 Though he had no way of knowing, the moment Orilo sees the brain go for winter, the smallest of grins played at his lips. Thank the heavens he wore a helmet capable of producing so much shadow.

 Song looks at this... thing. It may be a brain, but it was not a smart move to mess with us. He conjures eldritch power in his hand and unleashes an Eldritch Blast at the thing!

The grick squaks at Song and attacks!

Tentacle Attack: 14 Damage: 7

You TWIST out of the way from the first attack just in time, and the grick lurches forward too much in it's wrath, smashing against the table, taking 1 damage and is stunned. Everyone has advantage on it this round.

Watching Song's magical blast slam into the beast and it retaliate, Corrin steps back away from the fiendish crawler, finding a good angle and flinging his dagger at it. 

"What other horrors does this cursed place have to offer us? Leave my friends be!"

"What even is this thing?!"

Elya takes a two-handed swing at the stunned grick, trying to bash its brains out with her maul.

Anborn turns to Orilo and in a voice that's just dripping with I told you so says "This, right here, is why I said we should stick together and not go wandering off."

Anborn lands the killing blow on the grick, with amazingly clean hits so that the wet organic brain matter of the grick remains intact and there's literally no splatter. The abomination falls, and dies. Ew, gross.

Corrin retrieves his dagger, looking over the dead brain-thing. "Well, that happened."

Winter stares at the dead creature then glances around the room, looks up to everyone else when she's done surveying the area, then joins the group back in the dining room. She ceases the urge to stare daggers at Orilio and goes about to follow behind who ever is leading them to the next area.

"And now we're back to being the only things in here that are actually alive." Anborn will pat Elya on the shoulder again and cast Guidance on her. "You seem to be taking point fairly often, so here's a bit of a boost for you."

As you all travel further west, three ghouls explode up from the ground that the junction! OH NO!!! 
Ghoul1: 9

Anborn sees the ghouls pop out of the ground as Elya gets to the junction. "For ****s sake."

After the small show of force, Song feels a bit more invigorated. Is this place creepy? Yep! But he can take it. He made a pact with... SOMETHING to lessen suffering of the world, and he'll do it!

Although, he's not going to be lessening the suffering of the three ghouls in front of the group.
