(I forgot to change S = Spar to F = Feldspar. I'll make that change the next time I post a map.)
Hildigrim is the only one not Surprised, as he was able to notice the monstrosities as soon as they started moving from the shadows. (A little bit Volo being uneasy with the frog monstrosity smell, a little bit Hildigrim's leftover paranoia from his psychic training.)
For the 1st round, it is Hildigrim, then the monstrosities (B1 and B2). For later rounds, the initiative is: Hildigrim, Feldspar, B1, Jorin, Quillary, Drusk, B2
(The frog monstrosities were hidden in the shadows, so they will have Advantage on attacks since they are blindsiding the party. If Hildigrim uses his Action to shout to the party about the threat, then they won't be treated as "invisible". People will still be Surprised and unable to act this round.)
Hildigrim is up.

The last in line, Hildigrim notices as the creatures begin to come out of hiding. "En garde!" he yells. He then ducks back around the large pillar (to H3) and hides in preparation of attacking.
Hildigrim alerts the others to an ambush. You are still unable to act this turn, but at least you are able to defend yourselves (no advantage from them Hiding).
One targets Feldspar, another targets 1-2 Drusk, 3-4 Jorin, 5-6 Quillary: Unable to parse dice roll.
B1 attacks:
Tongue Attack: 17 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. necrotic
If needed, STR save vs. DC 16 (rolling d20 only): Unable to parse dice roll.
Bite Attack: 23 Damage: 18 piercing
B2 attacks:
Tongue Attack: 14 Damage: 13 necrotic
If needed, STR save vs. DC 16 (rolling d20 only): Unable to parse dice roll.
Bite Attack: 19 Damage: 13 piercing
(A bunch of stuff that depends on the rolls. I'll make another post after this one, with a map, and an explanation of what happened.)
EDIT: aha... I should have used "1d6" instead of "d6", try again (the tongue attacks missed, so don't need STR saves)

(Sorry, I forgot to move Hildigrim around the corner of that pillar. He wasn't targeted.)
Both these creatures were moving towards Feldspar. The larger of the monsters (B1) grows at the other, so B2 veers aside to aim for Quillary.
While 15' away, their tongues lash out like whips, trying to pull Feldspar and Quillary towards them. The tongues are coated with some shadow-realm slime. With Hildigrim's shout of alarm, the tongues are bashed aside by their shields (13 and 12 to-hit).
Frustrated, the creatures move closer to try to bite their targets. B2 misses Quillary (13 to-hit), but B1 bites Feldspar for 15 piercing damage (20 to-hit), and the teeth close around her. Feldspar is Grappled and Restrained (disadvantage for attacks). Escape DC 16 for the grapple.
Hildigrim's shout seems to have thrown off these monsters, as their attacks were mostly off-target.
B1 has its jaws on Feldspar, and is trying to pull her into its wide mouth.

Feldspar (if she can) uses her reaction to cast shield.
Just as the teeth are about to clamp down on her, she uses the warning given by Hildigrim to make a sudden gesture and a globe appears around her - like a pufferfish, she becomes less appetizing and is spit out.
(Let me know if this works, if she has a reaction!)

Grappling not being her strong suit, Feldspar growls and attempts to move her sword such that if the frog bites down, it stabs itself with the sword. (Bonus action?)
She also casts armor of agathys on herself, chuckling evilly through the pain. Sharp ice spikes burst into being all around her body, like a smaller, spikier version of the pufferfish she was trying to become earlier. (She has 5 temp hp and if she is hit by a melee attack, the attacker gets 5 cold damage.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Hildigrim moves around (below) the big pillar he's hiding behind until he can see B2. Asking Volo for his aid once again, the halfling fires an arrow, yells something helpful to Jorin (who he remembers was near where the creature should be now), and then backs up to "hide" (but not really) around the pillar once again.
Attack: 28 Damage: 33 (includes advantage and sneak attack as usual)
(its going to be Hildi and Feldspar again, and then me, right?)
(They just went, so I’ll take care of B1 later today. Then the rest of the party goes.)

Hildigrim's arrow hits B2 in a sensitive spot, doing as much damage as two of Jorin's axe swings (!!).
B1 tries to take a deeper bite of Feldspar (with advantage due to restraint from the initial bite). If it succeeds, then she is swallowed by the creature. (And the creature will take 5 agathys cold damage.) (17 or less is a miss. 18-22 can be Shield-ed. 23+ will hit no matter what.)
Attack: 12 Damage: 15 piercing
Quillary and Drusk are up. (The B2 gets to go.) (Jorin hits B2 three times for 35 damage, as the creature is AC 15. B2 still has health to spare, but 61 damage is a significant chunk of its HP.)

Quillary rubbernecks as Feldspar gets swallowed, then turns back to her opponent. “Not today,” she says, lifts her hands high, and the ground under the creature ruptures upward in jagged spurts.
Action: cast Erupting Earth with a 4th lvl slot on B2, incl 5ft left of it and 5ft right, and 20 ft backwards. That gets one of the columns, fwiw. It takes 35 bludgeoning damage or half on a Dex Save vs DC 16.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Right after Quillary casts Erupting Earth on B2, Drusk will cast Tasha's Hideous Laughter on B1 to try to keep it in place. (The half-orc picked up a few tricks from Lliira's acolytes.)
(Used the Game Log to get the d20 rolls used for their saves. Unfortunately, those were good rolls for them.)
DEX save vs. DC 16: 17
WIS save vs. DC 15: 16
With half damage from Erupting Earth (17 points), B2 is clearly near death. Hissing in anger, it looks towards the western entrance, which is in dim light (outside the 15' radius of bright light from Jorin's moon-touched sword). In a flash, B2 emerges from the shadows at D1, then moves next to Hildigrim to try to bite him.
Bite Attack: 24 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
