Quillary burps, then wipes her wyvern slobbered hair out of her face. She smiles and slaps Jorin on the shoulder. "Someone should keep that door shut,"she mentions, pointing at the front door, unaware that half the party probably can't see very well right now.

Drusk cast Light on the table south of the door when combat started, so there is adequate light in the room for now.
(OOC: You are free to have OOC discussions about how to keep the guards from coming in. Don't feel you have to commit to a course of action as soon as you think of something. Part of the fun of playing with a group is brainstorming ideas.)

Quillary looks at the very Large dead creatures. “Can we push them in front of the door?” She kind of waggles a finger at them and then in the direction of the door.

Just after Jorin asks if he's OK, Hildigrim's head jerks, and he appears to be listening to something. "Hainard's hairy —," he says, but he's cut off by the hammering. Following the call from outside, the halfling blushes. "My many apologies. Volo has been attempting to telepathically explain to me our combat was attracting unwanted attention, but I was too distracted by the intensity of the battle to pay attention." He holds up a finger. "Grant me five to 10 seconds." Without dropping his finger, the halfling's eyes go blank as he enters the head of his familiar to have a look around at who has been summoned by the noise.
[Insert description of outside after Hildigrim returns to his own head.]
"It is highly doubtful that they will give up on their investigation of the noises which emanated without some assurance of their master's safety," the halfling says of whoever is outside . "If I'd heard him make a speech," he says of Sundeth, "I could have tried to make a false explanation by impersonating him, but as few a number of words he spoke in our presence, it is extremely unlikely I would adopt a convincing accent. It's unfortunate we didn't allow him to apprehend us. Perhaps he would have taken the time to explain all of his nefarious plans by way of a verbose monolog. Is it too late to revive him and force him to send the guards away?"
After some discussion, Hildigrim enters Volo's head once again and flies around the tower, looking for another exit.
At Hildi’s suggestion, Quillary looks over at the large dead things. Her spores coalesce around Sundeth, but though a finger might have twitched, nothing happens. “Too large,” she says, her spores returning to her.
“We don’t need to escape yet, we need to go upstairs, and then we can call the drow in. That should make our escape easier. But in the meantime,” she looks over at Jorin holding the door closed, “We need a plan to buy us more time.”

Drusk responds to the others. "The door is thick to noise, so if we keep it shut, the impersonation doesn't have to be convincing, just good enough... Sundeth has been described as an ill-tempered bully. If you make it sound like he is upset at being interrupted by these guards, and Jorin throws something heavy near the door, that might convince them to go away for a while."

(Nice time for a 20.) Before anyone can stop Pascal, he loudly roars off his versions of Sundeth. Maybe not convincing if done face to face, but muffled through the door? And Pascal does capture the anger and annoyance in the voice.
Hildigrim (looking through Volo's eyes) reports that the guards took one step back when the bellowing started, and have scurried away to do other guard activities away from the tower.

Jorin lets out a laugh, "HA, well done Pascal, well done." He moves to start dragging the bodies over to the door, nodding at Quillary he says, "Just a small doorstop in case them come back."
Hildigrim gives Pascal a pat on the hip. "Yes, well done, my scaly friend." He rubs his palms together. "Now, shall we climb the tower to free those who are imprisoned above?"
Quillary is all grins at Pascal's shouting. "Just like that," she nods. She will sort of supervise the dragging of bodies, but she's not very strong, so when Hildi suggests going up the stairs, she joins him at the trap door.
