiles, picking up the chair and tapping it to the cat skull knotted up in her hair. The chair turns black, then sheds a layer of ash and black motes. At the same time, her tight cloud of spores explodes around her into a swirling eddy of black and grey. "Boo," she says to the bear.
Action: Use Wildshape to engage Symbiotic Entity for the next 10 minutes (or until all 20 temp hp are gone). Bonus Action: Cast Shillelagh on the chair she is holding with two hands
Here is initiative in case order is important: 23. Q, feel free to roll any additional d20s you need for Quillary.

"No killing!" Hildigrim hollers from under the table. "We don't want the legal trouble." He snaps his fingers and Volo appears above the half-orc's head and begins harassing him. He then studies the wolves to make sure they don't get the drop on him.

Pascal casts Hold Person on Gruz. With Volo suddenly appearing in his face to distract him, Gruz (WIS save 4) is completely paralyzed by the spell.
(Since Gruz is temporarily out of action, I assume Jorin and Drusk would concentrate on the bear. And that Quillary would use her reaction for Halo of spores on the nearest wolf.)
Jorin growls at the bear louder than it roars at him (RAGE). Jorin grabs the bear around the waist, lifts it off the ground, then rolls to the side to suplex the bear onto the ground. (Jorin athletics 22 vs. bear athletics 10)
Drusk is uncomfortable with a knife in his hands, so he stabs it into the table, stands up, and swings the chair at the prone bear (adv., club 1d4 damage). He uses his bonus action to summon a Spiritual Weapon, to also hammer the bear. Both weapons hit (18s), with 7 bludgeoning and 10 force damage.
Quillary invokes her symbiotic entity wildshape, and casts Shillelagh on her chair/club. Her Halo of Spores is resisted by the wolf (Con save 19)
Hildigrim has summoned Volo, and is Dodging.
Bad guy actions
Gruz remains paralyzed by Pascal's spell. (End of turn WIS save 9)
The bear stands up, and swings a paw at Jorin (12), which Jorin swats aside. The bear does bite him (20 for 12 damage), so Jorin takes 6 piercing damage after rage-reduction.
The 3 wolves are close enough to use Pack Tactics with each other (adv. on attacks). One goes after Quillary, one after Hildigrim, and one after the sheep. (Hildigrim's dodge offsets the pack tactics on his wolf.) All hit (vs. Quillary 18 to-hit for 8 damage, vs. Hildigrim 21 to-hit for 7 damage, vs. sheep 12 to-hit for 8 damage). In addition, Hildigrim is knocked prone.
The animal attacks are drawing blood, but their attacks are non lethal.

As Drusk swings the chair, Pascal hears a crash and turns in horror, “What are you doin’!? We just got those repaired, Drusk!” Drusk then summons his weapon, to which Pascal shouts, “Well then what’d you need the chair for! C’mon, man!”
Pascal is going to start dragging Gruz out of the tavern, “Don’t be carin’ where ya go, so long as it ain’t here!”
Jorin is wide-eyed for a moment before busting out in a laugh, "A talking sheep!"
