It's Heck, Greg, you know, one of the heroes of the Great Train Dragon Battle. What're you up to, ya ol so and so? Got your eye on that pretty waitress? When she comes back I'll talk you up something fierce, you'll be a shoe in. Heck claps Greg on the back conspiratorially.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Put your spoiler here. Heck takes the money, folds it and tries to make it disappear. Sleight of hand 17okay, friendo, I’ll take a walk. But maybe you and I can have a more private chat later Heck winks again.
DM ^^
Listen Greg, id love to catch up, but I gotta check on my buddies over at the dice game. Do me a favor and send my whiskey over there when that pretty little number comes back with the drinks? Preciate, it, ol’ sport. Heck claps him on the shoulder again and heads over to the dice game without waiting for a response.
((Heck’s intention is to not pay for the drinks he’s just ordered, figuring that in the interest of keeping things quiet Greg will pony up for them))
((Did you ever see Pirates of the Caribbean? It's that Dice game. You either Bet or Challenge the previous Better. When you bet you state a Face of the Dice, anything from 1 to 6, and how many of that Face your betting are in the total of Dice between all Players. You must bet a higher total than the last guy, unless your betting on a different Face, then you can bet the same total as the last guy. If your still confused, we can skip the dice game and go to the results with 5 Wisdom-Based Tool Checks, and I'll use a different Dice Game next time))
((I was wondering! "Fffour foursss.." If I may try to add my explanation. Basically the point of the game is to vaguely guess what the contents of the other players' dice based on their bets and bet on what might be a probable outcome based on your dice and what you think players have, or bullshit. So for example if you have a lot of 5s in your hand (or are bullshitting that you do) you might call a high "Five 5s" and either A. you actually have 5s and get challenged and win because there indeed were a lot of fives or lose b/c nobody else had 5s, B. you were lying about having a bunch of 5s and get challenged successfully or win b/c people had a lot of 5s, or C. nobody challenges you and assumes you have a lot of fives (whether true or not). As a wrinkle, as the betting proceeds over time the number of dice in the bet must become larger and thus increasingly less likely, so deception & BS bets become increasingly necessary, especially when a few players are eliminated. Hence the name "Liar's Dice"))
"Well," Jacob snorts, "no one yet, but if there's anything to go on based on the last games, me." Everyone in the Party notices it, but the other players don't seem to. There's something odd about Jacob's actions. It's somewhat like when you catch someone bluffing, but far more confident.
Heckhas no idea what this game is. Gambling has always confused him, if you want to compete show off your Marksmanship, or Wrestle, there's no enjoyable competition of skill in random luck as far as he's concerned.

Vito looks at the dice game and shakes his head. “I’m more of a poker and craps man myself. We didn’t play this die game where I come from. Eugene, I’ll watch you play a little.” Vito then looks around at the table, stopping at Jacob a little longer. “Anyone know where a man can buy some cee-gars?”
"Here ya go," Bill says as picks up Vito's Quarter and hands it to him, "if ya want some smokes, ya better head to the General Store quick, it's 'bout ta be 9." Jacob's smirk twitches as he puts in a quarter, "seven 6s."

Neither Larry nor Bill seem surprised by Jacob's bid, and Jacob seems extremely confident. You still feel like something's off. Your extremely certainly that no one has changed their hand nor another sleight of hand has taken place. The only things you think may be possible is either Jacob is foolhardy, which doesn't seem to be the case, or something happened before the game began that is now affecting the game.
After a tense moment Larry speaks up, "Shoot, I know it happen 'fore, but I ain't gonna believe it this time. I Challenge that." All the players reveal their hands.
Larry's Hand: 6 1 5 1 5
Eguene's Hand: 1 1 3 2 4
Bill's Hand: 4 1 1 5 6
Jacob's Hand: 6 6 6 6 6
Larry slumps in his chair, "Aw shucks." "Shit!" Bill exclaims, "All 6s. How'd you do that?" Jacob beams, "I told you, luck's been on my side recently. Once I saw I had all of the same number, I knew I could bet big. I got a little worried at first when I only saw one 6 with Larry, thank Bill for the other." Larry turns to Eugene, "Your turn to start this round." The remaining Players roll their Dice and begin the next Round.
There is $1.00 in the Pot. It is Eugene's Turn.

Right as Jacob rolls his Dice, you barely catch him whisper something in Ibern, "Six-Three-Three-Three-One". Numbers....

((That'd be Larry's bet?))
Eugene squints at the man, content to let the first bidder Larry tank Jacob's dirty trick. He wants to see the contents of the dice.
