Wes has never heard of a door like this, but knows that since mending is a spell used to repair an object that is broken or torn, it is unlikely to have any effect on a magical door that is very much intact.
OOC: Giving some more time for characters to react to the voice on the red sending stones if they would like.
Speaking into the red crystal in Common: "Hey Nancy boy - you may feel good attacking my mate here while he's not looking. Come get a fight if you think you got some stones."

Another voice, different but also deep, giggles through the red sending stones in reply. The first voice then says, "I don't know who Nancy is, you fool. I am Dwa Trollblood. And if you don't leave now I will tear you limb from limb! What is it that you came here for? Money?"
For Rycider:
There still has been no movement from the orc army. The two headed ogre can be seen speaking into a stone at the forefront.
Tanakir speaks into the red sending stone, "Nothing that trivial."
Then, speaking to whoever else is on the first floor, "If you all so wish, you may retreat to the fifth floor while I remain here as bait. If they try to push in through the door, I will hold them off, and if that halfling shows up again, he will find I am more prepared than Wes."
“Well I was going to stick around and help out because crowd control is more my specialty. However if Mr. Tanakir over here thinks he can stall this horde longer than two seconds from the 70-100 arrows and bolts in his chest... I will leave him to it. I’ve taken my fair share of bruises already.”
Wes proceeds to the staircase to see if he can assist Fumbles in any manner
"Tha big fella is chattin into a sendin stone boys. He's either talkin with our Thorn or perhaps co-ordinating the attack. We may be lookin at a charge soon" Ricky relays
Tanakir responds to Wes before he leaves, "Unless they have another way into the tower, not too great of a horde will be pushing through those doors. If you'd like, chucking a few blasts at any groups of orcs waiting to charge me would be appreciated."
Wes turns around, patting Tanakir on the back. “Fair enough.... I’m standing behind you though”. A smile begins to crack out the corner of his mouth, if only to hide a wince.
"Grrrah, if we promise to kill you quick will you come out?" the voice growls through the red sending stones, responding to Tanakir. Then, another voice, low and gravelly but less forceful, "You're not wizards, are you?"
For Rycider:
After the questions through the sending stones, it looks as if the two heads of the ogre are arguing with each other. There is still no movement toward the tower.
"No answer? Fine. You will squeal loud when my troops make sport of you!"
"You're not working for Ssessibil, are you?"
"Shut it--"
The voices cut out for a few moments, before the deeper voice returns, "Enough. Many Arrows will hear of this. NAGPU has a binding mediation clause."
For Rycider:
The "window" is actually a translucent section of wall. It covers an entire quadrant of the tower (around 20 feet wide and 10 feet high). The seventh floor looks to be at least 100 feet from the ground.
You remember from your approach to the tower, however, that there were no windows in sight from the outside.
Wes walks over and picks up his red stone. “As long as we are asking questions friend. Why are there pictures of Clarence Fiddletum hanging on the third floor?”
Into the green stone; Master Wes, would you be so kind as to throw you're most spectacular looking spell out the front door.
Into the red stone, Ryciders voice is baritone and resonant, sounding altogether like that of a very old man;
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Curabitur purus leo, pellentesque at magna eu, dictum fermentum erat. Etiam vehicula volutpat ante et aliquam. Rycider Intimidation: 12 Tanakir Deception: 7
OOC: From his investigation of the door, Wes knows that even though it is translucent, it is still solid. Without opening it, no spells would be able to travel through it. There are no enemies within 150 feet.
There is no response back from the red sending stones for quite some time. After her chanting, Rycider sees the two heads of the ogre begin arguing again, and the entire orc army moves back another hundred feet or so, still surrounding the tower but giving it a wide berth.
Another hour passes in wait, with Fumbles occasionally muttering about how close he must be to unlocking the vault. Rycider finally sees movement from the orc ranks, as a crude battering ram crests the hills in the distance. The orcs being marching alongside it toward the tower. Wes and Tanakir see the ram rumbling toward the front door, through its translucent nature.
OOC: Enough time has passed with no strenuous activity that all characters have gained the benefits of a short rest. If you would like to roll hit dice, please do so in your next post.

investigation to check for structural weak points in the staircase. 24
Rycider relays all that is happening outside and then says to the party;
I have a plan Boys, to buy us a bit more time. I need a strong lad on the ground floor and rope. The thinnest we have. She will grab the front door key off Fumbles.
She ushers Wes to the stairs and explains as they move.
How are you're acting chops my Dear? We are going to subject those brutes outside to a quick bit of theater. Since ah need to keep an eye on the illusion ah need you to be our victim. Screaming is all that's really needed. We tie a rope to your ankle and you run outside, but not too far only twenty feet, screaming like a beast from the abyss is givin you chase. You trip and fall and the gibberin' smoldering arms of said Beastie shall drag you back inside. Understand?
Ricky shall reside over the preparations making sure everyone is on the same page with the timing. Especially whomever is pulling Wes back in with the rope. When she believes everyone ready she shall pull out the small piece of sheeps' wool from her bodice and start the spell Major Image
Should the spell work to her specifications, those from the outside will see a small humanoid run screaming from the tower only to trip, then out from the tower a frightening mass of arms and mouths, screaming and chanting, will burst from the doorway looking altogether like hell itself has broken the seal of reality, grab the poor humanoid and drag him back into the tower to his protesting and blood curdling screams. The door will then suddenly shut and the screaming stop.
Ricky will use her Inspiration with any rolls to help this work.

Tanakir will head up to Fumbles, "Ah, do you think I could get the stone you used to unlock the door? I may have a use for it relatively soon."
He will also check out the window to see if the army contains any spellcasters, archers, or siege weaponry (other than the ram).
