One of the duergar speaks up, "Aye. We went looking for him this morning. He wasn't home so we hid and waited. Next thing we know a buncha Zhents showed up looking for him too. We killed 'em all and left before the Watch showed up. Some of the boys are still out trying to dig up a lead on where he disappeared to."

Silver just nods "Sounds good mate. Out of curiosity, if we find him first do you need any type of information out of him? Just so I know if there's anything I should add on in case we end up killing him by accident?"

The duergar just looks at Silver for a moment, "Aye, he's holding on to something the boss wants. A magic stone of sorts. If you can get it there's like as not to be a promotion for you. Just bring it back here and we'll take ye to see Xanathar."

Silver just nods "If you don't mind me asking why is it so important? What exactly does it do?"

The duergar just shrugs. "Didn't ask. Usually safer not to know."

Kestrell knocks on the door from the outside.

"Hey!  How's it going in there?  I was thinking of making an apple pie.  Or perhaps a cobbler.  Maybe a streudel.  You guys got any gluten free flour?"

Silver nods in agreement "Probably for the best. What does it look like? Just so I know when I see it." he just ignores Kestrells knocks on the door.

The duergar looks down at his feet, "Um... I don't know. I...um... I didn't ask that either"

 Kestrell sighs.  "A little vanilla icecream on top.  Doesn't that sound good, Serinade?  We should go get more of the flufferspiegal things that you found too.  I'm getting hungry!"

She dug in her pockets and found a slightly linty piece of bacon and held it out to him.

She looked at Phaedra, and whispered, " So....whats the plan? I've kinda lost track."

"It does not involve pocket bacon, that's what..." she says with a disapproving look.

"Silver won't be long and then we will see what he has found out."

Kestrell looks in horror at the linty bacon.  "Why do you have bacon in your pocket?!?  All that grease is going to ruin your clothes.  And a crispy piece of bacon will never hold it's shape, it's going to crumble down into bits!"

Silver just nods as the Duergar responds "Sounds good then, like finding a needle in a haystack. One final question and I'll depart, what do you know about a man named Jarlacle, or a woman named Laeral Silverhand?"

"Laeral Silverhand is the open lord of Waterdeep. Not sure about the other." replies the duergar

Silver just nods "Thank you." he says just opening the door and stepping out. He just carefully shuts it before looking to his party members, he just motions for them to continue down the other path before starting to speak "They don't have the stone. Apparently, Stormborn gave them the slip this morning. Though everyone is hunting this stone down, Xanathar himself apparently has a reward out for it..." he just let's out a sigh "Whatever it is, I don't think this is going to end well for our party."
