The kenku looks at Asariel for a moment before answering, his eyes flickering between hers and the coin purse. “Follow the yellow signs in the sewers.” in a thin, nasally voice he finally says.
"I think he's telling the truth. Let's stop messing around and go find Floon. He is probably upstairs."
"All good then. I guess if he's no threat to us, then we let him go like the others.
They said that the 'pretty one' is in the back room. There's a door on the other side of this stair case. It may not be the one, but we should check it out before we move up."
'Vassa moves back around the stair case to check the door on the other side to see if it's locked or trapped.'
[OOC] Taken from post 380: Investigation check 16 on the door. Vassa would be standing on the square diagonally left of the door.
D&D is a game, but it's not just a game. It's the ultimate storyboard, a campfire to share with friends, an imaginary call to imaginary arms and a ship to sail to horizons yet undreamt of...
As Vassa walks up toward the door he sees that it hangs loosely on broken hinges and he catches the smell of sour fish and vinegar coming from the room. As he inspects the area he sees no traps of any sort.

As the bard begins to walk away drig picks up the dagger and mace that he put down and looks to kestrel. Once again using the rangers words to speak.
"Do you need assistance?"
Drig takes the drum from his back that had been covering a sheild was strapped to his back, on the face of the sheild is a symbol, the head of a hound looking away. Drig looks to the ranger, the sadness in the kenkus eyes still present.
"Drig is alone."
Drig takes a step towards Kestrel his sad eyes holding a glimpse of hope at the thought of protection and possibly friends.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Hearing the soul eater's words echoing in this warehouse, Lockbox walks up to his friends and looks at the bird. "So, we get to keep pets now? Just stay out of my way, soul-eater. Or else." Locky looks at his friends in disbelief. "Now what? We have this...thing, but where is Floon? Floom? Bloom...Blood. There will be blood! Lead me to it, I will follow, friend."
He starts sharpening his axe while looking at the Kenku, slowly grinding.
Intimidation: 16
He is trying to be intimidating but comes off as hokey and slightly laughable. The grinding stone slipping from his hands a few times and him completely missing his blade multiple times. The eye contact may have been a mistake, but he's holding his ground. He has to protect his friends and this demon needs to know that.
"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

Kestrell, slightly confused at this strange turn of events, tells Drig:
"Yes. Have you seen 'the pretty one'? We are looking for him and we think he is in this warehouse. Will you help us find him? Oh, and also, my friend Lockbox over there is keeping a very close and distrusting eye on you. So don't try anything funny. Come on. Do you have any weapons?"
Kestrell walks over to Vassa.
"Is this the back room they have been talking about?"
Kestrell stands slightly back from Vassa so that he can cover both Vassa at the back door and see anything coming down the stairs.
As Vassa opens the door, he and Kestrell see a room filled with discarded ropes, canvas tarpaulins, and splintered wood from smashed barrels. As you look around you hear ragged breathing coming from under a tarpaulin at the north end of the room.
"Yeah, what Kestrell said. Very distrusting. And I don't like funny things!" Lockbox feels like he's the most intimidating force in the city right now. He is almost scaring himself as much as the creepy birdman was creeping him out. "Let's go, pet. Time to go find friend."
Locky will walk forward with Kestrell and always keep one eye on Drig.
"Do I have a soul, Kes?" Lockbox will whisper his inquiry to his friend.
