Silver just draws his bow and lets an arrow fly at the Gazer.

OOC: Per post 1384 in our private comment thread, I'm using the earlier initative roles for all encounters during your trip to the sewer. No need to role initiative.

OOC: Silver, I redirected your aim since your target was dead. If you object, please let me know what you would have rather done.

OOC: Elon, you do realize that you're in the front of the line, right? From when you moved forward to blast a spell through the arrow slit.

Selinae stayed where she was and fired her bow at the floating eye-thing, " Kestrell! Found One!" she yelled as her arrow pierced the gazer and it let out a growl.

"One what?!?  Where?" Kestrell catches a glimpse of the gazer as people jostle around the hallway gets excited.  "A Gazer!!  Great job, Serinade!  Now let me at it."

"You there, goblins!  Step away from my quarry!" Yells Kestrell as he looses an arrow toward the gazer. Kestrell's arrow has enough power to go through the gazer and exit the other side spilling viscera onto the goblin near it. The gazer falls to the ground with a splat.

Silver just draws his bow and is about to let an arrow fly at the Gazer when he sees it fall so he re-adjusts his aim to the goblin in front of it. His arrow hits the goblin right in his heart eliciting a faint cry of pain before it collapsed.

The last goblin glances back at the door to the east, his eyes go wide and then takes off running to the west. You all see a huge hand reach out of the door and grab onto the wall on one side, then another hand reaches out and grabs the wall on the other side of the door and something quite large pulls itself through the doorway. It then turns and glares down at you all for a moment before turning to see the dead goblin to the south. A heavy, repeating sound comes from the creature and you all realize that it's laughing about the goblin getting killed. It reaches down and tears an arm off the dead goblin and starts to eat it while turning back to you all.

Round 1 is done, Round 2 is up!

Elon sees the huge creature look at them, "Holy Mistra Shit!" he yells out before climbing, crawling, squeezing past everyone. Once at the back of the line he will load his crossbow.

Selinae grinned and charged toward the giant creature, dropping her bow and slipping her blades into her hands.

" Good day, Sir!", she said cheerfully as she slashed at him.

Shortsword Attack: 21 Damage: 10

Bonus Action Dagger Attack: 9 Damage: 4

"Elon! Do not take Mystra's name in vain!" Phaedra yells out from the back of the line.

Silver just looks at his companions and sighs as he puts away his bow. He just draws his blades as he mutters some words in under common as a bright violet light begins to outline the creature.

OOC:

Casting Faerie Fire on the creature. (Dex save: 14)

Elon makes his way to the back of the line, "Sorry Phae but the last time I tried to take something on alone I almost didn't make it" he says apologetically.

He gets his cross bow loaded but can't get a clear shot past everyone.

"I got the Gazer!  That's how it's done!  Now, what is that thing?"

Kestrell uses his bonus action to move Hunter's Mark to the new creature.

Then he readies a shot with his bow, triggered if he can get a clear shot at the new creature.

Sharpshooter Attack: 8, damage 18 piercing + 2 additional piercing.

Round 2

Now, what is that thing?"  Silver just looks at his companions and sighs as he puts away his bow. Selinae grinned and charged toward the giant creature, dropping her bow and slipping her blades into her hands. " Good day, Sir!", she said cheerfully as she slashed at him, her sword drawing a line across his chest as her dagger stabs into it's abdomen. As Selinae pulls her dagger free Kestrell's arrow flies over her head and sinks in the left eye socket of the creature. It just stands there for a couple seconds and then there's a long sound of excess gas leaving it's body after which it falls over backwards.

As the creature hits the floor you hear the other goblin start yelling down the hall. The first few words you can't make out but then you hear the following in common "They killed Gorek! The half-ogre is dead!" Immediately you hear the sound of several folks running. Selinae turns and sees some Duergar coming.

 OOC: Great job on the fairy fire Silver! The advantage from that allowed your team to take down a half-ogre in one round. Inspiration to you sir!

Silver just makes sure his mask is up as he steps in front of Selinae making a gesture for them all to hold off for a second "Well he did attack us first. We would like to just talk, but had no other option. Are you all with Twinbeard by chance?"

One of Duergar looks at Silver and says something the rest of you don't understand.

Silver:

As soon as the duergar finishes speaking he moves his hands as if casting a spell. Silver and Selinae both notice that the other duergar making similar, but not the same, motions with their hands. Then the duergar that spoke starts to grow and in moments he's more than thrice his previous size. A heartbeat later the other duergar finish their spell and that they vanish. While this is taking place you here footsteps of others coming in your direction.

Selinae looked at Silver, then at the Duergar" So I can stab this one?"

( Assuming she gets the nod)

Attack: 27 Damage: 14   No chance I could add Sneak Attack to that? 10

BA: Attack: 26 Damage: 3

Elon looks at Phaedra "um...should we help them?"

"Yes!!" Phaedra yells as she starts to push through the others to get into the room.

Silver just nods at Selinae "Yeah, he doesn't want to listen." He says swinging at the Duergar.
