The hour passes and the party although still poisoned are able to begin their trek anew on foot. Gimble is weirdly quiet and contemplative as tge party moves through the desert at a snails pace due to the shifting sands but by late afternoon early evening they arrive at the road and grasslands.
"Camp," Gimble asks heaving his travel pack on the ground as he looks around. "Where's a good spot you think," he adds looking to Nat who's the only one free of poison who can make at least an unclouded decision.

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Finding a good patch of grassland already once a camp Nat points it out. There's already a dugout fire pit and even a petrified log to serve as a seat. Fresh water too is not far.

Nat helps set up camp, finding firewood for the fire and taking advantage of the existing fire pit. He has a look in the fire pit beforehand, though, to see if there's anything interesting there, though he expects to find only ash: Investigation15
If they succeed in bedding down for a long rest, he will offer to take the final shift: Perception23
The sunsets on the weary travelers. Nat is able to find turf to burn and in the ash before lighting it he finds chard bones of a small animal. After eating rations Gimble falls asleep promptly and pointedly offers no watch shift before he passes out. It's a balmy night. The heat is odd for late autumn but it looks like summer is having a hard time packing itself up. There's plenty of night birds and animals about as Nat's watch passes without incident.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Retiog finds the nearby water. He sits at the edge reflection on this first mission and trying to focus on pushing the poison out that still courses through his body. He dips his hands in the water and splashes it on his face, washing away some of the sand from the journey from the mountain.
"I will take the second watch," he says to the group.

Alici takes the third watch, filling her waterskin and drinking deeply. Doing her best to keep her eyes open after keeping watch the night before and with the poison still affecting her senses.
OOC: Well, just realizing Alici edited her post and didn't make a new one I missed it. Apologies. From now on if y'all can quote and add that'll be better so we're not altering rolls and not missing updates. Thanks!
The balming autumn day gives way to a cool almost cold night in the grasslands. Nat's watch goes on without a problem. He chuckles at Gimble's sleeping mutters of delight and the other noises his companions make in their slumber. After his watch concludes he wakes Retiog who sits at the fire. Midway through his watch, the stress of the day proves far too strenuous for Retiog as the half-orc misses plenty. When Alici wakes taking over but before Retiog can settle into sleep she notices Gimble's bedroll is empty! Not just that but the rogue's gear...everything has simply vanished from the campsite!

Alici lets out a large yawn and starts to stretch her arms when she notices someone is missing. She runs over to Gimble's bed roll and opens it to reveal that he's gone. "Gimble? Retiog, did you see where Gimble went?" She waits for a minute or two, in case Gimble comes strolling back into camp, then shakes Nat and Duc awake. "Gimble's missing. Can anyone pick out footprints?"

"Oh, come on! Why can't things just go smoothly once!" Duc sighs as she gets up, strapping her rapier to her side again, and then looking over the area for signs of tracks. "Alici help me look please."
Assuming help from Alici or another of the party I'll roll with advantage on the check (I felt Alici was sort of asking for a cooperative search)

I think we're still at the start of third watch, so we haven't completed a long rest. If we have, then Nat would have happily helped a survival check, but at the moment it would only remove the disadvantage, so the 10 would still stand, I guess.

Alici perches on a rock where she can have reasonable visibility and looks out for potential danger.

Alici attempts to be vigilant but she's far too tired and wounded to pick up anything big.
Folks can roll hit dice if they'd like!

Hit Die 1: 6
Hit Die 2: 11
(HP 33/39)
Nat's hit die: 4
Nat takes out his lute and looks at it, but then puts it away and does his best to remain hidden.
(OOC: Normally Nat could give everyone an extra 1d6 hit die, but this isn't probably the best time to start singing...)
OOC: Yeah. I think, no. Lol

Nat, not being poisoned, will do his best to find tracks. Survival 16
Did the poisoning not disappear with a long rest?
If not then that awesome 22 will be a lowly 10 :(
