Golver is able to pull the bundle through the paneling but the spider is still advancing into the room with plenty behind it as other legs begin to pull around the opening!

Kat cranes her head, trying to see what's going on past the other three people behind her. "What's going on? Is everything okay? Do I need to get ready to hit something?"
It takes a moment but working together Necey and Golver managed to shut the paneling. They hear the mechanism roll into place then lock leaving the wall before them slightly marred by clawing spiders but once in place to the causal observer it simple looks like a damaged part of the paneled wall. Stepping back into this meeting place they realize it's some sort of abandoned pivate study.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Once the door is shut, Golver would stand up tall and look around the room. "I feel like this test is a little more complicated than the last one" Golver would grumble while rubbing his scaly brow and looking towards his companions. After a moment Golver would re-position the lumpy sack hanging over his shoulder and begin searching the room looking for clues or anything that might be useful in completing this challenge.
The room is small, 20 by 45ft. It's walls are lined with bookshelves but most of the books are missing or laying on the floor as if someone searched them in a hurry a long time ago! The room it's looks like it hasn't been touched in years. There's a desk pushed up against the only visible door but no widows. It seems to be an internal room. Beyond what your eyes detect Golver nothing seems trapped.
"Oh wow! Someone likes to read," Necey says. With Golver's light filling the room, she snuffs out her lantern so as not to waste the oil. "Always spent my time exploring and whatnot, and not the one to have my nose in a book."She casually kicks at some of the books and sees if anything catches her eye. "Hmm. Still... Maybe there is something here of use."She bends down and starts to looks at some of the titles of the books.
Investigation, for some sort of book regarding druid magic 19
All the books are that of a necromancer's library. These books look like they deal with life and death. There is one about decaying agents of natural origins however with a beautiful illustrious of a poisonous mushroom.

Golver will move across the room and approach the desk before inspecting it closely, sitting down the body and pulling out his magnifying glass to get a good look at it (Investigation agian? 4 to make sure it wasn't trapped before looking at the items on top and opening and searching the drawers. The dragonborn would then direct his attention to the door, working to push the desk out of the way and see if he could open it.
"This place gives me the creeps, I say we push on and we try and get back to civilisation but we need to watch out, something is going on here I don't know what but this dead body Golver has made friends with is all wrong - why is he dressed exactly like the gnome who brought us out here, he has clearly been dead a while but presumably those people who have been leading us around would know if one of them has been replaced by an imposter, I don't know what to think." Caerlan shrugs emphatically but shows the frustration on his face.

OOC: Aw shucks! So no mysterious dodecahedron? Also, was Necey able to bring the carpet along? I mentioned riding it down the hallway as we left the acid room, just wanting to make sure wether or not we still have it, or able to squeeze it down the hall.
"Ooo, pretty...! Mushrooms are tasty, but these look deadly."Necey says thumbing through the book she found. "Maybe on the next stormy night in bed I will have something to read."The halfing stuffs the book into her sack.
Nodding in agreement with Caerlan, "Yeah, but who are we going to tell about this?!" She then turns to Golver. "Did you find us a way out of here?"
"Once I get this desk pushed out of the way, I will have us out of here in no time... don't you worry" Golver would say as he throws his weight into the desk (after having searched it) and tries to push it to the side of the door. "I could easily move two or three of these desks stacked up to the ceiling if I needed too.. With my natural dragonborn strength and all.." He would say inbetween grunts and groans as he pushes the desk.
Golver finds the desk scattered in papers written in a language you cannon read. There's dried ink pots and dusty herbs strewn on the top. The desk drawers are slightly open too.
