"We are seeking Llyneth," Hildigrim replies, "so our needs align, but I'm not sure we can guarantee your sanctuary. As outsiders, we would need to be hear both sides of the story before pledging any kind of support for you or she."
"I'm not asking for a guarantee of sanctuary, but that you will advocate for me, and do your best to convince Llyneth when this is all over.
"I don't expect you to control her mind or charm her. That would weaken her protection too much."

"I have no idea about what she would chose. What if she is having a bad day, or decided she didn't like people with pink hair? I haven't met her. I haven't harmed her or anyone in this forest. I would rather her saviors advocate for me, in case she doesn't want to accept hideously ugly people in her forest.

Pascal raises a hand, “So does that make you an actual hag that’s been cursed with beauty? Cause that would make you the antithesis to hags, cause hags like ugly stuff, right?”
"Well, yes. That's why I drew a hag face on the bag, so you wouldn't think I was trying to trick you. Didn't Snicklet explain that?"
A voice from upstairs calls down. "They asked who, not what. Take for-ev-er to ask questions. Too slow, too boring, wrong questions."
"Oh that.. scamp." (You suspect she wanted to use a different, stronger name for the quickling, but could only blurt out that word instead.)
"Well, your vows to us will mean little to her," Quillary points out. "But I will vouch for your intent, and see you have the opportunity to make that vow to her. Yes?"
"Excellent. Excellent! I will hold your group to that promise... Don't worry about this bargain. You wouldn't have had a chance to rescue her without my aid."
She starts shuffling through a shelf with various potions and lotions, looking for something. At the same time, she gestures at the cauldron. Images appear in the boiling liquid, like a story book matching her narration.
"You need to understand what is going on... Llyneth had a dark legacy unknown to her. She carried the Black Blood from a distant ancestor. At the most recent full moon, that ancestry allowed Kauth to possess her. Llyneth’s fellow druids were killed, and their blood drained to pollute the Eye in the Mist with their blood. The Shadow of the Beast used the corrupted moonwell to summon (or maybe create) the Howling Disease from the Shadowfell.
"Are you following the story so far?" (With her sing-song voice, she sounds like she is relating a children's tale instead of horrible murders.)

"Kauth needs her spirit to survive, so he can maintain his control over the Eye in the Mist. He banished her spirit into the mists of corrupted moonwell. Your party must enter the moonwell and free Llyneth’s spirit. I believe that Llyneth’s spirit will attempt to assist you within the moonwell, so look for clues and aid.
"Freeing Llyneth’s spirit should break Kauth’s hold on the moonwell, ending the threat of the Howling Disease to the fey of Tarthwood. I suppose it might help other people too, if you care about trivial things like that."
She finds what she is looking for on the shelf. (Do not add anything to your inventory, except for Pascal and the last item.)
Each member of the party is handed a small vial of fluid, which vibrates in your hands. It is a quickling draught. After being consumed, for 6 seconds you will have the speed of a quickling (120' of movement). This should be fast enough to reach the moonwell, and still have an Action to use Disengage to avoid attacks of opportunity... The fluid will expire in the morning, so use it while it still has potency.
Quillary is handed a "hag-flame torch". The druids enchanted the moonwell grove to prevent fire from working inside its borders. Shadow of the Beast twisted that, and only fire can part the mists that hide Llyneth inside the moonwell. To get around this, Hyll provides the hag magic, which will act as a normal torch in the grove and in the moonwell. Hyll warns the party that the hag-flame torch will serve them for three tasks before its magic fades.
To Pascal: "Your kindness and pity at my accursed beauty offends me. I wish to rip out your guts and wear your intestines as a necklace. But instead, I feel obliged to reward your kindness with this." She hands him a potion of cold resistance, which he can add to his inventory.

The party is a bit uneasy spending an hour in a green hag's home, but the experience is rather pleasant. At one point, she serves a delicious ginger and black tea drink. This disappoints Hyll. "That was supposed to be ground maggots. Why did I grab those tea leaves instead?"
With the party healed up, Snicklet guides you back to the area where you first met him. Early in the trip, he is hyperactive and complaining like usual, but then gets quieter as you get closer to the Eye in the Mist. "Don't like get-in close to Howl sickness. Makes fey into dark things. When he gets to the edge of the grove, he gestures you to get closer and whispers: “You drink da draught? You’re gettin’ a burst o’ speed lika quicklin’. Ya do this, ya gotta do this right. The moonwell’s grove is an ovoid ring of oak trees. Inside that circle are eight trilithons—stone structures with two vertical stones topped with a single horizontal stone. At the center of it all is the Eye in the Mist— a 20-foot-wide pool, which boils with fog. A pungent sulfuric smell emanates from it. Standing next to the moonwell is a misshapen human woman. Her mouth is distended and full of sharp teeth, her hands are like claws, and she walks slightly hunched over like she’s wearing clothes too small. Around her are four werewolves, dropping what are obviously human bones into the moonwell.
(You are a little over 100' away from the Eye. You can make Nature or History checks, but you have to mention what you are looking at, or looking for. Just "looking around in general" will get you nothing beyond what was already mentioned.)
