"Pascal!" Hildigrim almost screams. He rushes back down the mountain. Upon seeing that the lizardfolk did not plummet, but is hanging on for dear life, he moves to the side, lies down on his stomach so his head and shoulders are over the edge, and analyzes the situation in order to help him climb or someone else pull him up safely.
"By the eight!" Jorin swears, and rushes down the path, half skidding, half stepping, to reach Pascal. With Hildigrim's guidance, he grabs the lizard by his wrists and attempts to haul him up (or, if i've misunderstood Pascal's position, Jorin will lower his rope to Pascal and try to haul him up with that).
With Hildi’s masterful guidance and Jorin’s rope, you manage to haul Pascal back on to the path, a little injured, but otherwise okay. The operation takes a few minutes, but even if the others did not help, your assailant has disappeared.
A light snow begins to fall.
In all the commotion, Ilena has still kept hold of her fish.
(Pascal still has over half his HP, so Drusk won’t use a healing spell at this time. If Pascal anticipates trouble in the future and wants to be topped off, let me know.)

Ilena breathes a sigh of relief as Jorin and Hildi pull Pascal to safety, and clutches her fish tightly. After making sure everyone is okay she says, "An assailant disguised as a member of the Watch is troubling. He can hold his own, but still... we should hurry to make sure Master Hlam is all right." and continues along the path as quickly as she can without compromising anyone's safety.
OOC: Hildigrim has a potion of healing, if it would be better to save your spell slot, Drusk, Just something to keep in mind.
"I saw him, too," Hildigrim says, brushing himself off. His eyes travel up to where he had spotted the saboteur. "You're OK to keep going, Pascal?" the halfling asks the lizardfolk.

Everyone catches their breath, and looks up the path, and Ilena starts upwards again, worried for Master Hlam.
You continue in the light snow along the switchback trail, and arrive shortly at the spot where the rockfall originated. It is clear this was set up and that someone was lying in wait. Feel free to make any relevant checks (Investigation or Nature) for more information.
Ilena, please make another Survival roll, as you are still in the lead.

No need for more rolls. Drusk points out several things Hildi misses, and they come to the same conclusion, this trap has not been here long, maybe a day or two. There's only one way to go, on up the path up the mountain, and that is where your assailant has scampered off to.
Visibility is starting to get worse, but you can still see a good distance, several hundred feet clearly. The snow does not look like it will get much worse, in Jorin's estimation. He knows snow, though the ocean could throw a curve ball he's not used to, being from the mountains.
Ilena will continue to press on.
(No worries, just putting the need for Survival roll from Ilena here in case it gets lost in the responses above, still only expect you all to post once a day or so.)

(Drusk can't cast Guidance continually, but every 30 seconds or so, he will cast that on Ilena for her Survival rolls. Every little bit helps. )

Ilena presses on through the snow, pulling her cloak tighter around herself. She hunkers low and peers out from her cowl to pick out the path, the fish still clutched tightly to her chest.
The snow has begun to gather, but it is not piling yet, and tracks are scant. As you trudge, however, another twenty minutes, you come across a small ravine, about five feet deep, and ten across. The snow has gathered in the crevasse, and you can see marks of someone scrambling across. Ilena also notices, just covered by the new snowfall, the scat (poop!) of some large animal, and Hildi notices two more piles (so many Survivals!).
What do you all do? You can cross (Athletics), examine the scat (Nature), or do something I do not expect! :)
Marching order is Ilena, Jorin, Hildi, Pascal, Drusk, though there is room to stand two abreast right before, in, and right after the ravine.
Weather is cold, with blowing light snow, but it does not have any game effects, at this point.

Except for Ilena, the party members can long jump the ravine. If a rope is held on both sides, Ilena can cross without stepping into the 5' ravine.)

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: Is all the scat on the other side of the ravine, like animals were left on that side of the ravine and only the one-armed unknown man crossed to this side?
Hildigrim sees Ilena is having trouble and helps her by advising her on how to get across more easily. After she has made it to the other side, he backs up and makes a running leap across.
Scat is on both sides, near and far. Drusk examines it with an eye towards some sort of predator... but the ravine looks clear, and there are no places a large animal could hide, no boulders or trees, but Drusk is still wary.
Ilena does not recall this particular ravine, but she also ascended a different side, wandering lost in thought (so she did not recall how she got there), and ended up at the Aerie (the Griffon Cavalry HQ), and then found her way down, basically, eventually, to Master Hlam.
Hildi leaps across the gap, then returns to give Ilena advice on how best to cross. Drusk gets out some rope, and suggests he toss it to Hildi, then they hold it at both ends so Ilena can cross.
Jorin? Pascal?
