After taking a moment to admire the sunrise, and calm down after the rabbit incident, Poxl takes her place on the other side of the cart. She stows the dagger she had pulled in readiness, and turns to Les:
Oh wow, that sounds amazing. But...who's Pelor? She looks a little sheepish or maybe shy at not knowing.
As they set out, she's going to keep an eye out for any movement -- perception 19 / passive perception is 15 -- and keep a dagger in her hand, in case of trouble.
“It’s just a rabbit folks, just like this one.” Chad gives a dramatic pause before pulling a magical rabbit out of his cloak, holding it by the scruff. It turns into smoke and vanishes.
After seeing the drivers seat empty and everyone else taking up their places, Chad jumps up and heads forward on the wagon to the drivers seat. Chad will prestidigitation a floating carrot in front of the beast to help lead them.
With deft hands and a clever use of spell craft the horse begin to stride forward . As you travel down the path about three hours in Vormash, Poxl and Baerlinn each of you notice dark shadows flying in a contiunal circle around the same spot farther up the road. As you all turn the corner you can now see that there are shapes farther down the path laying in the road. As you approach closer you can now see the shapes in the sky were circleing vultures over dead carcases of some large animal in the road seemingly blocking your path. What do you want to do?
As Baerlinn sees the large animal blocking the path he puts his hand on his greataxe and has a look around (perception: 17 ) "Bit of a strange place to have a large animal block the path, keep your wits about you everyone, ill go take a peek, watch my back yeh! "
Chad will bring the wagon to a halt and remain in the drivers seat. As the others begin their inspections, Chad will draw his wand and ready an attack from the seat of the wagon.
Poxl, Vormash and Baerlinn as you move forward you finally get a better look at the animals on the road. They are rideing horeses with large black feather fletched arrows sticking out of sides and shoulders. Blood pooled underneath them. Baerlinn you step up closer and can see saddle bags and a long cylindrical container still draped across the body of the horses and smell the rotting decaying flesh it is easily visible to you where the vultures have been slowly feast on the dead horses.

While Baerlinn investigates what happened to the horses, Vormash is trying to investigate if there are tracks leading up to or from the center of the road where the horses bodies are. (Survival: 13)
Les hops off the cart, just to keep some distance between him and the party members. He doesn’t want to be bunched together just in case anything happens. He will look to the path behind him to watch for an ambush and alert the party of anything out of the ordinary. Shield and holy symbol in hand.
Baerlinn and Poxl takeing some time to inspect the saddle bags and the container you fumble with the straps and opening for the better part of five minutes before you realize the saddle bags have been sliced open from the bottom there contents gone and the cylander container empty and looking closely at the horses you both recognize them from the white marking on the face of the first horse that Baerlinn patted the first time he met Gundren and Poxl you remember Sildar’s horse from the pattern of horse hair around the hoofs. Vormash you look at the track on the ground and after a few minutes instantly realize what they are and at the same moment you know everyone here is in danger but before you can call out you here the loud twang of a bow string and you jump to the side instinctively as the arrow flies inches from where you once stood. (I need everyone to roll for initiative!)

Goblins do have a surprise round on all of you except for Vormash who dodged the first strike(nice feat lol). Goblin one north of the horses shot at Vormash who doges just in time he will move and bonus try to Hide: 26 Vormash from a crouched position you hear muffled cursing in a language you don't understand as what you assume based on the tracks you found is a goblin shot at you disappears in to the dense foliage. Poxl and Baerlinn you both hear the shot and the cursing but are not sure as to who is attacking.
Baerlinn as you look to where the first shot came from and see the goblin scurry off into the brush you fail to hear/notice the second twang of a bow string south of you. Goblin two Attack: 11 the arrow pierces into your shoulder you take Damage: 6 piercing damage and watch as a hidden goblin attempts to run back into the foliage to the south after its shot bonus Hide: 8 the goblins crouches down but its feet are hanging out of the dense bushes ridiculously obvious to Baerlinn, Poxl and Vormash.
Les as you stepped down from the cart and glanced back behind the path your party came from you hear the shot and turn around to see that the others are under attack but in doing so fail to notice the bush beside the path rustle as a goblin comes charging out scimitar in hand! Goblin three Attack: 22 Charging forward the goblins blade bashes onto your armored chainmail failing to push past your defenses. The goblin shocked that its heroic charge failed epically will bonus disengages backing away nervously from you cursing you as he does.
Chadwick as you watch all this play out in quick succession you fail to notice the movement in the foliage next to your side of the cart. Goblin four Attack: 20 Caught of guard by the Goblins bull rush it slashes you across the throat with its scimitar Damage: 4 (you Actually take 8 Damage due to the Natural Twenty!). You drop to the ground blood pouring from the wound as your consciousness slips from you. The goblin after taking down Chadwick starts to charge around the cart towards Les.
Vormash since you were not surprised it's your go then the initiative order starts at the top. For Visual Aid

Poxl is gonna sneak up, 11 stealth, and ready a dagger for any aggressive movement that isn't a party member.
