Harivaldr was unimpressed. "As my feisty friend with the bow said, you don't have the money. You're bounty hunters, the lot of you. If you had that kind of coin you wouldn't be hunting in the first place. And I have to admit, i share my elf friend's curiosity. Just what crimes are you hoping to avenge, Gessup?"
This wasn't working. If they couldn't send the headhunters off soon, there would be a fight, and an ugly one by the looks of it. He flexed the hand resting on his longsword, mentally preparing himself to go prone at the first sign of violence. He was in the open and without cover from those crossbow bolts, and seeing as he and Sen were the ones talking, Harivaldr figured they would be among the first targets.
"I have to agree with the lady standing behind me at this point. What have these two done to cause ya to be hunting them like dogs? To be willing to separate yourselves with that much coin?" Sen stands firm with a wide stance on the trail, unbudging.I guess that one did try to turn me to stone. Not very polite of her. Maybe I'm not a 100% at this point, but I'm too far in at this point. I go back now, I'll look like a fool.
Dathyra senses that things may be beginning to swing out of control. "Why do you seek revenge?" she asks, hoping to draw things out so her companions can take up better positions.
Phyllis takes up a new position and sends her owl skyward so it can get a better view. She's taking exception to these thugs pointing weapons in her direction.
Merric takes advantage of her questioning to move up behind Phyllis so that she is providing him some cover. He adds another voice to the fray by urging them to drop their gold and flee while they can.
Harrivaldr stands his ground, aware that he is still out in the open. Aware that he's a target, he's ready to go prone if anyone fires knowing that he'll be harder to hit. He calls out to Gessup, to explain his vengeance.
Sen attempts to keep the man talking, asking what these women could have done, that they'd be willing to give up so much coin.
There are few more tense moments, two of the bounty hunters farthest away move forward a bit. The red haired young lets out a rageful cry.
"Like I said." Gessup stalks forward about 10 ft.
Mattis just watches and grins because he knows what going to happen next. He swings his aim over to Sen.
"It's not about coin. She killed my Pa." He raises his crossbow and fires at Nyla.

Daryl moves across the road (F3) and takes a shot at Senik. Attack 10 His shot flies wide. Sen sees it coming and knows it is going to miss. He doesn't even flinch.
Gessup, still in a rage, stands where is and tries another shot Nyla. Attack 6His shot careems off the wagon, trying to fire between people at Nyla, who is under the cover of the wagon.

Sen watches the bolt fly from Daryl's crossbow, missing him. "Well, guess you're the first wanting to die, mate" Sen pivots and launches a crossbow bolt at Daryl.

Merric sprints up behind Sen, whispering "Cover me. I'll watch yer back!" Taking but a moment, the halfling ducks in behind Sen trying to disappear from his enemies - Stealth : 15, and then lets an arrow fly at Daryl who may not see it coming, the shot seeming coming from between Sen's legs!
Attack: 26 Damage: 16
Advantage (if hidden) 23 (Sorry...forgot to use the "Advantage" option on the original attack. Please use this if better. Still getting used to the PbP system).
Lucky Attack Reroll: 19
Waka...Merric's bow damage roll is 1d6+4 with 3d6 for sneak attack if Daryl does not see the Naturally Stealthy halfling. Note...firing through Sen's square gives Daryl a +2 to AC I believe for cover.
OMG...sorry for the convoluted post and OOC comments....hope it all made sense.

Harivaldr drew his longsword and took a few steps toward Gessup (M6) before he began to whisper discordant words tinged with magic under his breath that began to echo and endlessly repeat in Mattis's ears, "Fljúga, þú bjáni!"

Merric stealthily moves up and takes cover behind Sen. He launches an arrow right between Sen's legs. Sen might have been surprised by such a maneuver, causing Merric's arrow to just miss Daryl.
Harivaldr draws his and heads to Gessup and unleashes a spell at Mattis 13 Mattis clutches at his head, trying to shake the awful whispers. He forgets about Sen for a moment and sees Harivaldr, realizing that he must get away from him (moves to F7)
Mattis, clears his head, realizing that the whispering is gone. He takes his aim at Harivaldr and fires his crossbow at him. attack 10 The bolt comes flying straight for Harivaldr, who leans sharply to the side. He can feel the bolt graze his hair.
Sen's bolt flies true, and pierces Daryl's leather armor. The bolt is sticking out of his side as he yelps.

Ethan looks over and sees that his brother Daryl has been hit. Snarls and fires back at Sen. attack 17The rushed shot goes wide. Sen just stands there, untouchable.
[Yes....if you hover the mouse over the damage (14) it shows: ( 1 + 5 + 1 + 3 ) + 4 (yeah...crappy rolls...boo!) So the first "1" (d6) is the arrow damage, and the following 5 + 1 + 3 are the 3d6 sneak attack (if the enemy was unable to beat my hide check). The +4 on the end is the dex add-on.
So...if the enemy was unable to detect me being hidden, I would get the entire damage (14), but if I was detected (enemy passive perception I guess) he would take 5 damage in this case so sneak attack would not apply.]
