"Your welcome in for breakfast you know. I'm sure the guys won't mind and Kestrell loves to get people to sample his rangers coffee. There chatting about our next move on the drow.
Anyway I have things to do and a temple to visit so ill see you later."
Selinae nodded and waved her off but remained where she was for the moment, she stretched and ran her eyes over the large building that the group apparently owned.
Vassa comes down stairs and see some of the group, "Morning folks. Kes, can I get a cup of that coffee there? So what's our plans now? I somehow don't think our Drow friend will fall for me as bait now. Elon, this was your quest for the Black Network. Would knowing the identity of the murder be enough to satisfy them or do they demand blood?"
"We know the identity but it means nothing. The killing needs to stop. Either he gets turned in to the Watch with proof or he disappears." Elon looks at Silver with a little bit is scorn. "I was ready to take him out last night but you just had to have your boots" he says mockingly. "You seemed to have more on the situation then us, what do you think we should do?"

Right about then Phaedra makes it back to Trollskull, bursting through the door with clear excitement. Prancing over to one if the tables, she carefully sets down her bag in the middle.
"I have a surprise for you all. It's a.... well an item of decoration for the bar. Something that says adventure and screams justice! Something that will show people where our allegences are. Gentlemen of Trollskull, I give you..."
Phaedra reaches into the bag and pulls out a orb like head covered in eyes on long stalks, with one bigger central eye.
"No you fool. This thing attacked me a few days ago but by the power of Mystra and my quick thinking, I blow it out of the air with arcane force. See..." she points to some darker patches at the side of the head, "this is where my magic missiles hit it. So I took it to a taxidermist and had it preserved and mounted on this board, so we can hang it over the bar!"
"Ooh your back again Selinae. And the answer is something like that. Xanathars Guild move on over, Phaedra's in town cleaning the streets of abominations. Now this trophy can gaze over the bar. Boom!"
Kestrell gulps, "Ah, I don't think dead monster heads are going to make people thirsty or give them a particular hankering for ice cream. Maybe we should put it upstairs?"
"Kestrell of all people, your a hunter. I thought you would like it. Keep it up stairs? Well I never, its a prize. Have you even killed a beholder. I think not. Next we could maybe get a minotaur head, or a dragon or whatever other evil beings crawl around down in Undermountain. The stories these" she puts her hand on the gazer, winces and takes it off again, "trophies will tell will make people thirsty listening to them."

"Alright, Phaedra, we can put it wherever you like. No, I've never killed a beholder. I don't even know that much about them. Why don't we see if I get thirsty while you tell us how you bagged this baby beholder?"
Silver just smiles as the group goes on their tangent, sipping his ale. He finally looks at Elon "Actually, yes we have a solid plan. Use our respective guilds to dig up dirt on this individual and track him down. Eventually, we'll catch him in the act. As for you being ready to take him out last night, with no physical evidence of a crime and the statement of two half-drow you would've been on trial for murder. This isn't going to be as simple as we raise our sword and slit a throat, we have three options..." he pauses as he lifts his finger to match the numbers "1. We catch him in the act of trying to kill someone and stop him, 2. We get him into a situation that would allow us to challenge him to a duel and we just don't stop at first blood or 3. We leave him alone for now and wait for him to attack us, allowing us to defend ourselves. We have found ourselves in the middle of a chess game and we need to be careful about our moves, our opponent is smart and I'm sure he is devising a plan to get us in trouble with the city watch or slit our throats as we speak."
" 4. We report his behaviour both to the Watch and his Captain. The watch have no reason to believe us especially after last nights debacle, but I doubt a man that hires drow gunners and as secretive as he is about whats aboard his ship will appreciate someone in his employ bringing the attention of the authorities down on them."
" My understanding last night was that we had two Waterhavian citizens who had been assaulted and were willing to swear to that....this turned out to be incorrect. But that would have been enough for most Magisters. If any of you are affiliated with organisations with magisterial influence that would be helpful."
" I would not suggest attacking him, he is very skilled and a lot tougher than he looks....a lot. I've been hit by an ogre before and that weapon of his hits harder than they do.", she rubbed her sternum gently.
" Honestly, I really don't understand what the entire point of last night was...and I know you don't need to explain yourselves to some random bit of dock flotsam...but if the idea wasn't to achieve justice for yourselves and remove a danger to others from the streets, what was it?"
"Good morning Phaedra, would you like a..." Kestrell trails off as Phaedra walks out the door.
"I don't know. Maybe to buy another set of fine clothes like she did yesterday?"
"Yes, we should figure out his next move. I guess we will talk to Silver and see what his plan is. Then we should try and follow the plan this time."
Silver comes down yawning as he just moves over to the tap pouring himself some morning ale "Morning all. How'd everyone sleep?"
Selinae nodded and waved her off but remained where she was for the moment, she stretched and ran her eyes over the large building that the group apparently owned.

" At least until you get something slightly bigger to replace it."
" Not that its not....its very impressive!"
Selinae looked the group over, unsure what their reaction to her would be, though Phaedra seemed unphased.
Elon laughs uncontrollably, "that's great Phaedra! We can start mounting the heads of monsters we kill all over! We finally have a theme!"
"Hey Selinae. We missed you last night. We're did you disappear too?"
